  1. Judging how most of your ship classes are named after something to do with the ocean, I'm going out on a limb and saying its the scientific name of some sea critter
  2. Ok I'm going to try to guess each fighter 1. a generic fighter 2. Daemon's, (really long named) K-drive fighter 3. Macey Dean Naval Isprit 4. Spartwo Broadsword 5. Hanland Shade MKII 6. Scriptkitt3n tri-fighter 7. My cherub (can't tell if its an old, MKI, MKII or just your attempt at remaking it) 8. I can't tell but I'm going to guess its from Zeke
  3. I take it everyone is busy studying like I am?
  4. Ok so I just put some more though into how a large scale battle could be done each side gets a total of 15 ships each side gets to use 5 fighters or light ships (less than 50 tons), 5 medium ships (50.1-80) 4 heavy ships (80.1+) and one carrier (or 5 heavy and no carrier) each side starts off by placing 3 ships. Players can bring in a wave of new ships (4 max per wave) at any time. Doing so though forfeits a turn (meaning you have to think long and hard about when you wish to do it) to fix the issue of weight order due to waves, players must go in order of 1 light, 1, medium, 1 heavy If a player does not bring in a wave and all his/her ships are destroyed, they lose. Meaning you have to bring in a wave before your last ship gets destroyed. Last ship in fighting condition wins. this type of fighting style would be done to push players to the limits or strategic thinking as well as time, patience, and will power Places like Kerbin, Jool, and Eve would be awesome to do this at because players can spread their ship around with ease. What do y'all think?
  5. All depends on how you play. Everybody has their own ship building, and fighting style Edit: also if you were to battle me and we used my alternative carrier rules (or the thread carrier rules in general) light fighters are critical http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/entries/1429-War-Eagle-1-s-Alternative-Carrier-Rules-for-Gentlemen-s-Battle-Club
  6. Ok just testing the waters here Would anybody else be interested in doing massive battle Im talking 10-15 ships one each side But to make it more interesting, we only start off with 3. Then when it gets down to one ship left, a wave of 5 comes in. After that, when it gets down to 3 ships, another wave come in. We do that until 10-15 ships have been on the field for each team. Last ship standing that is combat efficient wins. To make it more interesting, debris is left on Edit: I'm thinking a battle like this would need to take place around Moho, Eeloo, Jool, Laythe, or Kerbin
  7. After first initial test, my alternative rules for carriers seem rather enjoyable. It defiantly puts a new twist on battles I ll do another battle with myself after finals. In the mean time, try them out for yourself
  8. As for his legacy, Spartwo made a thread that allows people to battle each other in the same style as Battle of Laythe. Feel free to check it out http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/74234-Gentlemen-s-Naval-Battle-Club%28Ready-to-begin%29 Also me and Spartwo have been making re-creations of the Hanland ships that are were unavailable to be downloaded. So far we have made the Grendel, and the Suestra Command Cruiser. Anybody want a copy?
  9. I aint got time to battle someone else Plus I'm testing out my carrier rules
  10. It may not provide the desired affects but if you angle it right you can make a working door. You would just have to comprise looks for wanting of a door
  11. So you were basically making opening and closing doors. Have you tried landing legs (or was that what you were doing)?
  12. Who has two thumbs and is almost done with his last paper for the semester. THIS GUY!!!! This semester alone, I have written a total of 21 papers. GGHAAAA All that is left is finals Im ready to battle again. SOOON!
  13. Honestly now that I think about it, using space rocks would be to OP
  14. I would suggest making a blog like I did and putting new rule or alternative ways down on it. That way this page won't get cluttered like last time. Then you can show it to spartwo. If he likes it, he will add it.
  15. That is true (plain is still working)
  16. Yay my plain to get people talking worked but what if we used a liquid fuel engine?
  17. Interesting thought? What if a new weapon was grabbing onto a ship with two claws and the burning it with an engine? Think thats legal? (im also just posting just to get other people talking)
  18. Did you take this pic just to add a rebuttal?
