  1. Yes, you put on the stackable Quantum Core, which looks like the stock ASAS unit (unless you have the re-model pack). That gives you 8 deployable quantum struts, to be welded by your Kerbals in EVA...
  2. Whoever tells me the name of that mod shall receive 50000 internet bananas! That's Cabana Corp.'s entire rayroll resource pool for our monkey staff!
  3. Fixed those up for you... Also- impressive... Where'd you get the radiator things (what I presume the grey solar panel looking-things are)?
  4. As. Do. I... Though I've been required to tone rendering to half so I can actually do anything whatsoever... Anyways, some more pics coming up soon of Hades Station. And maybe even of the SoI-T (Sphere of Influence Transfer) Booster Array (I need to update the blueprints to current Cabana Corp. parts) and a small fuel station higher up that would function as a small space-dock until Olympus is assembled...
  5. Bah... Lightweight... Hades Station has like 500+ on it's own, without any docked ships... Currently it's at just under 700 with my utility/transport ship docked...
  6. You can make a utility craft with a bunch of weldable strut deployers...
  7. I am indeed somewhat technical when I choose to be... Thanks for taking it on... Maybe direct your attention to the Cabana Corp. Official Outsourcing thread? It's in this subsection somewhere...
  8. Hey there! Ban-Anad here, sole owner and proprietor of Cabana Corp R&D speaking! As it has come up in discussions with some customers, Cabana Corp's own staff of bright, albeit simple, engineers and scientists is good at many things. One of the things they are not good at however is handling pencils, or producing any sort of 3D art. Though I am assured by HR that could change (the Misapplied Sciences Division says the timescale of such a leap would be in the millions of years). That is why the Board has unanimously decided to begin an outsourcing project in order to meet public demands for "cooler looking" products. Any modellers applying for the position will be employed on a freelance basis. Payment will be made in bananas due to Financial Branch reluctance to spend on two resource pools when it comes to remuneration. Freelance modellers will also be mentioned in product manuals and advertisements. Modellers will work closely with Cabana Corp. engineers in order to provide the best balance between technical functionality and design, and are encouraged to voice their opinions whenever they feel necessary. However, I take this opportunity to advise against trying to feed Cabana Corp. monkeys peanuts. Reasons classified. Should any questions arise, I shall be fully available to answer them. I am instructed by both HR and PR to say that the following is indeed fact: Cabana Corp employed monkeys are here under their own volition and are paid in kind, in a form of their choosing- as it happens it's bananas. Employed monkeys are in no way a threat to any person and are indeed quite friendly unless provoked, provided with peanuts, or if someone forgets to refill the coffee machine on a slow Monday. *Off microphone* Is that all? Yes? Good. What? No, I'm not reading that! Ahem... Ban-Anad, out!
  9. Ban-Anad here, owner and proprietor of Cabana Corp. I know that, concerned customer! We would love to apply our own staff in making varied designs, yet monkeys with pencils has proven to be... a hazard not covered by our insurance (hence the Board-wide decision on using etch-a-sketch for any blueprints and note-keeping) . Be assured however, Cabana Corp. is doing everything it can in securing a stable outsourcing for design concepts. As told before, Cabana Corp. engineers are putting their all into making all provided products as stable as possible. Another message from PR- I am being assured, our monkey staff are apparently quite skilled in many fields, in their own way. This is me, Ban-Anad- out! *slams forehead into studio lighting fixture* Dammit, who put that there?!
  10. Hey there, Ban-Anad- owner and sole proprietor of Cabana Corp R&D, Coming with the next update will be Cabana Corp.'s, Thermopile thermo-electric generator! Patent pending. The generator will come in rover, two probe sizes and a stackable 2.5m version for your everyday rocket needs. v0.04 will also see the end of Lynx and Mongoose lines of ION engines, and the arrival of the new, much more "efficient" (our PRs told us that word was important to use, read- less power, "better" resource use) Pegasus line. The Squirrel will remain as the work... rodent of the company. This recent change most definitely did not come after several complaints by customers and pilots regarding a supposedly "inevitable" spin caused by the high Isp-to-thrust ratio of the ION engines and an issue related to installing them on nacelles, rather than on the main body of vessels. At first, PR tried to rule it as a feature, coining "artificial gravity" as a term but I would have none of that! I take my gravity organic! None of that "concentrate" stuff, ew... This message brought to you by- Monkeys! Making up 90% of scientists and test pilots in the Cabana Corp. R&D's divisions. Oh... PR wants me to say this for some reason... Cabana Corp. engineers are always hard at work (almost a full day every week, not consecutively...) to improve on our products. Well, this is all... Ban-Anad out!
  11. The loading bar also shows which part it's trying to load, so telling us that can also help... Also, I don't think the game loads internals if there's no part to associate them with...
  12. Cool as is for cooling purposes, or just something... cool-looking? In either case- I'll take 'em both! Yes, radial atmospheric engines are... Good. Needed indeed... But a stack-mounted version would also be nice... Maybe one part for the High/Low Pressure and combustion chambers and another for the actual turbines/exhaust? I'm thinking along the lines of the Buran airbreather from TyberDyne...
  13. How many sub-folders does your Parts folder have? It might just be them getting too many for the game to handle correctly...
  14. Can a bright monkey maybe craft me a model for the Wraith MkII engine in my parts package? I "want" it to look something derived from the Pratt & Whitney F119 (found on the F-22 Raptor), but anything cool would do. If possible, can said bright monkey also make a model for the MkI variant? This one resembling the P&W F100.
  15. Yes, that would be the one... It would really make attaching larger than stock ports easier... I know they're surface attachable, but oft-times they tend to be facing the wrong way... In any case, you can of course give it the FusTek classy feel!
  16. I bring you! Cabana Corp. R&D's Hades Station! Pirouetting casually at a LKO of about 400km, Hades Station is where all that valuable Research happens for the Cabana Corporation. Currently playing host to a mission to the Mun, docked are the O.R.C MkII/TC (Orbital Rescue/maintenance Craft, Troop Carrying version) with a rover payload and a SpaceBus (intended for orbital transportation only, though a "Landing Capability Enhancer" can be added at a later stage). To come are four Hab modules (Base-kit inflatables, to be docked "above" the deflated station ring, where the SpaceBus is) and a larger research wing (to be placed near the lit Cupola at one end), after which the station ring will be deployed. Current part count (with everything docked) is at 700... Projects after Hades is complete: Olympus Space Dock, to rest at 2,000~3,000 km. Munar Orbital Observation Post "Artemis"- LMO 60~70 km Dionysus Orbital Refuelling Post- HKO 20~25,000 km HELIOS Array- A massive solar plant that would circle the Kerbal System's Sun at an orbit of about 4~5,000,000 km.
  17. Hmmm... May I also request something? Can you maybe make a bigger version of the Radial Attachment point?
  18. My modelling skills are... well... Vacant, really... Though I might fiddle round after my exams are over... Thing is, I don't really see the need for "my" parts to look any different... I mean, there's only so many designs an overcharged hypersonic intake can have (for example), and I quite like how the stock one looks...
  19. Hmmm... They don't explode on my end... Which ones are you talking about? The Squirrel or smaller Lynx?
  20. You can say that regarding a lot of mods and parts packs, so what's your point? Yes, the fuel scoop is broken. It's intended to be. But if you wanted unlimited fuel- there's the debug console, so you can't really say it's a "cheat". The XR-2 multi-intake functions inly in atmosphere, so that kinda balances it out (as well as the fact that the actual fuel/oxidizer flow from it is more of a trickle)... The ION engines do drain a lot of Xenon and EC- even with several scoops/intakes, they'll still be going down... Plus, they can only be used in vacuum so you can't have them as your main lifter... You can't really say the Wraith engines are "cheat parts" as they aren't that big of a thrust jump from the stock jets. The ballast tanks I don't see as cheats... How is fine-tuning your CoM a cheat? It's the same as with fuel tanks, only you're not carrying so much weight around. The PORK is a bit cheaty, but it's intended to be used for mainly aesthetic purposes. Yes, it does have the Intake Air capacity of 20 stock Ram intakes, but that's just like putting said 20 intakes... Airhogging is a "legit" practice, so why not have the same result with a bit more... sense. You don't really see fighter jets littered with a bunch of hypersonic intakes, do you now? If it makes you feel better, I'll get rid of the fuel scoop...
  21. I'm feeling some enmity here... I'll continue working on this regardless, but I'd feel much better if I knew people were at least glancing at it... <- Sad monkey...
