  1. You think that's alot? LOL. You should've seen mines before I started to stop tracking flights because I got annoyed.
  2. I googled "99 boosters all in stage 1" and found this as the first result (images).
  3. Ofcourse not. Plus, you can just put a decoupler on your pod and add a parachute, then you'd be fine. You won't even have to worry about weight. Its just wasting alot of fuel to dock to a space station just to go back into the atmosphere.
  4. I had this. Which caused me to let my kerbals die on my space station because I was too lazy to a rescue mission ans it only had one emergency vessel
  5. Simplhy because it holds alot of fuel for only one part. More parts more lag
  6. You can extend alot of stuff in the VAB by right-clicking it (ladders, etc). But more things need that ability, like antennas and solar panels. So we can see how it looks on the ship prior to launch.
  7. This belongs in the questions/support section. But you couldn't switch back to the pod with the other [ or ] key? Or even go into map view and click "Switch to"?
  8. I've been wondering, Why is it so hard to make an efficient rocket that can get to far places in stock KSP, than IRL? In KSP you see people launching rockets with 4 large orange fuel tanks and mainsnail engines externally attached as boosters. Then the normal rocket would have like 4-5 stages. Just to go to duna or something. IRL its just 2 boosters and a 2-3 stage rocket. Whats the deal with that? I'm looking to make cool, realistic, and efficient rockets. Not just keep struggling to make a good rocket.
  9. In the current system you press Alt+L to prevent yourself from accidently hitting the spacebar but I'd love to see a feature in the VAB where you can make the game automatically stage-lock once it gets to a certain stage. For further safety of your current mission.
  10. I'd like to see the little blur you see IRL from the exhaust of an aircraft or a rocket engine. The only thing I see is fire coming out, but I like to see that little blur/air-vibration aswell.
  11. I'd love that. I'd want all the kerbals alive and talking like Alvin and the Chipmunks. And their goal is to reach every planet in kerbol by building rockets and using real orbital mechanics. Or maybe they try to inhabit a new planet bbecaue of a disaster. The only reason I wouldn't want a movie is because somehow it can ruin the game. Idk how but I just think that.people who never played ksp would probably think the game came out after the movie by someone else and is less interesting, and directly based on it, so they might not wanna touch it. But it sounds 50/50
  12. So I was building my rocket to send my advanced unmanned rover to laythe, it was the first time I'd ever be entering laythes atmosphere. Since I use Deadly Reentry, I decided to find a way to put heatshields on the bottom of my rover when it enters the atmosphere. Then I go ahead and build the rest of my rocket to launch to laythe. I arrive, but oh no! I messed up on my aerobrake and ended up going down over the water instead of land. And I jettisoned my engines! I contact people on IRC asking what I should do.."RCS? Get out and push? edit quicksave file? Sacrifice a kerbal?". Realizing that I couldn't do any of those (except edit the file, I didnt wanna cheat though), I thought my mission was done for. Then god said "Halt! Do not jettison those heatshields! They can serve as a floation device." So what do ya know? Split second thinking saved the mission! Science gathered in laythe waters. So what are some of your extreme last-second-mission-successors-thingies?
  13. That's a nice point you have there, but I do believe that Kerbin wasn't made to mimic planet earth, but have its own unique attributes, along with the rest of the solar system in ksp.
  14. Check the description and also subscribe! Thanks for watching. I just sent this new rover I made to duna (This is only part 1)
  15. I just felt like showing it off
  16. Well we're gonna need to send men into space anyways, because one day we won't be able to live on earth anymore if the human species hasn't gone extinct by then.
  17. I came here for the surface-sample drill and I liked it, until I found out it doesn't retract since its a one-time use.
  18. There should be a part that can reach out and grab a surface sample without kerbals. So I can send an unmanned lander somewhere.
