  1. You ever seen the description for the battery tech node? apparently, they had electricity, but never thought to combine it with rocketry.
  2. Went to Jool with the largest ship I have ever built, and then: Apparently, they can get into the command pod, but not out.
  3. From what I remember, it's actually the names themselves that make them have orange suits, and as such, renaming them removes the suit. There might be a way of changing which names dictate this, but I haven't seen any personally.
  4. Interesting. Perhaps this could be related to comets and their very elliptic orbits, maybe? In any case, I suppose using KSP physics as a basis was ... not the best idea. Also, that animation of J002E3 shows fairly clearly what's going on exactly. Real life physics makes very strange things happen...
  5. Ok...so, just to check I'm understanding this right, the asteroid would be slowed by the gravity of a moon? I assume out gassing would be a bigger factor when considering asteroids that orbit far from their planet, like a lot of Jupiter's moons...
  6. Not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask this... Anyway, I've learnt from my time in KSP that to get something captured around a planet/moon, you need to apply a force to slow it while inside its SOI. But, IRL, things like asteroids obviously don't have engines... so how do they are able to be captured by a planet's gravity? I did quick Google search, but didn't get any clear answers.
  7. Interesting. Have you deleted by accident, perhaps? It should be listed inside the scenarios within the saves folder, in the KSP directory.
  8. You sure? I just checked, and Station One is there for me.
  9. It's available the Station One scenario. If memory serves correctly, it's not a lander, but just an interplanetary craft.
  10. Within the atmosphere, debris is deleted when it is more than 2.5km away from the active craft. There are mods that can change this, or so I'm told.
  11. This might be of some help. Getting rovers back, however ... is another problem entirely.
  12. I kinda assumed this would happen anyway, considering experiments already have a size in terms of data...
  13. Also, unless you time it well, getting to Moho probably isn't an option either.
  14. Well... http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Planned_features
  15. Left-clicking and dragging allows you to change orientation when in EVA mode.
  16. Wait. You actually collided with it? Getting an encounter is one thing, but actually hitting it...
  17. I think the current situation of the reaction wheels is kinda temporary - Inline Reaction Wheels and Inline Advanced Stabilizers actually both do the same thing. It was kinda necessary to keep both to prevent craft file breakage, and at first they were actually different ... as mentioned above, Inline Advanced Stabilizers used to be SAS equipped, while Inline Reaction Wheels did not, but that was changed in the next patch.
  18. Manned landing on Eve, followed by a landing on Moho, and a return to Kerbin. With no nuclear engines or fuel lines. Haha...no.
  19. I'd always kinda assumed that you would take on new missions at mission control, rather than planning them out or anything. Although, that does seem like a good idea...
  20. From what I remember, Squad have said that they will attempt to lump all save-breaking changes into a single update, to prevent every update from breaking saves. However, saves will probably be broken again multiple times in the future, until development is complete.
  21. I think KSP uses the Unity engine, which Squad do not design.
