My main mission : procrastination! Trying to get to the Mun, but end up sending probes to Eve instead.

Loved the book to bits. I think I still have it lying around somewhere.
-
I think I found Erebor on Kerbin. Dunno where Smaug is though...
-
I try to base names on what crafts are designed to do (Munar orbiter I, Heavy Launch Vehicle) or kerbalise real-life counterparts (Sojuz, Muna). Nothing too fancy I guess.
-
Map screen has got some bugs: -Sometimes it is very jittery when panning around ships/planets (been there since 0.20) -When you focus on a planet (eg Kerbin), you cannot revert focus back to your active ship. I believe however that Harv and some devs are taking 1 week off - so they shouldn't rush .21.2, enjoy their time off, they've already done an amazing job so far as an indie dev with only one game under their belt.

Forrest Kerman?

Inspiration for the 'Mun or Bust' title screen?

Is your backup copy an earlier version? If your main copy has mods, tha makes it load slower.

This addition can definitely be one for 0.22. Hopefully. -
Beeyootifull!

I primarily use it to remind myself what the action groups do. I would also like to see this description accessible through the map view knowledge base tab in-flight.

[.21.1] Is Avionics Package completely useless now?

Probe core for planes! -
Today, I tried to see what the heck is up with the SAS and looong loading times. Tried fresh install from steam, no mods two times, still SAS cannot solidly mantain a heading. However, when this issue gets (hopefully) resolved, I intend to do an Apollo style Mun landing, but with the components being launched up separately and meeting up in Kerbin orbit rendezvous.

[UNOFFICIAL/FANMADE] 0.22 Discussion thread
manskal replied to ngianoplus's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Unveiling of the mission control building? And since they updated the space center terrain, probably being in space center view allows game time to pass(time warp-able)? And TWEAKABLES! As well as moar info on the knowledge base and in editors about our crafts (weight, kerbal capacity, fuel capacity, stage part count). -
I actually try to build in escape systems for all my crewed missions, even before permadeath. However, when disaster really strikes, well, bugger all, they always seem to make it worse and crash Jeb with an even larger explosion. But I guess thats a pretty close semblance to an actual Kerbal escape system.

Green.... Green Everywhere... Either that or just little shacks. With sprawling underground bunkers. (They got used to random debris re-entering from space)

Hypothetical events after EA takeover of Squad: First - Squad will be renamed to EA [insert location name]. KSP will be released in its current alpha state as a finished game. All later updates will be sold as DLC (moar boosters? $4.99!) Squad (now EA [insert location name]) is ordered to work on an MMO. EA heavily hypes it, touts it as a game-changer. New features are revealed, such as full voice acting for EVERYTHING (even struts), choices (Do you want boosters[Y/N]) Amazing (pre-rendered) trailer reveal at E3, monthly subscription detailed. Game launches to massive disappointment as servers cannot handle the load. New, invasive DRM is required to be able to play the KSP MMO. The reviews start flooding in. The game is stale, derivative and repetitive. There is a massive outroar within the community. Players finish the game and move on. In a desperate attempt, EA opens up a cash shop and makes it F2P. Two years later, the last server is shut down. All the original Squad devs are fired. While all this is happpening, the KSP underground community still thrives. Playing the pre-EA version, mods are added where features are lacking. KSP lives on, and Jeb still lives on. Just don't let him near your crafts.

Wat about Jool's moons?
-
Why, you ask? SPACE!EXPLORATION!ROCKETS!PHYSICS!JEB! I think that pretty much sums up KSP for me.

One more question, Is it possible to land on the Mun (or any airless body) using low thrust engines like the ant? I don't intend on taking off though.
