  1. Reminds me of Franklin from The Critic in some way, perhaps just the expression. Great job all round, these are fantastic.
  2. I want there to be more purpose in going to planets. Science to do, resources to gather, more intricate worlds to explore. They're currently a bit simple.
  3. [EDIT: 110 already done...] 112 year old man. By the way, how about some that aren't highway numbers, badges and aircraft?
  4. I don't think it would be necessary to have it really as stretched as Sedna's orbit. But something with a similarly shaped one, just a lot smaller, could be interesting. A person would still have to wait, say, 100 years for the next orbit to come around.
  5. Yeah, I always wonder how they decide how tall a mountain like Olympus Mons is and all that.
  6. I guess it depends on the nature of the culture. There are plenty of human cultures that have remained at a tribal stage up to this point in time (or at least until they began interacting with more advanced cultures). The Australian Aborigines spent some 50,000 years spreading out over the whole continent without making a single permanent structure (as far as I know). As for the amazon thing, I'm not going to argue for it, it may be wrong, I can't remember where I learned about that.
  7. From that perspective I would say yes, I'm sure KSP2 would be great, but have you thought about the moral perspective? If they did that now, it would be clear they are just abusing you as a customer, they promised to give you updates to the completed game for what you paid and then they just stop in a clearly unfinished state to make a sequel which costs you more money.
  8. Makes perfect sense that it would use power. It's a mechanical process. Really, even Kerbal life support should use power. Make it important to pack a power source.
  9. Possibly, though I don't see how this means it's not possible we haven't found them yet even if they are preserved. We're constantly discovering fossils of things which have never been seen before, and the fossils we do have of things which may have been very common (Like various species of dinosaur) are in very limited number, incomplete skeletons etc.. Even civilisations in some places have had very little known about them until recent history, or we still know little about them, and signs of their civilisation is largely lost or destroyed. Recently, it's been suggested a large portion of the Amazon was manmade by an ancient culture (To do with the nature of the soil), the infrastructure of which has been lost and destroyed by the jungle.
  10. Sedna is a lot smaller than our moon... Anyway, I have suggested before that a planet like Sedna, like with that bizzare orbit, be added to the game, but I think you should know better than to suggest the actual planet itself, this isn't our Solar system.
  11. I'm not asking about if they could have set up oil rigs, large mining operations, skyscrapers etc., I'm just asking basic level civilisations. Maybe they lived in mud huts and their only tools were stone axes or something.
  12. They could remake it with a new, high-tech engine that can take full advantage of modern computing and make much biggerships with more accurate physics.
  13. Well I think I'll add a qualifier in to make it plausible as some evil superpowers plan. What is the easiest way to destroy the Earth within one person's lifetime, using current or expectedly plausible semi-near future technology.
  14. I wonder if the terrain scatter is changed on the inner planets as well as the heightmaps.
  15. It would have been nice if someone had made a video of Moho/Eve, only Chickenkeeper seemed to remember to even mention it.
  16. I might not on principle, as the game is clearly not complete, what with the blanked out career mode and said-to-be-in-development resource system and all. It would make Squad appear to be money-grubbing and abusive of the trust with consumers, which currently of course they are not.
  17. No reason they can't be both.... someone needs to make an evolution of man diagram of this.
  18. Laythe. Floating base with jetskis. Yeah.
  19. Wasn't the line between same-species and related-species blurred when they found that Grolar bear? Should grizzly and polar bears be considered different races of the same species of they have produced fertile offspring?
