What software are you using? And how do you make that camera shaking? More quick-fire questions in the pipeline.

Thanks for this. I enjoyed it a lot.

Kerbals! The KETSA (KErbonautical Triangularia Space Agency) proudly presents a short compilation of the socalled unmanned "Nosiness" missions. Details: What at first was planned as a row of missions up to 7 fligths turned to a pizza- and coke-depeleting count of 14 liftoffs until the mission goals were accomplished. Enjoy! Nosiness 1, Aslaug I rocket with Kerbosphere I payload. Suborbital trajectotry with Ap of 94.344 meters, mission succeeded Nosiness 2, Aslaug I rocket with Kerbosphere I payload. Suborbital trajectotry with Ap of 324.129 meters, mission failed Nosiness 3, Aslaug II rocket with Kerbosphere I payload. Suborbital trajectotry with Ap of 80.078 meters, mission failed Nosiness 4, Aslaug IIa rocket with Kerbosphere I payload. Unable to leave atmosphere, mission failed Nosiness 5, Aslaug III rocket with Kerbosphere I payload. Satellite Advance I depolyed in equatorial Kerbin orbit, mission succeeded Nosiness 6, Aslaug III rocket with Kerbosphere I payload. Satellite Advance II depolyed in polar Kerbin orbit, mission succeeded Nosiness 7, Aslaug III rocket with Kerbosphere II payload. Suborbital trajectory with Ap of 401.205 meters, mission failed Nosiness 8, Aslaug III rocket with Kerbosphere IIa payload. Vessel destroyed at staging last stage, mission failed Nosiness 9, Aslaug IV rocket with Kerbosphere III payload. Satellite Advance III deployed in random Kerbin orbit after last stage detonation, mission partially succeeded Nosiness 10, Aslaug IVa rocket with Kerbocube I payload. Staging test flight, mission succeeded Nosiness 11, Aslaug IVa rocket with Kerbocube I payload. Electricity shortage, mission aborted Nosiness 12, Aslaug IVb rocket with Kerbocube Ia payload. Satellite Kersat I deployed in kerbostationary orbit, mission succeeded Nosiness 13, Aslaug IVb rocket with Kerbocube Ia payload. Satellite Goofy I deployed in münar orbit, mission succeeded Nosiness 14, Aslaug IVb rocket with Kerbocube Ia payload. Satellite Goofy II deployed in minmüsian orbit, mission succeeded http://www.crosswood.de/downloads/ksp/KETSA%20-%20Nosiness.mp4 -Kia

Found the game in a very kerbalish way. I stumbled over it on Steam by accident. I was completely bored and scanned for something new. And then. There. Was. A. Green. Kerbonaut. On. This. Picture. I was not able to resist. I forgot to wear my aluminum protection hat when the picture whispered "buy me... buy me... BUY ME...". I was susceptible to mind control by that little green Kerbonaut. And so I bought the game. By accident. It just happened.

I'll try it in other words. If your vessel is in an orbit around a planetary body, it it accelerated towards the gravity center. If your kinetic energy (means your velocity) and the acceleration towards the gravity center are in balance, the orbit doesn't change. When applying acceleration prograde (means doing a burn) the directions of burn (vessel acceleration), direction of gravity and actual energy of your vessel (velocity) add up to a new equilibrium of velocity and gravitational acceleration. In your picture this new vector results in a change of the axis (the eccentricity) on the other side of the orbit. Maybe this makes it more plausibel:

0.19.1 and reaching for the 300-hours-line-of-playing

Two crashs in 290 gaming hours. Both did not produce a crash log. Vanilla.

Then. I don't cheat. Never used quicksave btw. If a mission fails, it fails.

Is Kerbonaut-Name-Editing = cheating?

On one of my first EVAs on the Mün, I recognized, that one can do funny jump-pirouettes by walking ahead, changing direction to the left or right and simultaneously jump up. Jebediah made the longest EVA in herbalkind's history just jumping around trying to do as much rotations as possible without hitting münar ground to hard. jump around - jump around - jump up - jump up and get down!!!

It's something like the 10th day of flooding in bavaria and saxonia. Elbe river is now pushing large amounts of water northwards to Hamburg. Such a lot of devastation. Today at least two embankments where destroyed by the water today. Havelland is going to drown right in the moment. Such a damned mess. I wish all the best to the people fighting the floodings, stay strong, don't give in, stand, hold the lines. I hope, the red cross does the best with my donation.

Geostationary Orbit
Kialar replied to DreadedEntity's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Maybe this thread helps: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/16653-Geostationary-Orbit Can't reach the wiki, but the Kerbin-Document there holds information about the geostationary orbit. -
Connecting Docking Port to Multi-Point Connector
Kialar replied to kirby677's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Rotate the docking port by 90°. Then rotate the camera down in a way that you see the port from the side, attach the port sideways to the node. If this wasn't clear enough, tell, I will make some pics showing the workflow. -

I am interested, too.

I think the developed a curiositocracy. There are some devitatives of it. 1) The kerboblic curiositocracies, where everyone may be curious and kind of, erm, scientific. Kerboblicstic Gouvernements accept the existance of even and odd numbers. 2) The kermonistic curiositocracies, where everone MUST be curious. Science is not necessary. Kermonists denie the existance of odd numbers, because all numbers are equal. 3) The karnarchistic curiositocracies, where curiosity is by definition "being nosy beyond all reason". A typical karnarchist states, that there are only odd numbers, because even numbers may be constructed out of a set of odd numbers. 4) The kictatoric curiositocracies, where the most inquisitory kerbal is master of desaster, as long as it survives. Kictators don't need numbers. They need results. I think that's is.

How long until you learned to orbit?
Kialar replied to Spaceisbeautifulul's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It depends, what one calls an orbit. Getting something out of atmosphere that then tumbles in an elliptical so-called "orbit" with random inclination? Some gaming hours. Reaching an orbit, that deserves the name and is something like near that what I wanted it to be? A week of intense playing. Planing it, reaching AE und PE as intended and the inclination I wanted to have with ressources left for further progress? Roughly 75% of the attempts right now after 300 hours of play. To the Mün it took me some 3 or 4 days, but with a totally unreasonable amount of fuel, fully brute force. Going to Mün or Minmus, land there and get back is routine for me now. Duna and Eve are on the edge of routine with a high chance of success. Getting to Jool has a quite random character, as with its moons. -
GEMA really stresses my nerves. Sorry, gets political right now. Those suckers.

Having trouble fying docked ships
Kialar replied to OUScooby's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
OUScooby: I guess we have a similar issue here. Do you agree? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/31197-Rocket-parts-slide-into-each-other
