My graphics card just started crying.

That is exactly my hypothesis, and it appears to be correct. I've still had no issues with it so far, so I think by this point it's safe to permanently white list this one in Webroot. If my computer explodes in the next few days... Sucks.

After playing for a few hours, there seems to be no issue. I've been virus scanning the crap out of my system, with no evil trojans detected. I guess Webroot could have blacklisted Watch Dogs in general. Future updates to come.

Hey everyone, So I know the pirated version of Watch_Dogs was rumored to be infested with a nice little trojan. Being very protective of my PC, after buying the game (legitimately - I'm not a pirate), I decided to run a virus scan just to make absolutely sure... I know that's overkill, but it's my SOP with all new games and especially one with a reputation such as this. It came up with one threat. watch_dogs.exe - W32.Trojan.Gen Does anyone know why this would be? I did some Googling and found that the trojan people had seen was usually Winlogin.exe, a fake version of Winlogon.exe that would open all kinds of nasty back doors. But the actual game EXE file itself? I tried launching the game and it worked just fine, so I'm not sure why my computer is bringing this up as a trojan. Does anyone know why this might be happening? By the way, I use Webroot as my security program, but I also have a copy of Titanium that can be installed for a second look if necessary. Thanks!

That always upsets me too...

Ignore this if you like, but I must caution you. That's a beautiful X52 throttle you've got there. I have the X52 Pro, which is essentially the same thing, but black. And it does NOT function as intended. The throttle curve is really messed up in KSP for this particular device. No one seems to know why. Just thought I'd give you a heads-up in case you didn't know.

I keep it out of the red. A Pe of 25k or so will usually do the trick, and since I always run an unmanned test of all my rockets before any manned (kerballed?) flight is attempted, it's usually not too much of a deadly problem. Ever since my new save, I've only lost one kerbal, and it was my brave test pilot of a new spaceplane.

How many times has the kraken happened to you?

Warp shakes and phantom forces, back in their respective days, killed more of my ships than any engineering failures on my part ever did -
Performed a test of my new ion-powered glider, the Circumnavigator I. This thing carries over 1600 Xenon and 1600 electric charge, with solar panels that give the craft a zero discharge rate even at full power during the day and keep the aircraft charged well into the night. It cruises at a whopping 28 m/s.

Launched mission 002A today: A test launch of my medium-distance probe, Traveler Mk I.

They don't have a clue. Who knows how many new features this game will eventually have? It's impossible to tell.

Alright, I finally understand everything now. But you would think they could at least make a year be exactly 426 days... Then I get less OCD breakdowns when the sunrise/sunset time is off
-
Same, and I also disabled it. But wait, I may have missed something that I'm just now realizing. Since I now have the game set to 24-hour days and 365-day years... Does that mean that the sun rises/sets four times in each "day?" And does it mean that Kerbin actually performs more than one complete orbit in each "year?" I thought the game would compensate for this... Now I'm torn between the two...
-
Isn't it already? Or are the two different measures of time completely misaligned?
-
Started my new save file up. One of the first things I did was design the Surveyor-I light jet. This jet can be flown as an unmanned probe, or with up to two kerbals onboard. You can see Bill riding in the external passenger seat, while Jeb sits in the cockpit. The duo is about to launch into the sunrise and go to the Old Airfield, where a small crew recovery base will eventually be assembled. A green control tower means that aircraft on the runway and in the area are free to do as they please. A yellow tower means caution, usually due to an upcoming launch or important flight, and a red tower means the airspace is closed. As this was the first manned flight of my new save file, the airspace was clear as could be.

6-hour days and 400-something-day years? How strange... I was very confused when my first launch of my new save file (a high-orbit satellite to detect incoming ballistic Class-E space rocks of death) displayed a mission time of almost a week. I thought it was a glitch, but every ship I launched did the same thing, and eventually I found the option to switch back to normal time, which I did. I'm just very used to how long a mission should take. Does anyone know exactly why they did this? Or was it just a "why the heck not?" action by Squad? I'm not particularly mad about its existence or anything, since it can be very easily reverted, I'm just wondering if there was any particular reason for putting it in the game, and especially for making it the default setting.

O.O Interesting... Foreshadowing?

Alright, we all know the aerodynamic physics, as they apply to spaceplanes, kinda suck at the moment (I know it's a planned fix, don't attack me for whining). But so far, I've only used them as a local transportation system around KSC and in the immediate area for crew recovery. Are the lift/flight dynamics/etc the same on Duna as they are on Kerbin? Obviously the gravity would be different, but is there any other difference?

Tonight, I begin my first serious project on the new machine!

I think my framerate in Chrome dropped a little bit just from my graphics card catching sight of that vessel -

That's a slideshow producer if I ever saw one... I have a tendency to leave my video card turned way down until my first launch... At which point, my framerate of about 4/second serves as a nice reminder that my ATI Radeon HD 7770 has all the video processing power of a medium-sized refrigerator when on lowest settings. -
I think I found something new in KSP .23.5!

Actually, I just found this out a few minutes ago, through an accidental right-click of the wrong object. Very interesting little hidden gem (not so hidden anymore though)
