  1. Not movie maker editing, and not the best mic but it also isn't too crappy, its not filled with static. Being 16, almost 17, I doubt I sound like a 12 year old lol. But seriouslly I love the history of space flight with the human race and would love to educate myself by doing research for this project and educate others at the same time.
  2. Hey guys I'm back here once again! I have this idea and just want some opinions on it if you wouldn't mind. I am thinking about doing a mini series on the history of space flight (US and USSR) up until modern day. Going and doing research from the very beginning and going into as much detail as I can find on a certain time period and making a video about to try and educate the people. What do you guys think?

  5. Here is my idea. Why not just drop a unmanned lander larger then the manned lander with a low thrust (strong enough for soft landing) but it burns very hot. The lander would melt a spot away whilst our manned craft does another orbit. When our craft gets to a burn point to drop on top of the unmanned lander it does so and 1 lands on a safe man made landing location and also has a relativley flat spot to get out and stretch.

  8. 7488275: There was discussion of time warp a few pages back--my answer was, faster time warp would be nice, but it's not a high priority given we have 100,000x timewarp (1.25days/second); yes, distances are being rescaled (it says in the OP: "Kerbin and Mun are rescaled and placed in their correct orbits.") It does say that yes but... I didn't know if that was just going to be limited to Kerbin's SOI or if that would affect all rescaled planets later on.
  9. I love this idea and love this mod. I have a question though, if you are scaling all the planets up to actual size are you scaling the distances as well? If so... Are you going to change the time warp feature to allow faster time warp when traveling to farther away planets.
  10. I've seen a video of it on Youtube and I think Squad will come up with something like this when KSP is closer to being done. Late Beta or even wait till after its released.

  13. If you want to say that to this guy you had better go through 90% of the space lounge and say the exact same thing.... Many threads are asking opinions on games as this one is doing. Now to the OP It looks amazing and I want to get it when the price comes down.

  16. Well... I don't really name them, they just stay "untitled space craft" because none of them have been sucessful once I get a sucessful design I'll save it and name it.
  17. Ah damn metric system... I thought it used American or Imperial tons not Metric tons... That is good to know correctly now. And okay the delta V is really throwing me for a loop... I apologize I am only learning geometry ( only had algebra in the past ) and I stuggle with math as it is lol. So with that equation that capi301 provided I think I can figure it out and get used to it but the TWR. How do I know the total stage thrust? Is that the "power" in the VAB?
  18. so the mk1 pod's mass is 0.8 so in tons that would be...? And the wiki will take some time to break down into my understable range but thank you. Will look at it and give it a go!
  19. Hey guys back once again! Trying to improve myself as a player and be less dependent on mods... How does the math of vehicles work? Like the mass? What does 0.3 mass equal? I'm assuming once I know the mass of objects I can use an equation based on the Kn of thrust an engine provides to determines if that engine can lift that total mass? Also how to determine the Delta V of a stage and of the entire rocket. I hope you guys understand what I'm getting it. Its aggervating not knowing the true weight in tonnage and not knowing the lift capabilties of a stage! So if you guys can point me in the right direction on the math I'd appreciate it! thanks!
  20. This mod was good while it was useful but I think now that .22 here with stock sub assemblies we no longer need this mod. Thank you though!
  21. After I have been playing .22 for some time and landing on the Mun, Minimum and several other planets I stopped and realized something. Before .22 came out there was no purpose to go to these planets except for saying, "haha I did it!" The Devs have put countless hours into this game, have lost much sleep I'm sure, and probably sometimes missed out on family or friends events! Why? To bring us an amazing game! And just think, its not over yet! We still have (hopefully) MANY MANY updates to come still! I think we all owe the Devs a big thank you! I don't know how else to show my appreciation personally to them other then this post which they will likely never see! But that is not the point. I hope they realize how much the fans love this game and love what they are doing and they keep up the AMAZING work! Thank you and have a good night!
  22. If they overhauled the graphics of course to about a 2009 level I would be interested in playing it. But I refuse to support EA games which Maxis is a part of.
  23. Thanks dude! Saw this on the forums and thought, "Eh maybe..." So I bookmarked it and would come back later. Then I saw a video by Scott Manley detailing how it works and I must say great mod it is just what I need to lower my part count on my lower end CPU. Thanks so much!
