  1. No, but I like to keep users who may not be familiar with the customs of the forum up-to-date. I do apologize if I have offended you, and I have seen no other multi-posts as of yet.
  2. There's an edit button - please don't quadruple-post.
  3. Kind of inspired by a series of images floating around WDYDIKSPT.
  4. I feel like I have to agree. In every respectable forum system, necroposting is acceptable if you have something meaningful and important to add to the discussion. An example I once saw on Mario Heaven (paraphrased as I don't remember the exact words): Suppose you have a year-old thread about Abraham Lincoln. If somebody comments on how they like Lincoln's hat, that's pointless necroposting and they shouldn't have done it. But if somebody posts confirming the fact that Abe has been brought back from the dead, that is acceptable necroposting, as it adds something new and meaningful.
  5. I launched the Santorini 1, a "sounding" rocket built to go far, but not too far, into Earth's atmosphere. Um, about that.... And I got it back safely. It uses AEIS and StretchyTanks (actually StretchySRBs but I used LFO).
  6. I started playing around with AEIS and accidentally made a cubesat TIE Fighter.
  7. I prefer milk chocolate, but dark chocolate goes very well with pretzels. I think.
  8. This isn't exactly clear.... Where in the config do I add in the line?
  9. These look very good. I like some of the configurations you went for. P.S. Why do you sign your posts?
  10. It's not a swirl, it's a circular distortion effect.
  11. I actually have an idea for this. Jeb, Bob, and Bill are preparing to blast off for the first Munar landing. Everything is going wrong with the rocket and tensions are already rising. After the first rocket literally tips over and blows up while being rolled to the launch pad, the trio finally lifts off and heads for the Mun. The journey is like the one in Apollo 13, but with lots of humor and accidental breaking of various experiments. Eventually, the reach the Mun, land, and return during the climax of the movie. That honestly seems like the best premise for a movie about something so open-ended. Of course, I could be wrong.
  12. I must say, I was very confused at first when I thought you wanted a plane that could go as fast as possible without hitting one meter per second.
  13. My only problem now is... how am I going to get this into space?!
  14. AMURICA. The land of hot dogs, baseball, and that polar vortex that's mucking everything up right now. And I live right on the northwest tip of Pennsylvania, so it's basically on top of us. Sigh.
  15. After a successful test run ending in a smooth, slow grass landing, the prototype K-1 Starmuncher was given a full paint job and tasked with a runway landing. The plane flew off, as straight from the runway as anyone could ask for. After an extremely smooth outward loop, nearly unbroken and still straight as an arrow, the plane aligned itself for the final approach. And a perfect touchdown. The K-1 is now cleared for a wide range of applications.
