  1. is one of the engines thrusting onto a part underneath it ? i don't know what distances are necessary, but maybe rotate the rover 90 degrees so it's in in the engines thrust's way.
  2. Yup, easily moved into normal position. It's just a bit surprising when you open the file

I had a bit of a bug in between two versions, right now i've only seen it in the VAB not sure if any ships in space were affected but here it is: SA4-LFT (the long 1.25m tank) on top of a Wildcat V, the thrusters have all shifted about a meter into the tank since the previous version. Not quite sure what caused this, but the craft was from early september before the recently updated version...

How i go through a new version: 1- backup the whole directory 2- Install new stuff, copy saves in, look around the forums for known broken mods, copy working mod files 3- If mods bar you from using new version, play in old version (see 1) 4- Once mods work, enjoy. I think the only time i restarted a savefile was for 0.21 as i has too many landed assets and that's what got broken.

  6. Time magazine has a review done by a former shuttle astronaut. There are a few more interviews done with astronauts who've seen the movie. A lot of it doesn't stand considering inclinations and a few other things like the use of the MMU or the collision with the station (in the trailer) that would've breached a suit easily.   7. Oh my... Those kethane bugs... I just wanted to put my design here. Their close position is the result of an emergency RCS burn or they'd be on top of each other. Mechjeb precision at work...
  8. I let MechJeb do the landings, but that one time i considered going afk while it was landing, this struck: I had entered the same coordinates for landing as my other miner! So this is the result of a last-second RCS thrust in the right direction. One of the drills ends up less than a Kerman wide from touching the other miner's leg... This is why you lways attend to your auto-pilot.
  9. At first i was a bit skeptical... but i went from 2.78 GB Ram use with KW and other major parts packs to 2.3GB with B9 ADDED! Seriously i never thought i could put B9 back on this computer... OMG the planets in the loading indicator spin !?!
  10. KW just re-realeased an update that further reduces its memory footprint, so i don't know which one of you has the smallest one now... EDIT: Dat moment you see it linked on KW's page... nice one
  11. It looks like the 5m novapunch tank... That thing is so wobbly between the thruster and the tank even strutting the hell out of it with modded struts can't seem to make it stop... More launch clamps at the top, right now it looks like the bottom is taking all the weight.

  13. Installing the Redux Pack reduced my KSP by 300 MB! This makes a world of difference, Thank you !
  14. Could you put it on your first post ? Lite versions of the common parts packs are godsends for someone like me who runs on an old laptop (and that has to turn off all browser windows before loading anything close to 300 parts).

  16. Back with a smaller footprint ? It's no wonder i fly almost always with these parts on. EDIT: Someone actually had made a size-reducing patch of the set, those who had installed it should not forget to remove it EDIT2: For the love of Kod, remove the KW folder when updating!

  20. Mini Request, probably the only thing that bothers me in the whole parts set: Medium tanks Do not have a version with a second choice in end connectors. It has 1.25m, but could definetly use a 2.5m end. EDIT: And then it seems i've been running this with an older version

  22. I'm trying a few of your ships in the first post Pike and Heinlein IV are missing "advSASModuleToggle", i'm not sure what it is. Seems an artefact from pre-SAS redo. Razor has a strange ascent profile and i can't seem to get it right.. That's it for now, just some things i've experienced, they're great ships to fly
