From when I first figure out how to install Mods... and apparently the screenshot button. c. 2013 This was my huge Capital ship the "SS Verdent (Verdun? Veridian? Something like that) (Huge as in, the launcher to get that into orbit was insane, cause it had to go up in one piece, 2013 me did not know how docking works) With the Kethane Mod, and a limitless source of Fuel, I planned to go far, I would finally reach another planet, first we would go to Duna... then maybe Jool! There were big expectations for that mission... It ended up running out of fuel once I got to the Mun... (planned to deploy the mining ship, and top of before Duna..) the "SS Something that begins with a V" ended its short career crashing into the surface of the Mun... taking 7 Kerbals with it... Still haven't made it to Duna :/

How long have you kept a vehicle design?
Rainbow-Dashie replied to DunaRocketeer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I have my good old' KUV (Kerbal Utility Vehicle). Basic design hasn't changed much (Though it did recently shed a few parts to better fit the new cargo ramp), and I have various models for various jobs, which basically involve replacing the back seats with whatever I need at the time (Fuel tanks, science stuff, etc.). It's just my basic workhorse of a vehicle, refuels planes, used as lunar rovers (There is one on Duna, but thats more because I underestimated fuel for the trip, and jettisoned everything but the crew capsule to abort the mission and head home, but the KUV is still there... fully operation and ready to go... just waiting.) -
How 'environmentally conscious' are you?
Rainbow-Dashie replied to mangekyou-sama's topic in KSP1 Discussion
The landscape of Kerbin is littered with rocket debris, crashed aircraft, a satelite that somehow fell out of orbit in one piece (just... how?), a de-orbited space station debris field, and all sorts of bits and bobs floating off the KSC coast.... And then you actually get into orbit, oh jeez.... -
Starstreak low-drama SSTO trainer
Rainbow-Dashie replied to Foxster's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I love Compact craft for some reason, this is nice. -
The kerbal time capsule project
Rainbow-Dashie replied to SpaceSphereOfDeath's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Wow this was a cool idea 0_0 Thank you cave-people from the ancient past of 2013! Like the actual Space program... KSP has come along way... -
What will you do differently in your next career?
Rainbow-Dashie replied to eddiew's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I swear to Jeb I will finally do my Space Plane Focused Career Run.... THE SHUTTLES WILL BE BUILT! I know I said this back when the tech tree was still new.... and when improved aerodynamics came out... and when KSP went to BETA.... and when it went to full release... and any time new airplane parts where added.... and last update with fixes to heating.... BUT THIS TIME WILL BE THE TIME! (There are new aircraft parts! ) -
A spaceship powered by the undead Moon Zombies.... You know you've spent to much time on these forums when that suggestion doesn't even faze you.

Thoughts on stock communication system in ksp 1.1
Rainbow-Dashie replied to ouion's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I love this idea, and can't wait to see it in game. But at the same time, with the new aero model, and now this... I can feel myself slipping down the learning curve -
The Entire Air Arm of my Space Program is stationed on that little runway island off the coast. When I test my planes/Spaceplanes/Shuttles, the test is "If it can make it half a mile to the airfield, I'm sure it can make it to Eve and back!" I don't recover them once they land (unless they... don't "land") they sit their until I need them.

Are you refering to that "Hardly Rocket Science" comic thats been dead for a while? Or some other Kerbal Comic? If it's a new one i don't know about... SPILL THE BEANS!
-
I gave Val a fair shot, piloted my 1.0 career's first mission to the Mun... Long story short, it went boom and Jeb had to pilot the rescue mission (being the only other Pilot). Did not make a good first impression...

[WIP] Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Challenger-1
Rainbow-Dashie replied to andrew123's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Ah, the Challenger. The finest piece of English killing machines... Except for the Challenger 2. God save us, the queen can clearly take care of herself! -
Tank - AMX-G2 A big target !
Rainbow-Dashie replied to ZLM-Master's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
There seems to be a large influx of tanks being built recently... WHAT R U PEOPLE PLANNING!? Though I'm always impressed with these tanks (even if they may be used in some kind of upcoming Kerbal War...), working turrets, very nice looking, and of course... CANNONS! -
How's your memory usage in 1.0.4?
Rainbow-Dashie replied to Rosco P. Coltrane's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I honestly never had any problems before, and haven't had any recently. -
That's a very... interesting shape 0_0 http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/634/133/be3.gif But I do like the SWAAAAARM OF DOOOOM!

Stupid things you noticed too late in a Mission
Rainbow-Dashie replied to Leoworm's topic in KSP1 Discussion
"Prepare for final descent... chutes deployed... velocity at 3/ms... and we have touch down. Duna Recon Mission 1 has safely landed... Prepare Rover for deployment... Wait, we did remember to pack the rover, right guys?... right?" -
KSP Twitter- "We've got something planned later today"
Rainbow-Dashie replied to Jodo42's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Asteroid Day, sounded like a fun day to learn about and study asteroids! But turns out it's about keeping those little buggers from killing us all... this not bode well for the well being of my Kerbals... -
How do you used your Round-8s today?
Rainbow-Dashie replied to EdusacconBR's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I think Squad was intending to do exactly that... but people love their Donut Tank. I like it as well, I just never get around to using it... -
Work-in-Progress [WIP] Design Thread
Rainbow-Dashie replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
This is the first proto-type of a new "AVE" (Advanced Exploration Vehicle, We'll name it something cool later). Requirements are, must hold a crew of at least 6, be amphibious (We'll get to Laythe one day...), be able to carry and operate with a reasonable load of science gear or mining equipment, and most importantly... look cool. And here we have the bits and bobs to provide movement in the water (or if we just want to go a bit faster) So far things are looking good. Enough room for the crew or equipment. Actually drives. And it can move 2m/s in water! Just need to tweak a few things, add a bit more floaty bits to the front end (dips down a bit in the water), fix it's tendency to flip over in turns, and decide on how we want to power this sucker. -
Sherman VC Firefly (Tank Replica)
Rainbow-Dashie replied to zekes's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
British modified tanks. Comes with free tea. Most produced 17-pounder armed vehicle. Coincidence? I THINK NOT! Also nice looking sherman Kind of looks like it's just a short step away from being an M18 hellcat as well. -
Can we plz dig out the Space Shuttles from the back room

That every once in awhile, while de-orbiting around Kerbin, I'll time warp while in map view and then blow up for some reason... though I've learned to avoid that by gradualy slowing down time warp as I approach the atmosphere... still annoys me sometimes.
