originally the stats were there as the pre requisites to be able to teach kerbals how to fly rockets on there own (ie turning your kerbal into a dumbed down version of mechjeb) currently all they do is alter facial expressions im sure the devs will come back to there beloved kerbals and add flying, takeoff and other autonomous ability via training

awesome plugin thanks so much been looking for something like this for ages -
there has been allot of promising research done on this subject recently but it still requires proof of concept i am hopeful that the equations they have calculated work out for all our sakes this planet cant take too much more ....and yes i know space travel dose not solve a fundamental problem with the human condition but it can buy us time to solve it ..at least that is my hope.

Map view enhancements

+ 1 WOULD love these features but most of all id love to be able to stage in map mode -
minus was my first landing no cheats 1) lower gravity made it easier for actual landing 2)plane tilt had to be learnt 3)less delta v was needed I'm still trying to land on the mun with no cheats ...........well its the getting back part I'm struggling with actual take away minus i would have probably dropped the game by now

jeez again with this topic use the search function you'll see this has been brought up 1000 times already its the devs decision to make the game a game and not a simulator simple as that if you like a simulator I'm sure mods will be coming out to fill your niche personally i prefer the ion engines as they are -

one of the best arguments i have yet heard agree 100% who cares if its not realistic as long as it is believable i personally never used the old ion engines as i did not enjoy doing burns that were way to long over a payload that was just to small i prefer the new ions by far also its a game fun should be the objective not realism

indeed i created this thread to see how much community interest there was in the feature of satellite mapping that's why its titled like that hopefully if enough people respond then i can approach Rowsdower again and say look i have x people interested can you please approach the devs with this feature request for implementation before 1.0 so far i have 8 people on board .. we gonna need allot more but i will wait to those whom have replied thank you -
cool thanks yep i got the static was unsure if it was like that due to lack of biomes or maybe lack of correct installation on my part so i thought id ask luckily i was able to get a bit of science out of that mission so it was not a wast of time thanks again to all for the patients and understanding and big up again to the new caretaker of this awesome mod

massive thanks to the maintainers of this plug-inn it really needed it keep up the awesome work its looking great -
i would love to have this:D but it is a tough one to implement if we think about it make it to complicated a system and the long process of planning a rocket will now take even longer and make it to simple and its makes it pointless just adds more weight ......hmmmmm .... ........weight ... :cool:by adding more weight to your rocket you ramp up the difficulty as it takes more thrust to get you into space so maybe a system were the life support parts weight changes based on the amount of supply's in it, and that's based on how long your mission will be ...what do you guys think so the longer the mission the more difficult it becomes.

:huh:I have to ask is this the same community that voted ksp no 1 ? Yea they are taking a while but the game that is being developed is the first of its kind if you really think about it and do we forget no so long ago squad was actually building public interaction sets and not developing games. yes they are a bit slower BUT as a result the patch that is released is incredibly stable, more so than most alpha game releases. Again i love the fact that people join an alpha and get upset when the game is not complete. i get this all the time as a fireman all the things others would do if they were in my shoes ..point is they not and it saddens me. but hey we can all climb on here and have a good old rant about what the devs are doing wrong need i remind us that this is squads game ....GAME ....they can do with it what they please may not be beneficial but its there choice. I think its time to settle down have patience and have faith that they are monitoring the forums they have a feature list that they wish to get to lets be constructive as opposed to destructive all a discussion like this raises is hate and bad waves among the grander audience and surely that's NOT what we are about. All this energy should rather be spent figuring out what the community wants and then asking the devs to include that feature in later dev cycles (come up with a top 10 community requested features list) then hand it over to the devs and trust that as i know they will they will look at it and give it serious consideration. as always this is just my opinion my very own and no one else so nha:sticktongue: -

i was hoping it would be along the lines of the way scan sat currently dose things but after speaking to Rowsdower and after a blog http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...-Edition/page7 that states that they wont be incorporating mods i got the following reply so am hoping to garner enough community support to convince the devs that this is a feature people would like but so far its not looking good 90+ views and only one +1
