  1. i am generally a cold-affiliated person, but even some of my friends say the humidity makes it unnaturally hot. I'm totally fine with 22°, everything above is getting hot for me. i think 36-38° is some of the hottest we get here (and -20 was the lowest)
  2. Its really hot here in austria, even though it's only 19°C, all the rain has risen the humdity to an almost tropical leve here.
  3. It depends on the mission im going after, but its mostly dark electro and black metal. burning those SRBs away with some Marduk Going to orbit with stereomotion Long deep space travel requires some futuristic sounds Reaper Psyclon nine Grendel Combichrist And for a magnificent descent and successful re-entry Nachtmahr
  4. On another forum i'm in, we've got the smalltalk thread; it is basically there to prevent threadspamming the forum with 1-4 reply topics and also as a general discussion platform to avoid getting off topic discussions in other threads (a good example would be having the furry pro contra discussion here, instead of spamming their megathread) Now, this has some rules, as it is not a general spam and flame thread; so the overall forum rules still apply; except for going off topic, as this thread has in fact no stable topic. You can discuss pretty much everything here. You can get to know other users here. So be civil, respect one another and don't troll. (or the mods will rain down hell on us) So, what's everybody been up to?
  5. Rightclick [game]-> properties -> Tab:Updates -> Dropdown menu: Do not update
  6. It was more of a crash..with 60m/s Even the revised version screwed it up.
  7. From http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/24533-Show-off-your-awesome-KSP-pictures!/page40 that "mission accomplished" just made that pic description even more kerbal. (i also like my quote you posted here xD)
  8. A civil discussion (on the other hand, Trux) would be on another thread, since this is not the thread topic. the thread topic is that people said things in another thread they likely regret now.
  9. crash the thing on purpose, go to VAB, select the rocket again and launch.
  10. You just got lucky! double the jeb, double the awesome!
  11. i do not want to spread any hate here, but Trux's link source seems fairly biased towards furries. (i'll admit i am biased too, but more negative.) But hell, if they want a thread here, why not, as long as it doesn't become a weird cybering orgy.
  12. i think this is the place to say this: i've never been in a forum more civil than this. A forum where you truly have a right of free speech, a forum where you can discuss the borderline things, a forum where you can see the whole community losing their minds over someone else (in a good way). And i thank the mods and the community for that. :> The CMs seem really farseeing here; though it was a bit late when they stepped in on the thread.
  13. Millie has such a "ohh"-face i think the proper term for this shoudl be WHEEEEEE!
  14. back in the days, all gamers were considered nerdy. It's really bad when you have to pick through another social structure to reach the people you like to hangout/discuss stuff with.
  15. im pretty sure the furry people and the bronies have their "encounters" too. (there is seriously wicked stuff out there about MLP)
  16. i think that clip was about damian saying goodbye to the old aerodynamic model (because the new on wouldnt let him do these maneuvers)
  17. but why really bother? The purpose of a story is to convey (amongst other things) character development and plot, the "sci-fi" portion is merely a setting to let these things happen, to put them into a situation (a situation that can't be replicated in real life, thus alienating is just enough to let us see the circumstances of said situation and judge differently)
  18. Thats why it is called science FICTION; some people still seem to forget that this is made to entertain, i can suspend my disbelief if there is some "magic-tech" that has been introduced (like the Hyperdrive, artificial gravity field. etc. Dead Space did a good job at that, actually). I cannot, on some points, contain myself about out-of-nothing rule breaking of physics laws. (Alien : Resurrection; the re entry at the end would have compromised the whole vessel, if i remember correctly)
  19. nyrath: you can intercept it, as stated in your link. You cant really intercept a melter. though i think yours is more of a "structure killer" than a "planet killer". A melter is also perfect for surgical strikes.
