Space Frog Space Mission Ft. Peridot from Steven Universe: ive become fandom trash help

Do you have a screenshot that makes you laugh every time?
LaydeeDem replied to Randazzo's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Less funny and more of nightmare fuel: IIRC it was the life support mod that caused this. Also do gifs count? -
I built a close-ish replica of the Jupiter-120, a Shuttle-derived rocket from the DIRECT program, big difference being the modern Orion attached to it. (Side note: Are Wikipedia's stats on the Space Shuttle ET wrong? It says the LOX tank is 16.6m long but when I make it with the procedural parts it looks waaay too long. I found an 8m LOX tank looks much better...) (Also: Ignore the ugly environment shaders.) I used Procedural Parts and SSTU

When I was a kid (wayy back in 2007/8) my username for Roblox was "NUTTY555" because of so randumb lel. I eventually changed it to Nutt_005 for my steam username, and then it evolved into Nutt007 and I got attached to it. I've been stuck with this username ever since.

"Honey I'm home!" Using @sgt_flyer and @selfish_meme's stock Space Shuttle from here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/138351-11x-build-a-kerbal-scaled-iss-wip/&page=1

(1.1.x) Build a Kerbal scaled ISS
LaydeeDem replied to selfish_meme's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
@sgt_flyer Dayum So I tired out the canadaarm and used it to dock Zarya to Unity (I overwrote my save by accident so I'm restarting with the modules you guys have put out currently). It handles really well! I don't have much problems with it and the problems I do have are problems I have with modded robotic arms (Which is that I have no clue how to rotate them into position without a ton of trial and error.) It's definitely one of the coolest things I've seen made in stock KSP. Also does anyone have any advice for the alignment of the modules? Using the robotic arm. -
(1.1.x) Build a Kerbal scaled ISS

@sgt_flyer Thanks for the info! Clever idea to hollow out the P6 truss and use it as storage space. -
(1.1.x) Build a Kerbal scaled ISS
LaydeeDem replied to selfish_meme's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Well this blows my stock ISS project out of the water! How did you make the solar arrays and how to you plan on putting them together once in orbit? I ask because the P6 Truss/Solar Arrays are the current part on my ISS and they're turning out to be a real PITA. My version of the P6 Truss & Solar Array: -
It really works! Thanks! Anyways... I finished half of the solar array! Yay! But now the station is getting so wobbly that docking to it is like that scene from Interstellar. Boo. I don't know if I'll be able to finish this if the wobbling persists. Edit: I found out the reason for the wobbling! It's because I left the SAS on. Sadly, the wobbles aren't the only thing that's disappeared, somehow the front two panels got broken off when I was alt-tabbed. Screw this docking tug. I'm just gonna get KAS/KIS lol.

I just realized I forgot the solar arrays on Zvezda and Zarya. kill me

(X-Post from "What did you do in KSP today? thread) I've been building a stock version of the ISS. Today I made the P6 Truss and the Solar Array: Obviously THIS isn't going to fit in my shuttle. A pretty shot from ascent: The payload, folded up. (Note: It was really hard to get everything to fit, and it was also super heavy. I had to strap four more engines onto the booster (Energia-Buran Style) to get it to take off!) Rendezvous with the ISS. (Currently Zarya, Zvezda, Unity, and the Z1 Truss) Got the P6 Truss attached! Now to do the solar arrays. Oh boy, this is really tedious... I got one solar array in place! That was really difficult Aand the second girder! How many more of these tedious and frustrating docking maneuvers do I have to do? 9 ... PLUS three more of these solar arrays later on... That makes for 39 docking maneuvers for the solar arrays alone. You know what, I'll finish this later. I'm going to bed...

Wow, I haven't been on the forums in a while. Now that KSP 1.1 (64bit yaaay) is out, I think I'll be more active here again. Anyways, I've been building a stock version of the ISS. That was really difficult Aand the second girder! How many more of these tedious and frustrating docking maneuvers do I have to do? 9 ... PLUS three more of these solar arrays later on... That makes for 39 docking maneuvers for the solar arrays alone. (Assuming my math is correct, it probably isn't) You know what, I'll finish this later. I'm going to bed... Also does anybody know why my shuttle will tumble out of control during re-entry until I regain stability at 4000m? Am I doing something wrong or is the design of the stock "Big S" space shuttle inherently flawed?

What brand of GPU do you use to play KSP?
LaydeeDem replied to Red Iron Crown's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I have an NVidia card, though it's mostly just to reap the benefits of GPU rendering in Blender's Cycles renderer. My previous computer had an (old-ish) AMD card. I don't notice much difference for KSP between the two. EDIT: Been thinking on switching to Linux because 64bit KSP (also privacy but that's not as important as my KSP!), glad to hear NVidia has decent support for it. -
Texture Replacer and terrain textures are they possible to edit?
LaydeeDem replied to Bilb0's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
You need to use a plugin like Kopernicus to alter the actual terrain. Texture Replacer only can replace the "scaled space" texture, the one used from a distance and in the map view. -
[WIP] Convair NEXUS - super heavy Earth Launch Vehicle
LaydeeDem replied to TiktaalikDreaming's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
This may just be the prettiest thing I have seen. Looks about 500x better than my attempt at making this beast rocket haha -
Totally agreeing here, a big pet peeve of mine is that people jump right to "Aliens". UFO means "Unidentified Flying Object" All you need to be a UFO is to be unidentified, and flying. Also, off topic, Is the word "N.azi" really censored here? .... Oh you gotta be kidding me KSPF

How does the GRAVMAX Negative Gravioli Detector work, really?
LaydeeDem replied to Instresu's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I don't know much about the detector itself, but I do know that in the presence of Gravioli particles, do NOT put metal in a microwave. See: Futurama S3E11 "Roswell that Ends Well" -
Oh my god hahahahahaha this poor thing:
