  1. there is none, those clouds are simply ARENT there, they also dont move as clouds, they move slower, the image you see above is that way becouse i timewarped for 2-3 seconds, maybe we are looking in the wrong direction, perhaps its a map error that appear as clouds
  2. just did, i have re installed eve and this mod, deleted the clouds cfg, planet factory cloud cfg from the cloud folder, as you said no other cloud cfg should be there http://i57.tinypic.com/30sjz4m.png"]; high res version, the blue ones are fake ,rotate slower, also has the same map as the real clouds, i have eve LOW RES though, maybe installing ba high res over eve low res couses this, but then again BA low res also had the same issue

Yup, .../boulderCo/clouds >> cloudLayers-BetterAtmospheres.cfg and textures file, original eve file doesnt have anything else on clouds, perhaps my better BA config file is somehow messed up? i first installed high res, it became a bit bad for FPS, i installed low res, it gave me those black clouds i mentioned in the dev thread, i re instealled high res, i am doing fine, no black clouds but exacly the same problem, i also mentioned this on the dev thread as well ( same problem also happened in low res version) perhaps my cfg file is somehow messed up, the only editing i have made to this pact was deleting city lights DLL on EVE, and pretty certain that has nothing to do with this problem. perhaps you can upload your on CFG and ill see if thats the source of my problem http://postimg.org/image/xgfp1z55v/full/ here is the low res vesion of this bug, on clear day light, the clouds that arent suppose to be there are blue and they rotate slower then the REAL white clouds
  4. i have the same bug, the only cloud cfg file i have is better atmospheres, 56 KB
  5. you can search trough the files, ksp and ksp mods format is really simple, thats how i dealt with b9, i personely dislike all the over hyped stuff for that mod , so i only keep the wings, some lights, landing gear, airbreaks,intakes, and mk27 command pod becouse its usefull for asteroid missions. you can do the same for everything , deleting city lights or some other textures in texture mods or parts for the part mods that you dont use can be deleted, switching to agressive texture management (i really hate IVA with that) and low res texture mods can help. But the main problem is, so many mods that we enjoy... it think squad should just upgrade the memory and part management of the game , i mean come on counting down all files before start,last time i saw this was a game released before 1999, very low memory limit? yes they make a great game but their abilities in programming and file code management is questionable. i am no master genius of programming and never claimed to be , but wit h the popularity and money they are getting hiring some people with expertise might help.
  6. want phase 3 ,so awesome work, i have a question though, is there gonna be an adapter or somethinhg between stock (or non stock) ROUND shaped parts and your station parts, i never really use parts from one particuler mod, i make combinations. i would also like to know if your docking parts can work on stock or other mods docking modules? Hello guys, i made a new plane today capable both as top speed traveler and SSTO, for ssto simply remove the tail and add a rapier or rocket engine, i want to thank RoboRay for his awesome wing idea that gave me the inspriation, as ssto, can simply go and carry some more stuf and crew, has more then enough lift and fuel , for ssto it can keep engines running at minimal power up to 49 kms and a little more then 2.000 surface m s speed.i think its capable of flying beyond orbital speeds when low on fuel , it becomes so light and lifts so smoothly, files really well and stable, minor adjustments can be made, it really feels like i won the game, i used this mod mainly, some stock and B9 intakes, air breaks, landing gear,sn struts Yaw controls slighly pushes the nose down due to top wings being high over the center of mass, under 4x physical time warp sudden turns can still break it down, side note : i am sorry for posting long posts whenever i try to make these list of images, i really dont know hw people use the imgur slayt show style i would also love your great Name ideas for something like this, my previous favorite was Aurora, i could use something that ends with the same tone and sounds nice
  8. i am sorry if i am making an apperance as the guy who keeps having bugs and whines about them but i have tested everything i had, there is one more problem bmp resim yükle"], there appears to be an another cloud layer as shown slightly Blue ish, again no detectable layer, and its technicly not a cloud, it does not appear in game and on planets it appears only when i am looking at kerbin from a far, the blue and white layers(the real clouds) have exacly the shame shape and map, but becouse clouds move faster then planets rotation the image gets un synced after a short period of time, i am getting the feeling better atmosphere doesnt like me
  9. Hello, im so thrilled for this new update but it appears it did NOT fix an old issue i was having, the black smoke of DEATH is back. Here is some pictures of the situation, also the reason why even the smoke looks so ****ty and squared is i am using low res EVE and low res pack of BAV5. These death cloudes cover an area of several kilometers of sky arraund my vehicle, clouds do follow my vehicle so it is impossible to get out from this nightmare creep look without ascending from atmosphere. Laythe has the same problem, i did not tested this in Jool's low atmosphere/surface , atmosphereless planets appear just fine, , Kerbin (had no issues before )has a similar issue and those white stoches of so called day cities that appear on SEAS .(i think we are waiting on EVE 8 to catch up to solve this and volumetric joolian clouds ) Black skies at surface levels and several kilometers More distant version Eve's black cloudes from afar, clearly the density of these clouds is related to atmospheres characteristics Eve probe meets the devil This is my current solution alt N>do no changes, just click save > load the save file> problem solved , problem comes back each time i go to map view or leave to space center or switching to other vessels, From a vessel that is waiting on the runway, kerbin doesnt have an entire black smoke waiting on top of you but rather reguler clouds turning black when up close. Clouds turning slowly to grey and toward white as you move away/zoom away Reguler and no issue textures on orbital heights There is no distinguishable layer i can delete to make this go away in E.V.E. controll menu, clouds that are distant are normal they turn black and move over you as they get close, alt N saves and playing generally at high altitude spaces allows me to actualy enjoy the game, i have had very little issues with krakens from the first moment i got into this game, this smoke beats every kraken This problem existed in BAV4 as well, i dont remember if it existed back in the times when i only used EVE deffault, i belive it didnt Side notes: i would love to see an medium resolution textures for both EVE and BA, high res is too awesome my fps drops significantly, low res is too bad but i run the game flawlessly (odd thing is low res 2.90-3.00 gb ram use, high res 3.20-3.40 gm ram use, i know it pushes to obsolute limits in high res but can really 20-40 mb of ram memory couse all the frame drops, lags, and slowing down the computer for several minutes after shut down of ksp program-using high res)-and if i could just see land masses on laythe that would be great - otherwise this is fantastic, great work on everyone who contrubitued directly or indrectly sorry for spelling and other errors of all sorts--- thanks

  11. yes finally, buıt i cant downlaod becouse ... too much traffic and curse not working, i hope these additinoal mods i have to download wont screw up mmy prreferences, i couldnt care less about texture replacers kerbals and more adds of custom asteroids and terraforming tool, just want the BA, perhaps keeping only their dlls would do the trick
  12. i really like this mod its awesome and so simple it beats b9s complexity and does the same gameplay without 250 parts and mind blows, however there should be a problem, no matter what and how i build my planes, they dont put their nose UP during take off and i have to move all the way to the end of the runway, even after when i do take off, my planes nose always wants to pitch down, if i stop pressing s it keeps pushing progreade vektor down. i am not certain every plane i ever build with this mod is bad or something wrong with parts? does anyone else have this or similar stabilty problems i would also love new engine components, rapieres thrust is worthless with the amount of fuel and payload i can add
  13. really do ignore him, i personely like great dark spots. and thank you for additional config release, what files keep those white stoches on map anyway? if its daytime city files there is a problem, when i delete them kerbin and laythe appears standart EVE , no better atmosphere, fighting with these and similar map problems for a while now, i hope new updates will fix this stuff

Before the release i just want to say something, these really look beautifull, however it negatively impacts gaming, especily laythe, while eve is understandable and i dont usualy do manned ( return from) missions to eve, thick atmosphere is understandable and high concentration of land ensures your probes usualy dont land on liquid, however laythe becomes a serious problem, i cant see land masses, its atmosphere isnt so thick but i cant see anything, yes i agree it looks beutifull but i cant see where to land, i think it would be possible to balance visuel and gaming but again it is your profesion and your decicion , just stating my feedback i also would like to keep v4 jool, looks so nice, the version in the trailer while rings are great, looks dead with those colours and modelling
  15. dot is only for scanned areas i think i dont need to play with seed thhough, even laythe has some hexagons over its beatuifull islands. you should try it, abilty to mine kethane or create permanent re fueling stations everywhere, anyhow thank you for your help, on a side note, i hope future updates bring a new model of kintake engines, really unreiable, sudden drop to 0 no slow decreasement in kintake makes it unpredictiable also engines doesnt start back on even when you fall down.
  16. random characters represent the relations (how disclosed they are or their positions with respect to others arraund) betwen scanned and unscanned areas. a dot represents a scanned area, not nessecearly a kethane deposit or an empty , dot means scanned, no relation to deposit or empty area, the actual map of kethane is represented by "seed" i dont know how on this or how it decides the number of deposits,but it randomly generates a seed for a planet and seed is how the map is formed
  17. Deposits are the amount of kethane in area with kethane, if you fully scan kethane map of planet you will see kethane is clustered in central areas rather then scattered acrooss, each deposit number is the amount of kethane in a cluster of kethane area
  18. by any chance can you add a 3.75 meter version of this in the future updates? the size of nasa parts , i use them a lot and it could come quite handy
  19. edit:I HAVE DONE IT, it was fairly hard but you need to put exacly 1.708 dots in place of 1.708 characters (A's if not scanned) but you shouldnt miss any space or move any other character in the file, just replace every character with same number of dots and nothing should move from their place, other planets lines can guide you, if you do it false kethane will be resetted and your current number of scan will be lost, thats why you take a backup. remember to exacly replace it ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ here is exacly 1.708 dots also, i have not testd editing deposit amounts and seeds therefore not aware of their consuquence and i also dont know why the dots seem spaced in groups, just delete the spaces and replace

Yes but scan mask is represented by 1.708 characters, if everything is empty non scanned its all AAAAAAAA..., if some parts are scanned it adds various characters of no pattern, in an other forum post it was said that full stops (.) represent fully scanned areas, now when i fill it with that my grid looks unscanned, when i exit the game and come back to persistant file its all replaced by A's again, perhaps you know how should i edit it?

Hello i have several questions, is there a save file related to kethane overlay grid scanning? so far i havent found anything related, the game obviously saves my scan so it must be somwhere, i would like to edit it so i can get maximum or enough of scan of any planet , my time on computer is limited and i wish not to spend hours on just watcihng my probe orbit, , if nothing helpfull ,will scanning for planets possible when you are not actualy piloting the ship in future updates, like passive scan, if still not maybe new scaning parts or models that allow faster scan without skiiping hexes or increasing the scan beam radius thank you in advance
