  1. What does KMP server use the http broadcast port 8081 for?
  2. Brilliant! Amazing! Definatly worthy of an SSI title. A signature look and feel and practicality that represents the best in SSTO engineering and what SSI is honored to include in our catalog. Great job!
  3. Do you think the craft could meet SSI certification requirements? If so, we'd love to publish it in our catalog. See the SSI thread in my sig below.
  4. Thanks Vlad, Johannes, and godarklight. I keep running into a problem where port 8081 is in use by the other instance of KMP. This might be because I am not running a second copy of KMP in a second copy of KSP. I suppose I need to do this first. I understand port forwarding, and I guess I was misunderstood. To make my question more clear: I am curious as to whether or not I need to change 8081 on the second instance of KMP to use something else. Will changing this port prevent client and server from communicating whatever is sent through that port? Clients can change the port they connect to from 2076 to a different port with the client easily, but what about 8081? If I change KMP to use an alt port for that port, will clients need to do the same to communicate back with KMP Server - if at all? What is the purpose of that port for KMP? I know its a http port, but what is it used for? Outbound from KMP Sever only? I'd really like to get in on the IRC channel. I aim to be running a server full time and dig into helping make this community grow. I'll post in reddit shortly as kspinigma introducing the server.
  5. Win7 or Linux. My sever runs both though I currently have it installed in Win7. I aim to make available a generic kmp server for the public, and more private server for SSI. I suppose I could change the ports 2076 and 8081 to other ports for SSI but is this unavoidable? Seems awfully messy, that and I would have to tell people to open ports on their end too.
  6. any idea how to setup two servers on the same machine?
  7. Its a pain to scroll though so many craft and subassembly files. Can you guys enable file system management within the game? Let us create categories of crafts and drag and drop crafts into those categories to save them. Also allow tagging and craft file search function and sorting by create/change timestamp.
  8. My entry: the SSI Proton I Type-1A Shuttlecraft See link in my sig for the updated 62 part Proton III craft. Edit: sig updated.
  9. The Proton H is almost ready. It has completed its first certification trial to the Mun and back with 19 fuel left to spare. Disregard Engineer Redux. It's removed in the final version (and is certified without it) as we only use it to find the optimum launch profile during R&D.
  10. Evidence of convergent design is everywhere nowadays. Anyways, I have new pics uploaded to imgur album demonstrating hangar operation and even pairing two Nuclei together. The Nucleus is nearly ready for publication. I have also completed the Proton H's first certification run. Hopefully two crafts at the same time. This outta keep our fans happy.
  11. Added the newly certified Newton Class Type-1 Shuttlecraft. I'll update the download link shortly once I modify the craft file name, etc. For now you can download it from the original author by checking out his brochure and support thread.
  12. Great craft! Can you post a daytime image from space? Something like the image on the front page of my Proton in my sig below. Make that your primary and I'll get it added to the catalog.
  13. updated OP. nip and tuck complete. new images posted. Those hover pontoons look awesome now. The GR-X.7 is posted in the SSI Dropbox for SSI Engineers to test.
  14. Great job with this one! SSI is requesting anyone who has an MMU to submit it to our SSI thread in Rocket Builders forum. We want to start cataloging these and offering them with other auxiliary craft.
  15. Clip that badboy up to not show intakes or panels and you will have one awesome looking shuttlecraft. SSI would love to review such.
  16. The GR-X is now identified as the Nucleus Dropship. The Nucleus Dropship shuttlecraft refueler/transport project is nearly complete. Pics soon.
  17. Yeah congrats too. Nice wheels. We should add it to the SSI savegame file.
  18. Correct, the list is conservative and thus shows max values, not aerobraking possibilities. I should make a disclaimer.
  19. shuttlepod! submit it! needs a parchute though to be considered an emergency spacecraft too.
