  1. I was just wondering if having a really crappy TWR in vacuum really has a huge detrimental effect on the craft (IE reduced dV, loooooong burn times etc) or is it just negligible? What about landing on airless moons (Mun, Minmus)? Is having optimal TWR there as important as having optimal TWR on Kerbin?
  2. What about the oft-forgotten new 'End Flight' button that Harv's been working on?
  3. Yay Arianes (or should I say Kerianes)! Too bad my fave (the Ariane V) is not available yet.
  4. Doesn't the knowledge base in the tracking station/map view show which kerbals are on a given craft?
  5. Is it supposed to be a SSTO? Or is this just the core stage?
  6. Scott taught me loads of KSP stuff such as proper docking and rendezvous (not just screwing around with nodes and calling 20km encounters rendezvous). His content is also highly educational and his voice, well, one of a kind. I'd highly recommend him to newbs. Plus he doesn't seem to be allergic to mechjeb and mods in general.
  7. Bob: Heading steady, approaching gravity turn. Turning off ASAS for maneuver. *presses T* ASAS: kthxbai *rocket starts inevitably pointing towards the ground* Bob: ASAS? Stahp *presses T, makes it worse* Bob: STAHP -boom-
  8. Little Green Men On The Mun! Bob (possibly Bill, can't remember) the first Kerbal on the Mun in my old 0.18 demo save. Jeb, second on the Mun. He landed in an ill-fated RCS powered lander. Everytime I look at the Mun, I can see him, just screwing around. We will forever miss you Jeb. Until the administrators at KSC decide to clone Jeb #1493.
  9. Hai guyz, been lurkin the forums for a while, I recently bought KSP off Steam after getting hooked to the demo (played it a ton!). Hopin to join this awesome community and be able to support Squad in their development of KSP, and eventually conquer the world. As in the words of Kerbal Genius, Scott Manley, fly safe!
