  1. I have stability problems with any number of mods. I'm not sure why, but I might have to try out one of your guys' more stable mod setups to see if I experience the same stability.
  2. Can anyone help me understand how to build with the petal adapter? I saw the demo video and understand how to use it, but, to me, it's unclear whether I attach the lander to the lower attachment node of the petal adapter or if I attach it to the engine bell of the CSM. I know it probably seems obvious to other people, but for me, I could see it working either way. But if it's attached to the engine bell, the lander comes out with the CSM, which is what I find confusing.

I know it's just a cosmetic request/suggestion, but would it be possible to add the current version of RemoteTech 2 and the version of the game it's compatible with, so the thread title could be something like: [0.23.5][Development Resumed]RemoteTech 2. Or something to that effect. Since it is so cosmetic, I totally understand if this suggestion is tossed by the wayside.
  4. Is that memory leak confirmed? Because if Squad used 64 bit data types in the 64 bit version of the game, everything checks out because the data types are larger in size. The rule of thumb is that a 64 bit program will almost always use more RAM than the 32 bit counterpart because of the technical details of 32 vs 64 bit memory addressing.

  7. That's a great idea. I haven't done that in years. I think it might be time to do it again. Shooting off model rockets was always a blast.
  8. I have a laptop too, but it usually just sits on my desk, hooked up to other monitors. If I am on the go, I make do with one screen, but if I can help it, I have two or more.
  9. In this day and age, who has fewer than two monitors (I have three and love it, but I can't survive without two...).
  10. It would also assume that the RC release going on right now doesn't cut it for tomorrow or Friday.
  11. OSX RC just went up, it seems. Not long now for the PC x64 RC to go up and the testers to begin their testing. We're probably looking at a release tomorrow if all goes well.
  12. They use scratchpad2 for early dev stuff. They use scratchpad for QA and testing. Sounds like it's going out for an RC now. But I don't know for sure.
  13. True enough. But if you check the history, last night (~16 hours ago) it looks like they had just updated the 64 bit Windows version. Either way, we're all just speculating, so we could be completely missing the mark
  14. It looks to me like it's only a bug affecting the Windows 32 bit and 64 bit version of the game.
  15. What kind of launch tower/contraption is that over the top of the EFT? I've never seen anything like it. I do recognize the rest as FASA parts though.
  16. In the time I've been refreshing the SteamDB page, the number of people playing the game has gone up by about a thousand players.

If they're recompiling any code in these updated builds, it's hard to pinpoint exactly how significant the changes are because code compiled down is subject to different compiler optimizations depending on what's changed. While it won't vary that wildly (because compilers do predictable optimizations), we have no idea and can only speculate at what the difference of one byte actually means.
  18. What's hyping this release the most for me is official 64 bit support. I want that 64 bit executable so I can run more mods. I had my initial mod list running right up against the ceiling and I want even more mods to play around with.
  19. On one hand, it might not be today, on the other hand, we know they're testing this release like crazy so it'll be a nice update when it does hit.

  22. The thing that's tripping me up right now is the lack of official 64 bit support. I have so many mods I want to use, but not enough memory to use them all in. Once 0.24 comes out, my interest will be greatly renewed. That being said, I've never been outside the Kerbin system and it's definitely something I should do, I'm just not very good with rocket design so until I can skillfully create a shuttle program and fly cargo into space to assemble, I am pretty much bound to the Kerbin System.
  23. Are there any reliable FAR and/or DREC configs available for the Super 25 yet?
