  1. Time. I would want to go to the moon because I would want to *go to the moon*. I would imagine there are much easier ways to become famous, like getting pregnant in your early teens and getting on tv. (Sidenote: I am still amazed that is a thing that can get people famous.)
  2. I have some space marine models, fully painted one, got started on a few others, and fizzled out... :/
  3. That isn't being a "Grammar Nazi", it's asking someone to show a little common courtesy when posting on a forum. So please, do so, we all would appreciate it.
  4. I've stumbled across that before too, it's awesome. This one has sound from the onboard microphone
  5. Ending the flight kills the Kerbals? That's news to me... Huh.
  6. That is really awesome. I saw two large ones at once from our hotel room at a beach once, moving inland. It was funny, everyone was running off of the beach, but not two minutes after a low cloud moved in and obscured them, everyone went right back out... Out of sight out of mind I guess. Fortunately they had dissipated before reaching land. I wish I had a camera for that...
  7. Man, I wanna see this, but I probably won't... It just looks way too stressful.
  8. You are wanting the space craft to always be exactly between Kerbin and the sun? I'm afraid no such orbit exists. Placing a ship between the two would require the ship to be closer to the sun than the planet is, which means a faster orbit, so the ship will get ahead of the planet. Edit: Or when you say in orbit around the planet, but always between the planet and sun... If the ship is orbiting the planet, it can't always be in-between the two. If it is in orbit of the planet, it will be constantly circling it.
  9. I have to admit to not understanding this either. The smell I can understand as well, but it seems the first slight changes in appearance towards that of a wasp would not be nearly enough to influence the wasp's behavior to make a difference and allow the mutations to continue until it highly resembled a wasp. Unless wasps have very poor eyesight and are attracted to anything that even remotely resembles a female wasp... I don't know.
  10. I have an iPhone mount that holds the camera about where the eye would be over the eyepiece. It works pretty well.
  11. There are so many things to go look at...
  12. Scott Manley helped me make my first manned Mun landing
  13. I must nitpick! Blue glowing part: Warp drive. Red glowing part: Impulse drive. Please, continue.
  14. Well yeah, Bill Nye has always been child friendly. I found it interesting.
  15. Full moon tonite. Couldn't quite fit it all.
  16. Hey, I recognize the VAB music in the video on that page!
  17. I heard that too, though there would have still been a large loss of life from many of the crew sleeping in the front of the ship. Did they ever figure out the controversy of the ship lifting up to such a large angle before splitting in half? Eyewitnesses said the stern of the ship lifted high in the air before tearing in half, but the researchers said that should not have been possible last I heard.
  18. Hey, it's a start. It looks surreal in flight... Blades spinning soooo slowly, yet floating there regardless.
  19. I live right smack in the middle of Dallas, Tx and I use my iPhone to take pictures. You don't need a fancy telescope to photograph the moon, either. Look at the moon photos in the first post in this thread, you don't need anything special to do that.
  20. The moon should be back out here later this month, I intend to post some photos around then. Unfortunately Saturn will be the only planet visible here until late November, when Jupiter shows itself again.
  21. Messing with drop tanks, just for fun. Don't forget your launch clamps! It actually flies. At full thrust, each tank empties in 5.3 seconds I got it into orbit on the last flight, this one was straight up and down. It coincidentially grazed the Mun's SOI just before coming back down. Coming back down very *quickly*.
