x2! I've been playing the Linux version forever. Got a new PC with windows and the KSP Windows version just crashed non-stop at least once every hour... Even with no mods!! So, new Linux partition, back to KSP 64-bit on Linux. No problems, no crashes, plays perfectly and I run almost 2 dozen mods. In fact, I leave KSP running for days on end. I just pause it, minimize and do other stuff, then reopen and carry on. KSP Windows sucks... Edit: Correction, I'm using almost 50 mods lol -

Actually, they're already planning a new gas planet -> http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Gas_planet_2 It will be outside the orbit of Jool. Eeloo will become one of it's main moons, but it will have a total of 20 new moons. Can't wait! -

Ummm, no, sorry dude but no. It doesn't fit with any of the things that they've hinted at... How would players "have fun with this"? "It's a small feature built upon a large amount of code which will allow us to make the 0.26 main feature (For which the massive art project begun) " That doesn't fit at all with your theory... The code is already there to run out of money, and I doubt making a player go bankrupt requires a "large amount of code" Also "hilarious results" doesn't fit with bankruptcy... -

Nice one! I like the design of the Carlson with the pod on the bottom. I assume you transferred the science from Peters to the Carlson before returning to Kerbin? You did you leave the science in Duna orbit? -
Spacecraft wobbles at a stack decoupler

Try using Kerbal Joint Reinforcement. Works great and helps with wobbles by strengthening decouplers and interstages, which in real life are quite a bit stronger than the ones in KSP. Doesn't help much with docking ports but that's fine. It also stabilizes your ship when you come out of warp or load the ship by making it temporarily indestructible and turning off the physics. It then makes your ship "destructible" again and slowly ramps up the physics back to normal. This prevents large ships from exploding, or parts breaking off, or weird bends and spins when you load it or come out of timewarp. -
I will just keep playing.... I will redo my trip to all the planets and moons, but only because I want to land and takeoff on the bodies with atmospheres using a plane this time. But, I would do that in the current version too so.... Not like I'm waiting for .25 to come out or anything. Honestly, I'm not expecting much from it.

Oddly enough, I'm quite happy with the game and have no issues other than ubio welding not working right... I run about 2 dozen mods but I can't really complain about anything at this point. If they implement some of the mods into stock game then fine, if not, they work anyways so I'm happy either way However, parts taking damage and needing repairs could be cool, instead of just blowing up. -

Sweet! Thanks for this! I was just asking yesterday for something EXACTLY like this! I found another mod that adjusts brightness but it also made everything else darker. Now I have a reason to install lights again! YAY! -
Ah hah! I found an even better mod! AmbientLightShifter! Makes dark even darker, which is exactly what I was looking for! Lit up areas stay the same brightness, but shaded or unlit areas are much darker. Love it! Adds a whole new element without darkening the rest of the game. The new explosion animations didn't give it away? It's a blast radius for explosions. The bigger the tank, the bigger the boom, causing more damage to other parts, potentially setting off a chain reaction if you have many large tanks. A precursor to damageable parts and atmospheric reentry damage (although I hate using the term "reentry" for any atmospheric entry, you know what I mean). Skilled players will likely not encounter this. When was the last time a "skilled" player blew up on the launch pad? It's been a long long time for me... -

I agree about the location of the hatch door. However, you can slightly rotate either the command pod or the hitchhiker module so that the ladders line up. SHIFT+Q or E Still annoying though... -

Thanks guys! I'm definitely getting a lot of good feedback on this! Sorry there wasn't much the last couple of days but, real life gets in the way sometimes. I'm working hard on future updates and the interior shots. I'm also planning my storyline updates to be a bit more in-depth with some better writing styles by using more narrative instead of drawing mostly from dialogue. I didn't originally plan for very much story telling but I've just been rolling with it and I've had so many ideas popping into my head. Glad you're enjoying, stay tuned for more! -
No no, I completely agree that it should be a stock feature. I was just giving the OP an intermediate option to use until something like this gets implemented. I too thought the same thing but then started using SPO and I'm quite happy with it. If Squad implements something similar then I'd be happy and I'd definitely use the stock feature. But for now, SPO does exactly what I need.
