im having big issues with this mod. When i launch a ship the screen goes black but portraits and the like stay needless to say makes the game unplayable remove orbital decay it all works as it should. another unhappy second class user here, thanks Squad
-
Its actually March 20th 2013 i bought on 30th
-
i agree
-
Well yeah, but technical definitions and practical reality can very well differ. Lol
-
the problem is "the most up to date version of the game" will soon be 1.1beta and will only be available via steam look no matter which way you spin it the none steam users have been lied to wether its for the best or not
-
no but i will point you to an earlier post i made because i can see how my feelings are not clear..
-
i understand the pros and cons but can you understand i bought from the store after being led to believe by squad that i would get game updates and new features the same time as everyone else,Now squad are telling us if we dont want to wait we have to by from steam??WTF It STINKS TO BE A STORE USER FOR THE FULL KSP EPERIENCE GIVE YOUR MONEY TO STEAM NOT SQUAD That is literally exactly what has happened. Up until version 1.0 all versions were pre-release, including the 0.90 "beta", and all were available through all outlets. The FAQ on the website and comments from Squad representatives said that Steam, store and all other outlets were treated equally with regard to having access to new versions, and labored to point out that Steam would not be getting new releases first. It is hard to see how this new policy can be seen as anything but backtracking on that. People made decisions on where to buy the game based on what was told to them, there's a reason that point was addressed in the FAQ. I've gifted two copies of KSP to friends, and I bought them from the store because there was supposed to be no difference and it put more money in Squad's hands as opposed to buying on Steam and giving a portion to Valve. Now I look like an idiot for paying the same price for a store copy when a Steam copy includes early access at no additional cost. People can get nitpicky about what constitutes a release, a prerelease, or a version; I don't really care about that as I'm not trying to put together a legal case and semantic games miss the point anyway. The simple fact remains that Steam users will be able to play the game with 1.1's features before users who bought

this i agree with
-
Yeah that was supposed to be sarcastic but I understand it gets lost on the net. Oh and just to make my feelings IMO. In general this is a great idea and would rather it be this way than not at all Alienating some of the community is not a great idea I understand the why's etc just think the whole situation could have been handled a lot better.any I'm done with this thread we can argue all we want it is what it is..just don't expect me to be happy about it and not express my dissatisfaction B
-
totaly agree with this
-
having that option to would be nice.........yes all just feels like a kick in the teeth to the people that bought from the store
-
Well maybe squad put a note on the ksp store saying "for the full ksp experience buy from steam"
-
yeah it all seems a bit wrong to me i if i buy first party ie direct from squad store shouldnt we all get the same opertunities and features next we will be taking out sandbox if bought from gog imho squad should let people transfer to steam again.really feel bad about all this lost a LOT of confidence in squad
-
Yeah in hindsite i was a bit harsh,i should have said left out, missed the date to transfer to steam by 1 month
-
Well seeing as i use the store i feel ripped off...thanks SQUAD you could at least give us the option to move to the steam store again
