  1. I've got a SUPER FAST Kethane Miner rover. Advantages:- 1) It got 4 big driller, that suck Kethane like crazy. 2) Huge tanks 4000 units of Kethane fill up in no time. 2) Its mobile. 3) Its can work on day and night. 4) Big wheels makes it easy to move on moon surface. 5) Applicable via KAS or Manual docking. (Configurable for sr/normal/jr docking port). 023-Kethane Driller Mk3_1
  2. Suggested Mun base location... 1) They are at high ground >4000m. Hence save fuel for taking off and landing. 2) They get the 1st light from the Kerbol (Sun), and longer expose to sun. 3) They don't get block by shadow of terrain. 4) You can have nice screen shoot with far away object such as Kerbin, Kerbol, Minmus.

  8. I need to do put a 'Pentagon(5) symmetric' for my craft design. I've seen a mod for that, but I completely forget the name. Just give me the link will do. (Reputation rewards for the 1st correct link. ). Thanks.
  9. Solution: You need to put "strut" on the part that it goes through. Reason: Too much thrust it bend the structure of your rocket. Why: Because you get lighter, and the thrust get stronger, but your structure integrity remain the same.

Challenge timeframe:- Challenge Start: 14-Jan-2014 Challenge End: 28-Jan-2014 Challenge Instruction:- Create a SSTO (Single Stage to Orbit) "Air+Space Craft" using at least a new R.A.P.I.E.R. engines. Challenge guideline. 1) Single Stage to Orbit. (Means stage 0 only) 2) You must start from the runway. Liftoff horizontally and able to land horizontally. Challenge Rules. 1) No science equipments required. (No bonus for that, but if you like it, why not?) 2) There will be poll-voting. After challenge close 28-Jan-2014. Only challenge participant are allow to vote. Poll will be public. 3) You are allow to use any part, stock or mod, but keep at least 1(One) R.A.P.I.E.R. Engine. And must specify which/what mod you have used. So other can have a chance to test flight your SSTO. 4) Maximum parts allows 200. 5) No Alt-F12 part clipping. (Normal means part clipping allow). 6) A screenshot of your craft established standard LKO (min. 70x70km) and .craft file must be made available. 7) Flight ascend (takeoff) profile must include in in-game .craft description. Winning reference. 1) Make an SSTO that everybody love. 2) Try to promote your SSTO to participant. Due to only participant are allow to vote. 3) You are allow to change your .craft (posted) (to draw in more vote) until the timesup, challenge close. 4) Only 1 submission per participant. 5) Try to include your SSTO flight statistic, such as description, usage, part count, weight, action group key etc...so, other will be interest in your SSTO. Winner rewards. 1) A logo showing (Your Forum ID) that you are capable of creating a R.A.P.I.E.R SSTO. 2) There will be top 3 winner!. 3) "Star" rewards for video recording.✪ Congratulation for the Winner. inigma 2 votes.   15. Manage to get your craft to the LKO in shorter time. But use more fuel.
  16. Sorry, not in this challenge thread. Perhaps you could start your own challenge thread to challenge other for greatest range SSTO.
  17. Pitty myself. I don't know what to say. Admire your enthusiasm. A word or two...simple, Ion engines does not work well on high mass (Heavy) craft.
  18. I bump myself for helping a kid to build a non asparagus staging, 10 ton lifter. there was such a disappointment that he don't even try to load my craft,( after unable to load in VAB,) Man that was a subassembly craft.
