  1. So not sure where to start on this to be honest i have a modded install but i'm not sure what mod could be causing the problem as when the crashes occur i get a mini dump file and and error.log but no output_log.txt Orginally i was having crashes when i transitioned from VAB to the launch pad i traced that to Kerbal Engineer Redux, I removed that mod and was able to launch but i crashed to desktop and this time there was no log file so i tried to launch again and this time the results were almost identircal except i was further into my orbital trajectory before it crashed. Second time no file. Should i uninstall and reinstall? At a bit of a loss on this one.
  2. Makes sense for now i'm just writing coordinates down from scan sat then entering them into mechjebs coordinate target. Then just used flags as targets from that point on.
  3. i have same setup and haven't had any issues so I have a feeling its not the mods them selves.
  4. With th eedesign of the UKS modules for 1.2 i'm wondering how people are landing these modules on planets i can see the cradles but how are people landing multiple modules together to form bases. Is it just using vtol engines and then disassembling them after wards? Just looking for some ideas for inspirations short of landing them and tipping them over unless thats the only solution at the moment?
  5. Thank you Nightingale for at least trying to explain it to others, this make s a lot of sense once you take a moment to read and not knee jerk react.
  6. need to reread and this and listen to those who have been working with this problem like @Mordrehl they are right about the cause.
  7. Beautiful mod and it makes sunset landings gorgeous. I almost forgot to deploy the chutes.
  8. I didn't change anything all i did was wait a day came back launched same piece and everything worked. So the beat goes on.
  9. Like i said i don't have enough to go with for all i know i may not have paid my dues to the gaming gods. I'll run some more tests try and get more data out of this.
  10. i would agree except they are both construction ports on both sides just one was put in orbit with using the version that came out right after the 1.2 dropped and the ones last night were the latest update.
  11. Having an odd error and it has to do with a station i built using the construction ports. I seem to not be able to dock station parts made with different versions of the ports. It sounds odd to me but i can't dock anyything to the ports at all my station has about 8 of them and none of them will recieve the incoming part. I looked at the log file and instead it's spammed with NREs. I figure ill try just scrapping the station and starting over or do a quick test in orbit of a simple station connection see if ports from the same version cn join or if I need to do a reinstall. Will post results back here. 12. Then your life and your universe must be extremely dull ROFL The poort kitty does it hurtz you
  13. sounds like a excrementsty mission....
  14. I alway sfind this ironic as we are playing a video game with simplified physics and vegetable men and women, not sure where realistic has any business but, i digress.
  15. How did you get that to detach from the base right now as soon as i attach the packrat parts to the base i can no longer detach them without sending the thing into orbit. I don't get the blue highlight that KIS uses to signal a detachable part. Did you use a decoupler? Also did your rear chasis part have a working generator? i'm beginning to think i have either a bad install of the explorer parts or maybe a bad KIS install.
