  1. Little disappointed theres not the truely hellish world even closer to Kerbol choice. Maybe even big enough to have an atmosphere thats continually blown off into deep space But after that, definitely an ice giant. With the most unique moon set yet. Retrogrades, axial tilts, reverse orbits, etc. Test how far the physics engine can go!
  2. Call it the "Sasha" comes in about a dozen variants so far (shown: 2), used as station cores, science modules, planetary landers/hoppers, local system rescue ships, and so on. Backbone of my operations once I've established operations in any SOI.
  3. If at first you don't succeed, add more boosters. Explosions are dangerous. And friendly. And like to come over for tea.
  4. There was some hints awhile back that suggested that they had various test planets ready to go. But they were never implemented due to performance / engine concerns. Most of which have been tackled by now. I actually think adding another planet is a good idea, despite the fact that so much is incomplete. GP2 will allow them to implement a planet with a different axis of rotation and the resulting tests on the engine will be understood for longer term use. A series of moons could also be immediately implemented as well to test various other things with the community, such as low orbital moons, a retrograd-revolution-moon (could even have a dense atmosphere like eve) could all be interesting additions, and used to test difficulty / engine capability. Hope tradition continues for xmas though, and we see at least a small new addition to the solar family.
  5. Jerbert stabbing the mission complete flag into the soil of Moho. Now back to the lander, and to figure out how to get back to Kerbin with the Krakened mess I have in orbit.
  6. Decided to make a new standard booster system. 17 Mainsails firing at once doesn't seem like enough though... Maybe it should be, bigger?
  7. I personally really enjoy Moho. The rolling terrain and with the sun taking up a quarter of the sky makes it very unique to hop around on the surface with. Very bright, very peaceful. Wish those holes were deeper though. And some lava flows would be nice to observe from a pleasant cliff side. But such features will be added~ Hopefully.
  8. This is probably the most important thing about the sales . Visibility
  9. I will neither confirm nor deny any inspiration from said film. But yes.
  10. After days of secret construction, the enlistment of 11 brave (or perhaps stupid) kerbalnauts (including the great jebediah), Aurora Corp's secret "project 4", the Forbidden Liberty, is complete and ready to set sail to Moho. Destined to rebuild the companies prestige and put it once again at the forefront of kerbal based spacey stuff, this assymetrical monster is going full speed ahead!
  11. Solid fuel is best used for sheer power in atmosphere. A very good design combined with asparagus launchers and winglets can get 50T anywhere from 50,000km - 80,000km sub-orbit. (lower quality launchers can easily reach 10k or 20k) At which point you just switch to liquid fuel and complete the turn. And plus those smoke plums are just sexy.
  12. The Light Before Dawn is making my first manned (kerbal'd?) expedition to Eve. Fuel issues required a daring head on nose dive deep into Eve's atmosphere to slow the **** down and pray to the kerbal gods that we could make orbit.. Early entry was shaky, but uneventful Until of course, we turned into a flaming fireball that was brighter then Kerbol. But with a nudge or two from the fuel deprived engines, We make orbit and begin reassembly for mapping of the surface, and a long term fuel hub for future kethene mining And when its all said and done, we go on EVA!
  13. Could I get a flag involving a rendition of an Aurora with a (medium-to-large) raven like bird in-front of it and soaring towards it? Color Scheme being mostly winter/cool colors with contrasts of orange and reds? It's fine if its simple, I enjoy simplicity Example of Raven image; Thanks!
  14. Would love to know the actual numbers of the weight capacity for the thing
  15. How 'bout a binary moon pair orbiting the next gas giant? Perhaps orbiting close enough to one another you could "jump" from one atmosphere into the other. Would force players to figure out how to geosynchronous orbit over either moon. Or risk crashing into is twin. Another possibility is perhaps a moon with a 90 degree inclination to the galactic plane.
  16. Just a few flags from an old RP i did. Decided to re-purpose them!
  17. I'm new to KSP, and I've recently put the first 2 parts of my first space station into orbit around Kerbin. Despite a nasty off balance lift off, and hitting some debris on my way into orbit with the core module. (Absolutely terrible luck!) I was able to get it into a high circular orbit with help from mechjab planning the ideal route. I followed up with putting my solar-power-section into orbit with a thankfully much less eventful launch and circularized it with the station core. Its now the same inclination and less then a kilometer lower in altitude of the station core. But here's the problem, they're moving almost exactly the same speed with the solar array about a 100,000km "in front" of the core. And I have no idea how to get them next to one another for docking without utterly destroying one or the others orbit, which would force me to relaunch a new vehicle. I've looked at several tutorial videos and I've found very little insight on how to solve this problem. If anyone could give me some instruction, I would be most appreciative. Thanks, -Spyke Related photo:
  18. Well, ya know, Jeb would of definitely done what his platform said he would do. And that's solve the problem. The consequential problems? Well he'll solve them to. "City on fire? SHOOT IT INTO SPACE
