Granted but, your wit is so dry, you become the old weird dude down the street. I wish I would stop playing KSP so much and get some sleep for once.

I got my refueling station orbiting Minmus. I have already had a couple Kethane transports arrive topping off the LOX. Now, to top off the Mono.
-
Thanks to my mobile Kethane miners, I have successfully filled up my stations orbiting Kerbin and Mun. Now, to send a station out to Mimnus, get her topped off... From there... We venture out.
-
I built my first Kethane miner. Worked good. I did not make sure that it had enough support from RCS and torque to turn quick enough with docking. Made a larger one, with plenty of torque. Making my first supply dock orbiting Mun.
-
I found out about the rover instability issue too. 4-wheel braking and 4-wheel steering is not a good thing at times.

Other than the mod that was suggested, this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have to say, I am constantly amazed at all the add-ons that are available. If you can think of it, there is an add-on for it. I bet there is an add-on that allows Jeb to moon everyone.
-
Thanks. That just may be what I am looking for.

How would I calculate how much thrust I would need for a given mass? I have a lander that I am modifying for Kethane mining but the original engines on it are no longer strong enough to get the lander off the ground. How can I calculate how much thrust I would need in order to get it off the ground? I would appreciate it if the insults can be kept to yourself, please. I asked a question before on another topic and was insulted because I did not already find the answer previously. I would appreciate it if you can answer my question, then please do. If you are going to insult me, I ask that you do not respond at all. Thanks

Go figure. I was mulling it over in me head on the hour drive back home and thought it would be interesting. I can see how it would be a huge undertaking but, would be well worth it when finished. If it is to be, then it is to be. If not, oh well.

I did a quick check and did not see this. I had the idea on the way home from a late night server call. I had the thought of having like a multi-player aspect. Say a friend and I decide to team up at the same time and launch our rockets, dock, land on planet x, build a base, etc. Granted, longer missions would be an issue and time warp would be needed. As for close stuff, I think it could be doable and give another layer of fun to the game.

After having problems docking with my station, I realized that my computer was getting taxed due to the high number of parts. I sent a few, ok, 5 retrieval missions to retrieve all the inhabitants of the station home before dismantling it. Once dismantled, I sent another mission to take the pieces into a degrading orbit so they will crash down rather than sticking around as debris floating around. Now, to work on a new station design that wont tax my computer as much when docking with it for fuel or whatever.
-
Once again, I made it to Minimus. This time, I not only survived orbit, I landed. Returned safely back home shortly after.
-
I created my first aircraft. While playing with it, I decided to see how fast I could go. I topped out at 1669mps. If the website I found is accurate, that stands at Mach 4.905. I am going to see if I can squeak any faster after a few modifications. I took this just after I flamed out before I took the screen shot. I had enough fuel to go around the world 1 1/2 times.
-
After much failure, and help from Mechjeb, I have successfully orbited a satellite into Mun orbit. My delivery capsule not only got there, made orbit, deployed the satellite but, returned home safely and still had half a tank of fuel left. Granted, we had a mishap at an EVA. The capsule was moving on its axis at the time I let go. It was a hassle getting back and getting back inside but, we left with 3 and returned with 3.

I successfully completed my first dock. I am so drained by how stressful it was and how long it took, I am tired and ready for a nap. I was trying to go by the tutorial, I was just having the worst time getting everything to work out right. I did the next best thing, lined up the orbits, waited until I got close enough to work with and about pulled my hair out from there on in until I bumped into the other orbiter and suddenly everything lined up right.
-
Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!111!1!1!1!1 Just made my first successful dock. I am drained from the stress of getting everything lines up right. It just so happened, trying to move into position, we bumped and wouldn't you know it? Straight shot in!

I have checked out some of the add-on's. I am still a little overwhelmed at the plethora of stuff I have to work with now. When I get a little more comfortable, I will add some stuff.
-
With me, it depends on what I am intending on the use for. The usual stuff most of the time; Orbit, Sat, etc. Numbers for the versions, lower case letters for minor changes to the version. Uppercase letters for extras, (B for boosters, D for dock, etc)

Thank ya! I have not racked up as many hours. I am taking it slow. I have 2 capsules in orbit now that I am about to try and dock for the first time. As they are closing the distance to each other, I am putting my first satellite in orbit. This game amazes me how fun it is without really needing much math. I know as I progress, I will but, for now, I am just flying by the seat of my pants.

Hello everyone! I thought I would say hello. I have been playing KSP for a few months off and on. I have played with the demos for a while and got a good feel for it. I finally broke down and bought the game the other day. I was overwhelmed with how much more parts you get I about felt the same as I did when I first played the demo. I am getting a hang of it. How is everyone else doing?
