  3. Maybe it was a bad idea to launch all the missiles at once... (The launcher flew back at like 30 m/s)
  4. ATTACK! Err, I mean: TEST THE CANNONS! So far, the turrets are capable of turning up to 100 degrees in both directions (left and right), and can change their pitch. Each one is loaded with 6 torpedoes. Oh, and it's 100% stock too.

  6. As it turns out, putting a boat on top of air intakes creates an extremely fast, stable, maneuverable, and fuel efficient speed boat! So hear it is: The RockSkipper boat/rover! Basically, the air intakes lining the bottom provide next to no water resistance, allowing this boat to travel many kilometers every minute! As a plus, it works at 4x physical time warp. Instructions: As said, it can reach around 100 m/s, but I only recommend that if you want a bunch of dead Kerbals and 20 air intakes bouncing up and down for eternity... So keep it at half throttle (50 m/s) for maximum safety (remember, it works at 4x warp). The RockSkipper includes all 4 of the original stock sensors, and 2 of the atmosphere scanning things (the old avionics package). As for roving, it's not very good at it, so don't go to fast and keep the SAS on at all times. The boat also has 2 Jr. docking ports on top for refueling (it was designed for a Laythe base). I am not exactly sure about its range, but I calculated about 300 Km, though I could be wrong.   9. When I played career mode, I tried to take my time. It's a lot more fun when you don't rush the tech tree by landing on the Mun on your third mission. I think everyone will be slowed down significantly once money is added.
  10. It's time for Laythe adventure #1! With a boat! Tests on Kerbin showed that the boat has a maximum speed of over 100 m/s, however the maximum "safe" speed is about 50 m/s, or half throttle. Finally, Wilcas Kerman had crossed the bay! The boat ate up a staggering 7 liters of fuel in the process.

  12. I just found out something new: While controlling a Kerbal on EVA, you can right click the pod and "store samples," without having to actually go in the pod.

  14. Well, it is time to send seven brave kerbonauts to Laythe, probably for life... (unless there is a problem, then they can return) All systems green! The window will provide a perfect last view of Kerbin. We have liftoff! Farewell boys! Having second thoughts? Well too bad, the escape tower was just jettisoned! No turning back now! To Laythe!
  15. I believe the only difference is that the they both provide the same torque, however the SAS is lighter...

  17. I don't have any debris around KSC, I don't like the clutter or the lag.

My current restrictions: -May not revert fight or quickload if a Kerbal dies (NOTE: Only deaths off of Kerbin count for this, I still like to fool around at KSC)(Also, I have permanent death on) -May not put Kerbals under excessive G-force, so no aerobraking directly at Laythe -All ships must be my own design -May not use the Kethane Mod -Kerbals must have a Hitchhiker crew container available if they must wait in a craft for a long period of time(For example, Kerbals cant leave Duna until the return window opens, but that takes months)

  20. Laythe, I'll be sending an armada of ships there shortly. First I will make a base and explore Laythe. Then phase 2 will be taking over the rest of the system!
