I'll miss the constant updates when KSP gets fully released.... But it might still be a long way to go. Anyhow, Resources. And the real Career mode. And aerodynamics. Things that Squad should implement before moving to beta.
-
Possibly the worst decision the devs have ever made so far.

I think Comic Sans is not inherently evil. It is just misused and misunderstood. It is a comic-style font but it totally looks out of place in a comic book. Seriously. Have you ever seen a comic's dialogue written as such? -
I second your opinion. However, I do not see this being released in .22, possibly in another update that focuses on better IVAs(internal crew transfers ftw ). What I think would also be interesting is to have EVA experiments in orbit, similar to what they actually do on the ISS (not sure if the devs have confirmed whether this will be out in the next update, can anybody confirm?)

This. Is. So. KERBAL!! lol My fav celestial body in KSP would be Minmus, cause with terrain scatter on it kinda looks like mint n choc ice cream. Mmmm.. Interplanetary dessert break anyone?

Now I know from where the Telus Mobility Enhancer came from
manskal replied to FellipeC's topic in KSP1 Discussion
That doesn't look very comfortable. The rungs are widely spaced apart and it doesn't go all the way up to the cockpit itself. Do you actually have to heave yourself up into the cockpit from the top of the ladder? It looks pretty scary, to be honest. Then again, the pilots are actually trained and physically fit while I'm just a potato who sits behind a computer and strands all his pilots on the mun. -
I love the expression on the other kerbal. 6 years on the job with Jeb, and counting. Just another ordinary day in the Kerbal Space Program.
-
Probably the hidden source of Jeb's optimism?
-
Sending Jeb to the Mun with only a seat strapped on to a small rocket as the ascent stage. Totally worked out fine. Except for the "getting back home" part. Jeb :"Uhh, KSC, we have a problem. I've finished all onboard snacks and it looks like I'll be here for a while". Next mission: Munar snacks delivery! (Probably not going to retrieve Jeb, he likes it there).

Making the KSC more lively
manskal replied to Djsnowboy267's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Hmmm, never thought of that, good point. Still, IIRC one of the devs said they were implementing more npcs and atmospheric additions to the KSC. I personally hope we can see all the crafts that are in the vicinity of the KSC (launchpad, runway, even on the grass or on top of the VAB) as if it were in real time in the Space Center screen. -
Power and Propellent Degradation
manskal replied to Matayoman's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Get Kerbal alarm clock - a must for running multiple missions. Don't worry, it doesn't add any parts or ruin the stock feeling. -
I tried to create a two-seater buggy-style vehicle. To plant flags around KSC. Off we go! This being KSP though... Still, they survived! Jeb busted the front wheel again.. And we don't have any spares.

Power and Propellent Degradation
manskal replied to Matayoman's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Exactly. Also, make it so that kerbals can fix those parts that have degraded, swapping out old batteries and solar cells with new ones. In fact, that can be the objective of some missions in career mode (maintaining a space telescope ala the Hubble). That would also be an increased advantage for crewed missions. Fuel boiling off? There's a mod for that. -
high detail Skylab/CSM replica
manskal replied to Jamie Logan's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Awesome! Was it launched up in a single go (like the actual Skylab) or was it assembled in orbit 'wet workshop' style? The main body of your Skylab is huge compared to the real one (I realize there are part size limitations in KSP), but the attention to detail is great. -
Does that dash come in carbon fibre?

Squad Should Ask Microsoft For A Free Xbox One Development Kit
manskal replied to NeoMorph's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Well, to be fair con soles can have pretty complex games too. But I think KSP has a unique UI already designed with the pc in mind. Recreating and adapting that for consoles would take a lot of effort. And I don't get why everything has to be on the tv or consoles nowadays. Damned kids! (I feel so old now:wink:) Still, KSP for xbox? Not a smart move. If you point out 'but Minecraft?!' Well last time I checked best selling didn't mean best quality. Squad should just focus on pc and mac, for now. -
Or maybe he bounced because his helmets are Kerbal-grade. If you've ever watched Danny's vids, you'll see how tough and physics defying they are (hitting the ground at terminal velocity:totally survivable).
-
Amazing! I really like how you used radial RCS tanks on the orbital module of your Soyuz ; something I have never been able to get right. From here onwards I will shamelessly copy your Soyuz design (though I won't claim it as my own).
-
Oh, ok. But I'm sure they didn't hang floating in mid-jump like that. Learn something new every day.
-
The last comic is wrong! He should still have fallen albeit at a slower, less fatal velocity. Still gave me the lulz though. Would be great if somebody made these simple cartoons, but about the kerbals.
-
Want more control? Use liquid fuelled rockets. And maybe add a solid-powered impactor as it's second stage.
-
To stop experiment spamming : Make the experiments costly and sensitive. That way you cannot be too cavalier with your science packages. Also, make different levels of experiments that collect the same type of data but at varying qualities. They should be integrated into the tech tree. So in the early game you might have a one-shot rock analysis experiment but later you have a much more expensive experiment that can take multiple readings. Or something like that. I'm sure the devs have plenty of time to balance it out before release.

Awwwww ... I don't know what everyone is so worried about

Strut it down before it's too late! -
They should make a Barbie playset that simulates real hair in microgravity. That would be all the rage.
