I don't know if it's only on my KSP, but i've a bug with the 6 way coupling where 2 of the sides refuse to couple. Screenshoot : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2014/12/1395586612-screenshot95.png Two other questions: - when building something with the habitat / greenlab / kerballab / observation, is there a way to know which side is up in IVA ? - where is the button to open the window shield of the observation module ?

[WIP] Green Skull Inc. Development Thread
ndiver replied to Green Skull's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Is it Ben Kerbflec in the famous Kerbal movie Kerbalgeddon ? -
Two rovers inspired by the famous Caterpillar rover : The Beetle, basically a smaller version of the Caterpillar The problem for this rover is the huge weight of the cupola (4.5t) in regards with the hitchhiker can (2.5t). I plan to put on this rover a KAS / Infernal Robotics arm. Two mods used : MechJeb and ScanSat The Amphipod, a tiny rover following the same concept, again MechJeb + ScanSat I will possibly modify it to put a docking port on the top, as it is currently not transportable by a skycrane ... @helldiver : can we fix easily wheels on your "yellow submarine" ? It would make an interesting rover looking like the Small Pressurized Rover from the NASA (linked to the Space Exploration Vehicle, extremely close to your small tug)

Thanks, i did not realized ! I need to put glasses
-
On my side, i'm hoping a version with lighter textures, because currently KSO is around 200Mb big ...

I was using a relatively similar system for small probes. The main difference being that i eject the jet engines and air intakes once they shut down : Here is the screen http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2014/08/1393077441-screenshot22.png

Yes, the nodes on the two extremities of this piece are non functioning. It's what i said

Hi Lack, i've a problem with the part Large Cargo Box, that does not fix properly on its extremities. Any idea of what could be the problem ? Other point, there is no hull for the MkIV Buster, especially as the Large Cargo Box has a problem. See this picture : Edit : 1) a friend told me i can't use the LCB like that, 2) i was not using the LLL full last version where i found a hull for the Mk4

Thanks for this answer I understand the question of the licence and thanks the authors who agreed with your project. I'm really waiting for the first release version, the preview published by Chaka Monkey systems are absolutely impressive and beautiful. You make a great job
-
That would make sense. I did knew the LER rover. That's what i was looking for ! The sides of the rover (and the antenna as you mention) seem to come from the LLL pack. And i recognized the ALCOR. That's becoming more and more tricky to identify the pieces of modcrafts
-
By curiosity, as i'm impressed by the pictures i saw in this topic, will you release all the re-texturing in the same time or will you release them progressively ? I'm also quite curious to know which mods you used for your rovers. I guess this mod will be a must-have when it will be released

Which mod is this vehicule ?

Can i suggest one or more intermediate variants between the Munshine IV and V ? The gap from 22 to 55 tons is a bit large from my point-of-view. Two variants of 32 and 42 tons might be useful, and realized either by downgrading the Munshine V, either by upgrading the Munshine IV. And the best : that's eco-friendly by avoiding to send to space unnecessary resources from our precious Kerbin

C'est beau I will keep looking this mod, especially if it can transport 6 Kerbals as the original one ! -

SPACE STATIONS! Post your pictures here
ndiver replied to tsunam1's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
My first outpost outside Kerbin. It's greatly inspired by the real ISS and will relatively follow its structure. Fixed to the strut, you can see my small tug used to grab and fix the newly arrived modules. Each module is independent, so i could reorganize everything in the future (or trash an outdated module). I prefer the Fustek docking ports (in regards with the stock ones) as they allow EVA in case of problem and avoid any Kerbal stuck in a module. The station is currently a bit small, as there are only 4 beds in the Habitation module, all used, and the station can currently only hosts vessels equipped with their own beds (as the KSO). It is currently composed of: - one Habitation module (with the 3 windows) for 4 Kerbals - one Karmony node - one Utility module - another node with fixed on it a Kupola, a Pressurised mating adaptor and an airlock (to EVA easily next to a vessel) - one strut - one tug The next steps will be: 1) to bring another node next to the current Habitation module 2) to connect on this node two Science modules and another Habitation Module 3) to update the solar panels (to make them more distant from the core of the station, as I'm afraid to crash the tug on the current panels) 4) to bring an ERV (Emergency Reentry Vehicule) I use the following mods: - Fustek Station Parts - THSS - Tri-Hexagonal Structural Strut - International construction ISS in Kerbal orbit - Kerbin Shuttle Orbiter - MechJeb -
Nice to see the effect of the KSO release Do you expect to make your pieces compatible with it ? Concerning the payload volume, i can suggest to compare with the modules from Fustek or the ones from the ISS model (that are a bit too big for the KSO). Like that it could look like the Spacelab in the Space Shuttle

[WIP] KerbChaser - Kerbal Dreamchaser Project
ndiver replied to martinezfg11's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
It would be interesting to make this mod compatible with the KSO that was released two days ago I was looking for a Dreamchaser and an Hermès spacecraft but nothing up to now. -
Thanks guys for the suggestions @Kommitz : your pieces are quite nice. As it was done on the THSS, you could use the internal part of the strut to put some fuel or monoprop. As the THSS are now reworking on my computer (i still don't get was what the problem), here is what i did yesterday evening (it will be the base of the space station) : As you can see the large strut will be used in a similar way than on ISS
-
Thanks Talisar, i will take a look at it Yesterday, i totally removed the Fustek parts initially downloaded using the link on the main post of the thread related to it, and installed the one obtained by the Spaceport, and strangely the adaptors are now working properly. And i sill don't get why ... I also had a look at the ISS modeling and the strut is really big and usable for large space stations. I'm not a huge fan of the Mir-like stations or fuel-stations we usually have in KSP. The ISS style is more interesting IMHO.
