  1. Just updated ksp, and it have experimented with asteroids, and i have already managed to set a big rocket on a small asteroid and get it to dres, so i can't see how this is impossible. And if you can refuel as many times as you want, well it isn't that hard then.
  2. Well this is not a tug, more of a base. I recently found a 3700 tonnes asteroid in a nearly circular kerbin orbit (don't know if that is a glitch or not) And sat a little spacecraft on it. Bill is currently inside the spacecraft waiting for more modules to arrive.
  3. This challenge is very simple, but still very hard to get done. The challenge : (1) Take an asteroid from kerbol orbit and get it to kerbin orbit (2) Equip the asteroid with many fuel tanks and engines (3) Take the asteroid spaceship to eeloo You can refuel as many times as you want and are allowed to use planets to slingshot yourself. 100 points if you get to eeloo 50 points for every planet (exluding kerbin) you visit on the journey 100 points if you manage to land the asteroid on eeloo (nearly impossible) There will also be points on if you use a larger asteroid than a small one, but i do not really know which asteroid type is named which because i have not updated ksp yet. As soon as i update ksp i'll too do this challenge, good luck everyone.
  4. The KSS a part of the KCP (Kerbin collaboration program) in my roleplaying site (link can be found in my description)
  5. So i wanted to make a crew transfer thing for my spacestation on my roleplaying site (link can be found in my signature) And i thought, why not do it with style? So well i started designing a rocket that could do that. It's still in early prototype but here's some footage i took : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8lEHPdYq_Q I'm working on a couple of things, like how to get 100% of the fairing off and how to stop it from leaving pieces of debris in kerbin orbit. But all in all it is pretty functional. When this rocket is more finished i'll post it here!
  6. I tried this... and failed miserably. My SSTO ran out of fuel at 75.000m and feel back to kerbin. Jebediah did survive, however the payload did not :/ (I had to detach it so jebediah could survive) The SSTO i used was a work in progress so it was not near done. I'll be trying this mission again later.
  7. Earth has too many sattelites, many sattelites are actually coliding into eachother :|
  8. I love this! Very very awesome way to document your career mode. However, i think that even tought jeb dropped out of the space programs, the kerbals would still have kerbin and mun mappings.
  9. Docking is easy, rendevouzing is haard. You will easly learn how to dock. And after a few times with mechjeb you will learn rendevouzing by yourself.
  10. Using them just to recover probe parts using airplanes.
  11. Well i did once launch 48 sattelites into orbit using just a single launch...
  12. Love this I feel sad for bob. But what i'm wondering, where is jeb? He is like the most awesome expert kerbonaut of all!
  13. Uhm... think it was the day after 0.16 was released.
  14. I have been experimenting with this technology, and i managed to make a kraken drive making the ship spin around, it may be usefull for large ships so they just can spin around until they get in the right heading and stops the spin with timewarp.
  15. This challenge is not impossible, i once managed to make a space station with 3 modules in 44 minutes only using ion engines to dock.
  16. The title says it, build a space station BUT you can't use rcs to dock, not liquid engines either, only ion engines! From the time you are 100 m away from the station you can't use liquid engines or rcs any longer. You need to make a new save, after that you have 4 in game hours to make the biggest space station You get 20 points for each module added. You get 30 points if the station is in a 70-100 km orbit You get 40 points if the station is in a 100-500 km orbit You get 55 points if the station is in a 500-2000km orbit You get 70 poins if the station is in a 2000+ km orbit For each tonn of weight of your final station you get 1.5 points. Start Competing! Scoreboard : 1. 2. 3.
  17. You know you play too much ksp when you make a roleplaying site using weebly.
