  1. I already got it about a month after release while it was on sale for something like $25. It's pretty fun, got 100 hours in it, but it's mostly because I challenged myself to build all the great works, which I did.
  2. That actually looks like it. Thanks!
  3. So the title probably already confused you, so here's the backstory: When I was a kid, I would watch my big brother play all the popular games on his PC back in the early 2000s. He's the main reason I have Half Life 2, Call of Duty 1, Republic Commandos, Age of Empires 2, and many more. The funny thing is I discovered most of the games on my own years later, as I never knew the titles of the games when I first saw them. It's like a really drawn out scavenger hunt. But I still haven't found a star wars game that I really took an interest in, and I'm now resorting to forums. Here's the main details I remember: 1. It's an FPS 2. You use blasters, vehicles, and a light saber 3. There's an AT-ST in a desert/canyon mission, so most likely post-movie era 4. During a cutscene, the player walks into a bar and starts to talk to the bartender, who throws a glass he was washing offscreen, then shouts, "Jesse!" I remember that specifically because it was really funny for some reason. 5. When you get the light saber, it's on an elevated (possibly octagonal) platform, where walls lower over it when you get too close. You have to get it by getting a running start and jumping onto the platform, outrunning the walls. 6. I'd say the graphics were HL2-quality, and my brother plays everything on max settings. 7. I think the last boss was with a "dinosaur-looking" sith (that's how I described him back then, anyway) 8. Pretty sure there was multiplayer. I've scoured Steam, but I don't think it's on there. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  4. I love it to death, but my first play through was probably the worst thing I've ever done. I didn't even get that far, only to the alien base or whatever (it was a while ago). Then I used cheats to see the full story, then did it legit the third time. The only reason I haven't gotten the expansion is because I don't want to torture myself again. In short: Great game if you love steep learning curves. And I mean 90-degrees steep. Even on the lowest difficulty you're thrown into ridiculous situations.
  5. I wanna say the farthest was when I jetpacked a kerbal 30k to a Mun arch and plant a flag under it for future landings. The kerbal, Lanfrey, became my favorite kerbal and piloted a 15 kerbal colony (my avatar) right next to it.
  6. I drop this sucker on your "impenetrable" defenses Mine
  7. The signature? You need a minimum number of posts before you can add one (can't remember exact number, either 5 or 10). After that, click "Settings" in the top right, scroll down a little, and under "My Settings" click "Edit Signature"

My favorite part was when Leonidas didn't let the hunchback fight because he couldn't take part in the phalanx formation, even though they never correctly used it once after the first few minutes of the first charge. Seriously though, Leo dun goofed there. He could've led off for a lot longer if he was just like, "aw, who am I kidding? I don't even know what a phalanx is. I just like to look badass with absolutely no body protection except for my abs. You can fight after we break rank and should be overrun but don't because the plot demands we survive for a few days." Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie, it was entertaining, especially the montage of the different Persian enemies, which could've very much existed, considering the extent of the empire. But learning about the Battle of Thermopylae and then watching the movie makes the movie almost laughable.
  9. But the bright side is that meanwhile, at SQUAD headquarters...
  10. I had a conversation/debate with my sister about space exploration once. It was mainly about what triggers space exploration (not exactly that, but I've edited this post enough so I'm rolling with this). She argued that humanity could be much farther in space exploration if we didn't have wars, and I argued that the Cold War brought us to the moon less than a century after the plane was invented, and that if we didn't have wars or any violence we wouldn't have any reason to escape from Earth and reach for the stars as we would be living in a utopia (I was more or less playing the devil's advocate)
  11. "The Day The Earth Stood Still" remake it. Wipe out literally everything and start fresh.
  12. I once built a Mun colony that housed over two dozen kerbals (3 in the cockpit and 6 hitchhiker containers) that I've never legitimately got into orbit because it would break apart once I got to the upper atmosphere because I would go too fast. I've used hyper edit and I know it can land, but it doesn't count to me unless I do it modless.
  13. Moho. Use up too much fuel slowing down in interplanetary travel and end up with too little fuel for getting into orbit. Also, the Moholes.
  14. Are you even talking about China militarizing the moon or just ranting?
  15. I made an SSTO that got into an almost completely stable orbit (67k at the lowest point) on my first try, with no working SSTOs in the past. So yeah, I think I like it.
  16. Words per minute (WPM): 73 Keystrokes: 364 Correct words: 74 Wrong words: 0 You are better than 87.78% of all users (position 9776 of 80029 - last 24 hours) I used a Mavis Beacon program a few times and a typing class in school, but I never caught on. I started learning when I discovered Roblox back in 2008 (RIP old Roblox) and I learned how to type quickly without looking at the keyboard completely by chatting with other players.
  17. So I've noticed that quite a few players have had dreams about KSP, and I guess last night was my turn, so here it is: It started off with me launching a strange rocket from the space center (which was moved to Kerbin's largest continent in an open field, very close to a kerbal city). I say that it's strange because after a few thousand meters, the rocket tilted completely to the side, but continued going up. Then, just like a movie, the words, "SEVERAL MONTHS LATER" popped up, then disappeared, replaced by the Mk1-2 Command Pod traveling extremely fast (take the speed of free falling to Kerbin, then triple it) and crash in the water. But Kerbin was different. A giant black sphere called "Titanus" had seemingly crash-landed on top of the space center. In the distance, aliens were shooting green lasers at the city, followed by a mushroom cloud. When I checked the map, Kerbin was in an ice age, most of the surface covered in snow (including the space center area, but not the water). Have I witnessed a future update(s)? Or possibly the end of Kerbin?
  18. Haven't played since 2011, and even then I was done with the game. Too many trolls and idiots. The dev team ruined it with the hats and gear and trying to pressure as many people as possible to purchase builders club. Username is josh023 if anyone wants to visit my place.
  19. 2/10 pretty sure I've seen you before.
  20. What I played for a good portion of my childhood: Flash games. Free, most of them good, and can sink countless hours into the good ones. My favorite flash game site is Bubblebox. Try there first, and see where you branch off to.
  21. I feel like that isn't the exact quote...
  22. That was happening a long time before this update.
