  1. Damn, I was trying not to jizz in my underpants. They're new.
  2. I am extremely proud of this. First Mun landing. Jeb seems extremely happy, even though he can't get into his lander without RCS.
  3. A lot of my big ships have detachable cockpits with boosters to get them out of hairy situations, and I put drone cores on EVERYTHING to make sure it's flyable before I put a Kerbal in.
  4. INTERESTING DESCRIPTION THAT ACCURATELY DESCRIBES THE COMPANY AND OUR GOALS -------- Boar Class - Armored Transport The Boar is a light armored transport and rover, for both military and civilian use. It has room for four Kerbals and a driver, in a sheltered inner section. The rear of the Boar has two ion drives for swift movement. There is also a ladder mounted on the top, allowing Kerbals to get a vantage point or climb a ledge. The front of the Boar features two extendible "tusks", inspiring the Boar's name. They are not very useful for flipping craft, but are designed to push through debris without it smashing into the body of the transport. The wheels of the Boar are supplied with power from two light power generators, and a small solar array. Craft file coming soon! -------- My favorite (and the only completed) variant of the Boar, the Kerbtyusha class Rocket Artillery Platform! For the motherland, kermrades! The Kerbtyusha is named after an ancient artillery weapon from a planet beyond the Kerbol system. It dispenses glorious communism from four different ports, and can be reloaded through a long and annoying process that I really should fix. For power, the Kerbtyusha has batteries below the armor plating, and solar panels for recharging. The landing legs seen here are used to stabilize the craft for firing. As you can see, Kermrade Jebed-ivan loves the Kerbtyusha and rocket propelled communism! -------- More coming soon! I have to take some screenshots of proper ships.
  5. Skip to the part where he makes a big rover. Those parts are some of the ones missing. Also, I tried loading one of the ships that comes with this mod, and it was missing a whole bunch of parts. A huge list. You can't tell me the latest update took out everything but the cockpits.
  6. Not sure if this is a bug or I'm just stupid, but almost all the parts I see in screenshots are missing. I can get cockpits, some random stuff, but that's about it.
  7. Better ion engines, so I can have solar powered vessels that consist of more than three parts. "Big" nuclear engines for strapping to the back of orange tanks. Part aesthetic updates. Some of the things, looking at you cockpits, look rather outdated.
  8. I'll have you know I have landers on Eve, Duna, and Laythe, but I have never landed on Mun, not once.
  9. I solid fuel booster'd a refueling rover into a rocket.
  10. Something's lagging me in 0.20 or 2.0 or whatever this update is called. Some mods stalled the loading screen, so I searched for and removed them, but I've easily got 200+ parts in mods and I want them all gone. How do I do this?
  11. I can orbit things just fine, but it's easier to get it into an orbit that can rendesvousz (Is that correct?) with another ship using mechjeb's help and readout type things. If I don't need something at a specific altitude, I do it myself. If not, mechjeb assists me. I also need it for moon (not Mun, I refer to all ingame moons here.) and planet landing assistance. That and the radial mechjeb unit looks badass. Getting to Mun without mechjeb is amazing, although rather hard. When I first installed KSP, I knew about mechjeb and I promised myself I'd atleast crash on Mun before using it.
  12. A handy tip is to put the boosters on radial decouplers attached to the wingtips. The ship won't get into an orbit beyond 80km (usually), but it can get into orbit for refuelling.
  13. "Large pink mammals, I will call down a thousand discarded stages upon you if you don't let me go!" -- In other news, I call the galaxy "Kerbos".
  14. I tried, good sir Ray, to use parachutes. They failed. I then tried to use rockets. My lander exploded.
  15. Thanks for the help, if you could call it that. My main problems are managing to circularize (is that a word?) the Mun orbit, or balance the fuel-to-lift ration to actually make it on an intercept course with Mun. Oh, and actually landing slow enough to not shatter on impact.
  16. I'm trying to get a rover there to do some Kethane scans and exploration, but no luck so far.
  17. Kerbin is pretty much the only planet I've ever "gotten" to. In a tragic accident, Orbital Station Barclay accidentally hit Eve while orbiting Kerbol (the sun), but I don't think that counts. I'm working on getting Rovers to Mun and Eve. EDIT - By gotten to, I'm actually being slightly serious. I've gone all the way arround it three times, polar once and equatorial twice, and once made a space station that could launch rockets back down to KSC.
