  1. Sorry this has been suggested before. Autopilots are on the do not suggest list.
  2. Since there is no life support planned for the game this would provide a good reason to return Kerbals home and send up fresh recruits on a regular basis without disastrous consequences for not doing so.
  3. From youtube I am really looking forward to getting my hands on the .22 version with the new tech tree. I think it will really give some purpose to the game and especially the underused other parts like all the engines. However, as the title suggests I am getting married this Saturday to the love of my life and as a result I will be away on my honeymoon for a little while and unable to play KSP. Maybe by the time I come back to the UK they will have released a new mini update to fix small problems with .22. I probably wont be able to play until mid November
  4. 1) Mun 2) Duna 3) Gilly 4) Minmus 5) Laythe with probe 6) Dres 7) Dres rescue mission (underestimated how much delta-v was needed to stop) 8) Second Dres rescue mission to rescue the first mission and the rescuers. 9) Giant refueling station round kerbin for my Eeloo mission 10) Eeloo (With two landers and 12 Kerbals) Next stop, the Jool system with a huge mother ship with some landers and a space plane.
  5. I think this idea could work with some limitations. Part of the fun of KSP is the risk involved in taking your Kerbals millions of kilometres and not being 100% sure if they can return. You could have a simulator linked to research so at first there is no simulator, then a max of ten parts per simulation then 20 parts then 30 etc with each research. It is theoretically possible to find out all the information (gravity, atmosphere etc) you require to plan a mission with a probe already. If it becomes too easy to test everything the risk will disappear.
  6. Don't worry you wont have to. Rockets are easier than planes. That's why there were rockets hundreds of years before planes. The Hwacha
  7. While circularising around Duna I realised I had put the landing legs on upside down.
  8. Why not just reinstall the game and add the mods you do want (copying the saves you want to keep of course).
  9. But the risk is part of the fun. Besides we will still have sandbox mode.
  10. You can make your own engine clusters. Use the TVR-400L Stack Quad-Adapter for example.
  11. Or better we could create our own categories and change the default ones.
  12. As above. The links no longer work. Also more posts please.
  13. I would really like this. Being able to map a planet or moon would be very useful for picking landing sites. Also could be a science part. We know it is possible because of the ISA Mapsat mod which sadly no longer works.
  14. Yeah, a flag is quite clearly not a flight. Maybe they could give the number of flags planted though.
  15. This makes sense for human space flight but in the spirit of kerbal space program I would suggest strapping a Kerbal to the side of an SRB to see what happens.
  16. Would be amazing. Been wanting this for ages!
  17. I really agree with you. It is great but it could be so much better.
  18. Because I wanted to know the answer. People are clearly frustrated with the speed of development. I wanted to know if they think it is a good game in it's unfinished state.
  19. I have seen several posts/wars, generally with people complaining that development feels very slow but also saying the game is great. Clearly nobody wants the game to disappear, I think it is brilliant. I would be annoyed if it stopped suddenly but I still think the game is great, even in it's partially completed state. Would you be happy with the game?
  20. Today I failed to reach Laythe due to overzealous aero braking around Jool: I then accidentally went on EVA with spectacular results:
