You can just hit f1 in game to get a screen shot. But, for out of game and in general, I'd go with either MSI afterburner or OBS. If you have an AMD card you can try "AMD Gaming Evolved App." Or Shadowplay for Nividia.

Probably already covered, but my $0.02 are to drop the i7 for a fast i5 (something like 4690(K)), grab the GTX 750 ti (It's better and about the same price) 8 gb Ram should be enough. And just as a general statement. If you need to ask weather or not to get an i7 you probably don't need an i7. Oh, and what is your budget?

I want to say Ram, then CPU, then GPU.

Or the numbers that AMD and Nvidia put out are for crap PSUs @the general jacob. For GPU perhaps something like the r9 270/x(around $200 for the "x" version). I have the 7870 which is the last gen version and it does pretty well in KSP
