  1. As the title says, I would like more runways: 1. A runway with a gentle curve at the end to assist with take off. 2. A runway which points North/South. 3. A magnetic launch rail. See the bottom of this page: http://www.projectrho.com/public_html/rocket/surfaceorbit.php
  2. Not really. The figures for average players are not bad at all.
  3. Keep trying if you can get within 10m then you have almost docked. As for turning the engine on.... Happens to all of us at some point or another.

  5. This is more complex than it sounds because when ships dock, the game sees them both as a single ship.

    Cool!!!

    A first landing is a real achievement. Can you send us a screenshot of your ship (press F1, press F2 to remove the navball etc)? Very hard the first time but it gets easier.
  9. This has already been suggested. I do like the idea of selective throttle control for VTOL craft though.
  10. Lightning wouldn't need to affect the game in any way but it would look cool. Also lightning rods would add to the realism.
  11. It's designed to be put on the front of an aircraft. Or you could just use bigger legs.
  12. Go for it. You should buy the game. KSP is an amazing game and when science, money and resources are fully implemented it will be a much bigger and better game even than it is now.

  16. An excellent idea. I am sure they will introduce more jet engine parts in time as well.
  17. Yes we definitely need a longer runway. There are two reasons: 1. New players will find it easier. 2. It's more like real life shuttle runways.
  18. If you find it boring, send different missions. They are stopping the repeating tasks as a way to get more science in the next update anyway.

  22. Always: 1. Bring stranded Kerbals home. 2. Fly with Bill Bob and Jebediah (except on rescue missions or when filling stations) Never: 1. De-orbit space junk. 2. Use mechjeb. (I used to but I prefer stock + chatterer now)
  23. But this is the fun of Kerbal space program. The reason the game is so good is that it is all down to real skill. If you automate the process of testing things it would not be as fun. All the achievement of going to eeloo and back would be for nothing if you knew it was possible before you even launched.
  24. I don't really understand what you are suggesting. How would it change how the game is now? At the moment when kerbals die, they don't come back (except the big three).
