  1. Pretty sure this is already considert but we sure will need a refill button (and of curse charge us for it) for landed/stationary crafts at KSP at least in Mission Control. Maybe a Possiblity to Transfer Crew, too. Otherwise SSTO's would require us to "Spawn" the tanks to refill it and pay extra.

  3. Hi, i try to recreate the rover tutorial but when i try it says "not a number". works fine. So what am i doing wrong ? or did somethign change since the making of the ideo ? works for me... works for now... maybe someone can tell my why so... does not work.. i dont get this..

Primary Objectives: Mission Control is proud to announce that we not just exceeded the 5 Year plan but also lost not a single Astronaut in doing so. Evean in the face of severe buget cuts our engineers build a lander for less than half of the lowerd buget and succesful landet it on Duna twice! (As you can see in the offical press release there where some not so plesant test flights)

  7. Hi Forum, i just stumbled across this topic in the Orbiter forums. It seems to be the first release on KSP and has a lot of nostalgig stuff in it. But also some pure awsomeness. so i dare you to do this with everything that changed: Land on the VAB in 14 seconds or less. 3 Man capsule of course. +10pts Copycat the awsomeness +30pts launch stability enhancer aint no fun. -10pts every second less than 30 +10pts if you give me some good starting times i expand it to SPH or other buildings.
  8. Hey there, for the career mode i wanted a SSTO that can make it everywhere in Kerbins SOI and back. I startet of with one of my favorite SSTOS the Aeris 5 from Danger2007. I just made it an Airhogger and redid the tanks, i tried to make i run with aerospikes but had not too much success. It has KW Sturts and KSPX liquid fuel tank as an Drop Tank on it and mechjeb on it. So i could make it stock in like 5mins. Its still work in Progress so id like you to test it and maybe give me some useful tipps. 92 Parts 3,4Km/s left in 120Km orbit Ascent: 45° climb until ~13km then around 20° until your intake air drops to around 0.21 (if you get to 0.30 play around with the angle maybe) ignite the nuclear engine and keep on flying in an low angle until the jets engine flame out. then around 60° until apoapsis is around 50 and from there gravity turn. Action groups: 1 - Jet engine toggle 2 - Jet engine out / close intakes 3 - Nuke toggle craft: http://www./?5un0wydxra1rr7h Some tipps maybe ?

  11. wow, love this one Since you wrote this: how hard would a plugin be that allows us to unload/load vessels within the 2km distance? Would be very nice for big stations or bases.

  13. Tried to do this before and did recheck it now. It does say 1.4. KW, Kethane and KAS is installed. whoops i somehow undpack the archive into gamedata and then put blizzy into it. i did "patch" blizzy but not the other one... Found in the debug console an older version was loaded. so sorry bothering you.

  15. Hey folks, iam pretty exited about 0.22, some great things have been implemented. Other things are left to be done, ive seen mutible suggestions for a rockomax experiment and other to support long term missions or storage of experiments so i got this idea: How about a Hitchhiker lab. The idea is to make us rove/fly around a planet but to come back to a base or lander to analye and store experiments. Lets say we make it contain 3-5 surface samples with an possiblity to analyse the data and greatly reduce the penalety on Transmission. If we just send the data from a surface sample we should not get more than 5-10% but if we do it from after the analysis we get around 60-80%. So we just have to return the Kerbal home, if we make it resonably heavy so you dont just send one to every Biome. You could fly it Back but it should not make sense since we by then got other Storage options. Iam not a fan of Stations but i also could make Stations viable duo to the weight. Then we would have 3 Options: Return the Sample (we really need some kind of Storage/Transport for Samples), just send raw data, or send a Lab. Should not be hard to make and the only requirement would be enough Biomes to go to. What do you thing?
  16. Hey, today i hit a real cool aerobreake without fuek usage: I discovered that there is no such thing as an Atmosphere Message or reward in the since stuff, it still says near Jool. I think that should be added. In Laythe Orbit i get "temperature scan can't be done right now"
  17. oh, iam sorry i did not notice the upload did not work. Could it be that i did not rename the archive and just uploded it as M13 again ? I uploded it again just in case you still want to just it. Just put it aside if dont want to use it anymore.
  18. Mission #14 Complete! Mission Report: Designed the Minimus station and got it there with 2 Escpae/Rescue crafts tied to it (pretty neat ones!). Then i got bored and made a Minimus Kethane miner in small and got 4 Kilokethane up there. Lander and Rescue are working fine, well okay the Rescue craft was never tested but it would properly work out, i guess. But i messed up the Kethane Converter on the station since i build it the Kerbal way Oh, and while i assigned someone to the lander can he did not make it somehow, prop checking out the R&D desgins in Mission Control or something. My recording software does not like KSP and crashed pretty late so i just have very few shots. Stats Part Count: 128 all in all I've uploaded the save file to Official shared folder, Upload your finished archive to the folder Next Challenge: 1. Make the station go a nicer way not this ugly orbit i prefer something around 40k and 40° 2.Test the rescue craft, bring it down and up again! 3.Bring a second permanet Kerbal to the Station

  20. Yes! Especially with the new KAS 4.0. I think a "all in one" is possible but its just no fun if you want to store a few more t of rocket parts. i mostly use this: and a Ore mineing rover.or i make the Smelter to one big rover with Ore / Metal cans and a base with the tower and pad.
