My thoughts on 0.22
ngianoplus replied to Whirligig Girl's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Something I would like explained is why nose cones help now? I know SQUAD didn't redo aero or drag. (I think) Anyways, Loving .22 so far! -
This is the first implementation of the tech tree/career mode and I have nothing to complain about until I play the update. That being said, I still won't complain until I hear what SQUAD says they are going to do to fix it. No I am not a fanboy, I am just as upset that updated aerodynamics, enhanced IVA, and resources aren't in yet, but patience has helped me along the way. The one thing I do not want to see is completion of the tech tree in 3-4 flights, that is ridiculous.

Kerbal RCS strength
ngianoplus replied to innovine's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I rather just see a power percentage. Perhaps set the max power with the shift and control keys? Just like a regular engine, and move accordingly. I love the high powered jetpack but for microgravity EVA, less power is optimal. -
How to make Kerbals awesomer.
ngianoplus replied to Whirligig Girl's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Keep in mind that the Kerbals are much smaller than a Human, thus the jetpack has to carry around a different amount of mass than the Apollo EVA suit. Personally I rather see the advancement of the jet pack rather than different types. Simple. No jetpack, possibly added benefits (such as running faster). Or a jetpack than is developed over time to become more powerful/efficient. -
Types of Science
ngianoplus replied to allmappedout's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I am pretty certain you can beam info back with a probe (no kerbal). What we don't know is if unmanned sample analysis is possible. Personally I would love to see it, however, I think having it be Kerbal only would give you an incentive to do manned missions. -

So are we getting these? I sure hope so. -
I believe that .25 will be a turning point for KSP. Can we agree that Career mode will be fleshed out in the next two updates (excluding .22; possible a chunk of .25 too)? In .15-.18 we had a major explosion of new features and eye candy (IVA, EVA, Planets/Moons, Docking, Probes, Electricity, Spaceplanes, re-done parts), .25 will be the start of a new era of eye candy and features. I predict that .25-.30 will be a huge leap for KSP. (Revamped aerodynamics/drag, reentry heat, resources and mining, Enhanced IVA/EVA, Weather/clouds, Cities) and Planetary upgrades (lava, geysers, revamp water?, craters, radiation). We could probably see 64-bit and multithreading in this period too. This is entirely speculation nor do I think every single feature mentioned will be included in the .25- .30 period. Edit: To answer your question .26 will have resources.

The thing I love about the out-dated tugs are that you can design your payload to work with it based on the limitations of your design. Kinda like real life, just more doing and less risk.

[Breaking News] SQUAD Streams are back!!!
ngianoplus replied to CpPolar268's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Yes it happened, it was a nice start but not a whole lot of new stuff. I learned that money will not matter in .22 and here is a new picture of the R&D facility- http://i.imgur.com/vLGyJxc.jpg -

[0.22] Shock absorbing landing legs V1.2 (21-11-2013)
ngianoplus replied to zitronen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
The devs need to take a look at this. They can learn so much from their wonderful modding community. -
What I'd like to know is how much they're streaming. I cannot go and I don't want to miss the .22 preview.

Is Burnout Paradise good? I like racing games, but I want to know because I might give it away.

Would you buy expansion packs for KSP? How much?
ngianoplus replied to ngianoplus's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Thank you for adding that! Yes, SQUAD is not going to release "3 meter DLC only 3.99!" or a couple of maps with zombies -

ngianoplus replied to ngianoplus's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I know, I am looking for the general consensus of the community on purchasing expansions or KSP -
Opps, I do apologize... this is embarrassing a duplicate thread! Please close this one.

ngianoplus replied to ngianoplus's topic in KSP1 Discussion
So am I, I am just wondering -
I am curious to see whether or not the community would buy expansions for KSP? Personally, I would be quick to buy any expansion for KSP if it was under 25 USD. EDIT: I am looking for the general consensus of the community on purchasing expansions or KSP EDIT2: Assume the expansion contains complete features such as, colonization, multiplayer, or terraforming In short, something you would want to pay for

[1.2] Procedural Fairings 3.20 (November 8)
ngianoplus replied to e-dog's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Perhaps, you could make a procedural heat shield? I feel like it would be helpful. Of course, waiting till reentry heat is added would make sense. Would you consider it?
