  1. You both might want to check out QuillJS. It was posted on the r/programming subreddit the other day.
  2. Those are some serious boosters in the second picture. How far would you go before those boosters ran out of fuel?
  3. Fair enough. I was just curious. Swapping out the ARM SRBs works equally as well for me. I can still reach orbit very easily with that set up. So it's nice that they're mostly interchangeable, but it's also nice to learn your design philosophy on why you made that choice.
  4. Just out of curiosity, why did you decide to go with LFO boosters instead of true SRBs? I personally always swap out the LFO boosters for the ARM SRBs.
  5. One day as in Earth day or Kerbin Day (24 hours or 6 hours)? I know since 0.23.5 the meaning of "one day" has slightly changed, so I figured I'd ask.
  6. I found some sort of error with KSPRC/TextureReplacer. The 64 bit game crashes while loading with those mods installed. Take away TextureReplacer and it loads without any problem. Not sure why though.
  7. If you would like to start up a Linux mod compatibility project, I'd be happy to help you test mods out to see whether they work under 64 bit or 32 bit versions of the game. I have Ubuntu 14.04 x64 LTS installed on my computer.
  8. In my KSP.log, there's an error coming up with Active Texture Management. I'm running KSP 64 bit on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Here are the relevant parts of the KSP.log. I can furnish the whole log if you need me to. [LOG 11:12:41.256] [ModuleManager] Exception while checking needs : BoulderCo/ActiveTextureManagerConfigs/BoulderCo/ACTIVE_TEXTURE_MANAGER_CONFIG System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at ConfigNode.CopyToRecursive (.ConfigNode node) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ConfigNode.CopyToRecursive (.ConfigNode node) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ConfigNode.CopyTo (.ConfigNode node) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ModuleManager.ConfigManager.CheckNeeds (.ConfigNode subMod) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ModuleManager.ConfigManager.CheckNeeds (System.Collections.Generic.List`1 excludePaths) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 Something's causing my game to crash while loading, and I think it might be this. I don't know for sure though.
  9. I linked the incorrect KSP.log file for when Texture Replacer crashes the game on load up. Here's the correct log: http://pastebin.com/5K64Vmwq
  10. Here's the correct log containing loading from Texture Replacer. It just crashes part way through the load up procedure. http://pastebin.com/5K64Vmwq
  11. Yeah, you're right. Just remembered that's the log that ran after I removed texture replacer. Let me reload it and repaste the correct log. My bad.
  12. It probably never went above 3GB of RAM because it never needed more than 3GB. As long as you're running the 64 bit version, the 3.5GB limit gets lifted. And the system monitor only reports the RAM being used at the current moment, not the maximum amount of RAM the game can take up. To test it, I'd launch the 64 bit version of the game with tons of mods installed and see if it crashes. If it doesn't and it's using more than 4GB of RAM, you know it's working.
  13. Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/DTBtpPGR I haven't looked too extensively through it, but I was running 64 bit KSP under Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. When I removed Texture Replacer, it loaded fine.
  14. Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/DTBtpPGR It didn't explicitly say anything about texture replacer from what I can see, but it crashed when it attempted to load texture replacer. When I removed it, it loaded fine.
  15. Is there, by chance, incompatibility with the Linux version of KSP? I get crashes running this mod from the loading screen. I know Linux users are rarer but I was curious if there was any known issues with this mod. I love it though.
  16. Anyone on Linux using Texture Replacer with their installation of KSP? I keep crashing on the load screen with Texture Replacer (I remove it and it loads no problem). I was just curious if anyone else has run across this incompatibility and if they have a solution for it.
  17. Any ideas why this might be happening? It happens with stock textures too. I don't think I have any incompatible mods installed, I do have ATM installed but it's version 3 and I also have texture replacer but I explicitly disabled compression in the config. I installed the redistributable as was linked in the OP and I'm still not having any luck with this mod.
  18. It really depends on your hardware on how well it'll run on three monitors. It runs pretty well for me on three, quite a great experience too. I am running SLI GTX 670s though.
  19. I waited to see the message that said all textures were prepared, if that's what you mean.
  20. Excuse the large resolution, but I'm getting this odd error. Every time I try this mod, weird things like this happen with the textures. Here's a link to my crash logs: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xswyg467e9h9a27/2014-05-18_204146.zip
  21. I really liked the nutshell tutorial. I haven't watched the full length one, but the format for the nutshell one was pretty awesome.
  22. My mod list can be found here: https://gist.github.com/ELD/11089558 This is on Windows, so I'm bound by the 32 bit memory limit. I've been experimenting with getting KSP running on Linux, but until then, those are all the mods I'll be using. But, on the off-chance I get KSP x64 working under Linux, I'll be adding even more to that list.
  23. Actually, installing Greenskull's texture configuration fixed the issue. For some reason the default ATM configuration was causing the issue.
  24. Has anyone run into this weird glitch? I can't figure out where the conflict is with all my mods, but something is causing RPM not to load correctly. I have a whole laundry list of mods installed (which I can furnish if requested) as well as the KSI MFD and Module Manager 2.1 installed. This is what it looks like in the cockpit:
