  1. My first attempt to making a tank.Pretty heavy armored, that plates are hard.Full traverse turret, 15 tons and can move at 20-30m/s.It looks pretty good without armor, would be a nice buggy. As i said, this is just armor-stripped.That's why i left the side-skirt supports on.
  2. I was pushing >100 ton transfer stages with one nuclear engine. It takes a lot of time to do burns, but it is effective.Usually i put a big tank in the middle, a nuclear engine under it, put some smaller tanks on 2 times symmetry on the other tank with smaller and smaller tanks on ton of them, i copy them and put them again on 2 times symmetry between the other 2 tanks so i don't have to trow them away at the same time.If my rockets don't have atleast 8km Delta V i am not sending them in interplanetary missions, even if i am going to trow away most of the fuel. Like this:
  3. Why do you have so many nuclear engines?Make your mind, you want trust or efficiency? You don't have either when you spam nuclear engines.
  4. New design: Charlotte Yeager.I used a whole new engine design style for this one. This is how the engines look like.I used Tail Connectors put them like that.
  5. Where can i download this texture from?I tryed the whole day to find a link or atleast find the name.
  6. Both my Clostermann and my Sakamoto weight around 70 tons fully loaded and i didn't really tested how much weight they can handle. So far i only brought 10 additional tons to orbit.Lucchini is 14 tons and can't really carry anything.Maybe 1 additional ton, but nothing more. And i too set my controls realistically.
  7. Wrong. He gave me the mod that replaces the textures, not the texture itself.Pay more attention next time.
  8. What texture pack are you using, exactly. That looks amazing.
  9. I guess this plane would be called 'Pewbol' in their language.
  10. I have an interesting idea. What if i put... a Lucchini on a Clostermann?I could send Lucchini to Duna. Well, it IS going to be an SSTO, but i don't think you can actually consider it a single stage to another planet.Well, i'm fine with a 'double stage' as long as i actually get to send a plane to Duna.
  11. And i landed. This one can go home by itself, but i have other 2 'landed' Clostermanns that weren't as fortunate on landing as the 3rd design.I will have to send a Lucchini for each of the crew members.I will put a small capsule behind the engine, Lucchini is too fast and turns too violently (around 8G) for external seats.
  12. I had to rework the tail, the last design wasn't really stable. All good. [jeremyclarkson]THE SPEED.THE SPEEEEED![/jeremyclarkson] Ok, all good.Huh, this actually wor- OH GOD. And turns out this think is an amazing glider when it's almost out of fuel.Right now i am gliding to where ever Clostermann wants to go. Ninja'd:Another Strike Witches fan, i see?Looks pretty good for your first SSTO, but you might want to rework your engines.I had a Charlotte Yeager design aswell, but the wings glitched out.You know, the old detached-part-that-multiplied-itself-a-few-times.I will have to restart the Yeager project.
  13. The main problem is that it starts to violently rotate and pitch up in reentry.I activated the back parachutes to recover from the flat spin, but that didn't happened so i activated all the parachutes at around ~1km from the ground. Any tips to prevent that?Lucchini is doing just fine in reentry.
  14. I updated the Clostermann. Now it has more fuel, i fixed the placement of the RCS ports, added more parachutes, added more struts and now it has its own little satellite probe. The Clostermann is pretty big. From 500m: At 1KM you can still see it pretty clearly And the landing was a bit better this time.
  15. I forgot, what mod do you use to modify the background/planets'/spacesuits' skins?
  16. New design. Finally, i made an SSTO that has everything. It is big, it can hold crew, it has TONS of RCS (which can be traded for more fuel, crew tanks or a bigger cargo bay), it can bring another ship (if i extend the cargo bay) or a satellite to orbit. Meet Clostermann. Entering the atmosphere with style. It started to pitch-up and rotate while in reentry. And hey!We saved it!Well, most of it atleast.
  17. I will see what i can do, a satellite might be an interesting addition. And no, the air intakes are right under the wings.Pretty subtle, easy to miss. I could try to add a small pod right behind the Sabre engine. And thanks.I can't build big spaceplanes, for some reason. All of them have a pitching-up problem.Lucchini was actually supposed to be a light weight, fast suborbital plane. Then i observed how powerfull the engine is.
  18. I made my first montage 1-2 weeks ago, but i never thought to post it here.It DOES look like the work of an amateur, but i'm proud of it. The game is Men of War Assault Squad. The song is Sisters of Mercy - Dominion. I had to cover a pretty long song, at point i run out of ideas. So, uh, tell me what you think.I think i'm going to do something for with the song 'Nuclear Attack' too.
  19. Meet Lucchini. This are pictures of the early version. Well, the real Lucchini seems to li- Don't give me that look. What's wrong with the spaceplane?Stop staring into my soul, damn it. Yes, i do have FAR.
