  1. Hello, and thank you for reading this post. I have an question about which engine would work better in Mun's gravity, the LV-N or the LV-909. In TWR comparisons (on Kerbin), the atomic engine loses every time, but the vac isp for the LV-N is more than twofold of the LV-909. I would like to know which would work better on the Mun. Thanks!
  2. I hate it when I get a stroke of genius that makes my last idea obsolete.....It's going to make mum shipyard logistics much easier, using much less equipment. I'm not near my computer this week, but it involves building it flat, then tipping it upright without and cables or mechanisms.
  3. You, Sir, made me say "WHAT?!" out-loud while watching this video. Very cool! I feel inspired.
  4. A ship like that could "sweep" a kerbal off their feet.
  5. Already did it. Load sizes are officially not a problem
  6. He has the look on his face like he just landed on the wrong planet
  7. I'm literally in tears......no words..... well, I guess a thank you is all I can manage right now. Still hard to breathe
  8. I'm doing this because I'm terrible at docking in orbit
  9. getting ready for my .21 Mun Base..... Didn't work too well in Kerbin's gravity........
  10. First model of Hound MTR-2 Untested, sent it to the Mun anyways. It was alright, but I completely upgraded it. Out with the old....... In with the new! Hound MTR-3!!! Soon after this jump.....things exploded
  11. First test in Kerbin gravity didn't go so well...... But it will definitely work in Mun's gravity
  12. Here is the final masterpiece! Not building on the Mun until .21 is released. This took so many hours of trial and error and banging my head on the desk. This is my Duna Lander ship! All of the extra landing gear and supports for the main rocket come off upon launch. I can't wait to use it!
  13. It's a bit nit-picky, but yes. You can build the rover and lander for it right-side up, then after you are done with that stage, flip is completely, then build downwards the rest of the rocket.
  14. Restart my Mun base, because I upgraded all of my vehicles for it. Begin my Munar shipyard. Design new rovers to explore the new mountains and terrain. And of course, find the sweetest jump at the new KSC.
  15. Tonka (from the old tonka truck toys) for the big one. Mighty Mouse for the smaller one
  16. I tried that. I'll create an alternate save file to play with it and try to fix it.
  17. I have 2 okto2's on the front, but they didn't fix the problem. I have space on the inside near the front, would that be the place to put it? I'll keep playing with it, thanks for the advice!
  18. I tried, but in the editor, it's a super pain in the behind. Because the symmetry puts on the other side backwards after I separate it, this having to build the other side from scratch. As long as I have pilots, this isnt really an important issue for me. Thanks for the advice though!
  19. Also, the "Hound" drives backwards when pilot is absent.........not sure how to fix that.......
  20. Just made this bad boy. Sent it to the Mun without even testing it! haha "Hound MTR-2" The look waaayyyyy too excited for the test run! This is what it replaced..........a bit of an upgrade, I'd say. Found this during the test drive.........that skycrane landed a few days ago. Wow. MPG through the roof!! This thing can flip about 6 times with only minor cosmetic damage.(7-9 m/s flip) It's pretty tough. These work 100% to flip it back over, just gotta play with the throttle a bit. Jeb "T-10 seconds to launch!" Geofwell "Um, Jeb, this isn't a rocket....." Jeb "........fine, have it your way....."
  21. Here is mine. I use Damned Robotics. What do you use for the crane?
