  1. My Jeb? Currently stationed on a small two container base almost directly below the artifact there, along with Bob and Bill. They also somehow wrecked the transfer ship that was supposed to bring them home-I'll fling a supply ship their way some time soon.
  2. It's a great mod- I've created many a zany and crazy flying contraption with the mod. but I can't find it in career mode. Which node is it in?
  3. Works delightfully, gives a spark of activity during those 10 minute long burns. But, if I may make a suggestion, is there any way a Shepard tone can be incorporated? It seems apt and makes the hum more dynamic.
  4. I feel for you. I'm running on quarter textures and it's still kinda jittery. Still, I'm lookig forward to doing some more science. Any estimates on .22's release date yet?
  5. Mein Gott...that's terrifyingly awesome. Makes me wonder, though-interplanetary transfer possible?
  6. Watching one of his videos was what got me into KSP in the first place. Without him and his creative content, I think the farthest I could go was Munar orbit.
  7. It's the SU-47 Berkut, I think. The US of A also built a forward swept fighter prototype named the X-29.
  8. Wonderful. Genuinely wonderful. Can't wait for the next installment.
  9. Solution: Get out and push! Scott Manley did it, and I've done it once or twice when my Mun landings went awry.
  10. Yep. About halfway to Jool, just doin' fine. Just find stuff to do in the meantime, I suppose. It certainly doesn't diminish the fun.
  11. Just finished part 10, made me snigger in the middle of lecture. Oops. Still, totally worth it. Absolutely wonderful when you think about all the planning this took. Many thanks. Makes me wonder if Scott's seen this, though. Someone should poke him.
  12. Yep, fairly certain that footage was of Scott's take on the B9 Aerospace pack update. As good some publicity is, that's a bit of a blatant ripoff.
  13. Accidentally smushed my second unmanned Moho lander. The Ant engine was, perhaps, not the best choice at 12000 meters and 300m/s. But, on the other hand, I did manage to use my interplanetary third stage as a makeshift orbiter. So that's sort of good.
  14. *chuckling facepalm* We really fell into that one, didn't we? As good an idea as it is, KSP is still in development-granted, having people who actually work in the spaceflight industry contributing to the community would be at the apoapsis of awesome, wouldn't it?
  15. I named mine the Solaris Initiative, or Sol-In for short. Not sure why, just seemed to sound right.
  16. When Kerbal vocabulary inexplicably enters everyday conversation. "I think you need to burn retrograde a bit. An apoapsis that high can't be good for you." "Whadaya mean you can't get here faster? Asparagus your way, then!" And so on and so forth.
  17. Help! I can't find my jaw! That, sir, is truly epic and worthy of a developer acknowledgement. Very very well done.
  18. Just finished a 250 part station over 26 launches. At Laythe. That's over three weeks IRL time. *click* MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE luckily I did manage to hit save two launches ago. Thank goodness for backups.
  19. Personally, I do my best to keep them alive-ie: a tried and tested abort button, parachutes on every stage, probe test launches, etc. But accidents do happen and I've lost a fair dozen myself. I console myself with the fat that they went out doing what the did best.
  20. That looks absolutely brilliant. Kinda like if the VentureStar and the DARPA Falcon had a baby. It's an astonishing achievement and it's one I hope to get to soon. Congrats, mate!
  21. My Kod, I fell out of my seat laughing...
