  1. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/46365-0-22-Hullcam-VDS-Added-Ordan-Telescopes-and-mapview-fix-Updated-25-Oct Its basicly the same deal.
  2. Even though the "hardcore" people don't like mechjeb's autopilot features I love them, without mechjeb I wouldn't be able to play ksp I like. I'm not a bad pilot, I've been to all the planets with stock. But that gets boring. I love to build large 400+ ships that my laptop just can't handle. Its hard to fly with the red text on your mission timer. As for those who think mechjeb is cheating.... Its not it still takes careful planning and construction to get somewhere. And even then mechjeb isn't the perfect pilot, I've had times mechjeb miscalculated and crashed my ships together while docking.
  3. I'm intending to go this route with the cameras, But as it stands I want to have a solid set of base features for the cameras. (As they function nicely as cameras) Before i get into the messiness of making them generate science from the real photos. This is due to me messing up a setting in the science definition file. Ill fix it next update, I'm currently awaiting a reply from Romfarer I messaged him to get some tips about opening windows with camera feed in them.
  4. Its a experiment ID you can assign for the ScienceExperiment module. I was planning to do this but i got beat to it. Oh Well.
  5. As I promised, I cleaned up my science station a little and set the resolution variable in the camera to 10. And took a shot of it. The shot I got.... Became my new desktop background. Id love to see what you guys can do with it. Bear in mind that I re-sized the photo to 5% of its original size. I also grabbed a shot of Kerbin to test out the camera before moving onto the station shot. Both images are in their full resolution unedited in a downloadable .zip. (For those who want to inspect the photo's without taking high res ones themselves.) Link to the .zip containing the photos. -This zip contains only the full sized version of the above pictures, Download at your own will. http://www./download/871ua0atjssqx5h/WallPaperSized_Images.zip Also Id like to know what features I should include with the cameras, before I move off the basics of the cameras. (Perhaps something along the lines of the docking camera from laser mod? That lets you preview the output also including buttons to change settings on the camera.)
  6. It takes the picture for you, look in the modfolder/plugins/plugindata/ltscience you should find your pictures there. Edit: (Avoiding double post.) Update! V1.4 -Cleaned up the code a bit. -Fixed action groups, (Tell me how it works for you.) -Added a resolution variable to the .cfg lines controlling the camera. (This lets you change screenshot size) -Implemented Dungchunker's Fixed radio model rotation. -This may cause complications -Changed the way screenshot saving is done, You no longer need a .cfg inside the screenshot folder. This may or may not fix some issues with people. Ill return with a super high resolution of my science station i built using skylabs.
  7. Sounds like a bug, I was really tired when i released the update and I didn't do much testing other then making sure it worked. (Hence the beta update thingy) Ill be releasing a fixed version after I finish testing/stuff.
  8. Minor Update Beta testing thingy.... I don't know I'm extremely tired right now. V1.35 **Delete old versions of the mod before installing the new one** -Removed the BOSS part/plugin. -Added a experimental feature to the camera part. It can take real photos now. (From the cameras point of view! Yay.) *Right now taking a real picture doesn't give science, this might change in the future when i figure out how to change the science message during gameplay. *Theres a bug with the picture system where it doesn't hide the UI during photo capture, if you know how to solve this let me know. *Currently there's no way to stick your view onto the camera's POV real time, either Ill add that as a feature. Or I'll add support to let another mod handle it. *When taking a picture your view should switch to the camera's POV for a moment then back out. Bear in mind that the new camera feature is still heavily WIP and I will be changing it based on initial feedback. But i do plan to have some sort of setting gui, such as BOSS's where you can pick the resolution of the screenshot.
  9. I am currently working on making the camera functional.
  10. Built a station.... Ill send up a BOSS Camera soon so i can take a better screenshot. Its got 2 Skylabs, 8 transmitters, 4 hitch hikers, a full orange tank+ a supply thingy, 7 gigantors (One got smashed by debris) And two tugs... My first one got super glued due to lag onto the station. Took 3 days with mechjeb assistance to build this sucker.
  11. Theres flavor text ingame if you land on jool, I imagine if you bring your velocity to 0 while hovering at 0 meters above jool. You'd get them. I might test this once a Jool window opens for me.
  12. Theres some text ingame if you land on Jool. I'm assuming you get boatloads of science from that.
  13. Theres a loss of data even if you return it to kerbin, its not 100% It seems. It affects all science.
  14. Can I get a version of this that only requires energy for kerbal survival? Or some settings for it. Id love to setup "lifesupport" But i dont want the hassle of shipping oxygen and such around.
  15. Well if it was setup so you didn't need the parts you wouldn't need it. But as it stands you need the part. I've updated a version of this, Its included in my scientific parts mod. If you want just the working BOSS part i can supply that also if you send me a PM. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/53813-0-22-L-Tech-Scientific-Stuff-V1-3
  16. That brings up some balancing ideas then, should it suck power like it currently does? Or should I increase the datascale to extreme amounts so you need a large amount of power to transmit it. Theres also plans to make the lab require crew/shipped up science module payloads that allow you to do experiments before being spent out, and requiring replacement experiments. These payloads wouldn't work without a fully crewed/stocked science lab.
  17. Can we get some way to harvest kethane from water? Id love to see kethane rig designs.
  18. Sounds like a part stopped existing... Get that mod admin mod I've seen around, it helped me fix part problems when i updated my ksp mods.
  19. Update V1.3 -New Texture for the camera model by "Dungchunker" -New Radio Receiver model by Dunchunker, Thanks (Rotation offsets need fixing though) -Added a Sample return container -Allows you to store EVA samples on a easily returnable -Added a science research station, that allows you to farm long term science. But the catch is its expensive to send back and you get more data by keeping the lab in orbit. -(I got plans for this later possible adding requirements to modules you fly up n stuff) -Thanks to those who contacted me before hand. Sorry about the no source deal, I've included it now. Its just a modified to work version of BOSS. As for the installation instructions you just stick the folder in gamedata and it works.
  20. Just have the connections handled like kerbal livefeed. Then those of us who want to play with a small group can while those who want to build giant stuff with their friends can and burn out their computers on their own.
  21. Id love just to have 300 part craft maybe 500 but 10k would destroy your internet connection.
  22. I like any kerbal i get with "Lud" in there name. Haven't seen any Ludsoe kermans yet.... I assume they are smart enough to avoid the space program at all costs. But I've got "Ludson" and "Ludfurt". I dont have a picture of Ludson.... He was on my 0.21 sandbox save.
  23. Please don't force a max part count in the mod itself, or at least make it changeable. I'm looking forward to this so i can play with my friends, I'm planning to race them around the entire planet with aircraft... (And maybe drop a empty fuel tank in their direction to slow them down.)
