Well done. Just now I saw it, but I'm at work, I'll try it tomorrow, I don't think the fuel transfer is necessary.

I wasn't able to beat Jason's TTR time, but thanks to his RCS idea I was able to improve my TTR time by one second. EDIT: Ops, didn't observed the speed dropped under 0.5m/s a few seconds before 5:00, anyway, please update my times.

Don't forget to update my time, with the one from the movie (5:32 I guess).

Well done metaphor, I was keeping that method for later use. It's done without any ..... "hijinx" and without using the station to alter the orbit. I'll post a movie too later.

I guess it was kinda obvious that we are not allowed to alter the orbit using the station, that's not smart and that guy destroyed the challenge by doing that. EDIT: If that's allowed, you can remove my time from the leaderboard.

My first try, probably I can do much much better. I'll also post a movie later, I don't want to steal from anyone the joy of designing his own procedure for this challenge.

It looks like Jason gave up and no one else is trying it. I was expecting more competition, I even linked it to some people on twitch. Here's a new entry from me. I suggest you to leave only one entry from each person on the leaderboard. EDIT: I guess my last entry proved that rendezvous is optional if you go for a good TTD. =)) =)) Now seriously, you could probably change TTR to 5:20, but it doesn't really matter.

I think you might have got wrong the quicksave remark, it's not against the rules and it was a compliment. Still, since everyone can copy my rendezvous method, only the maneuvering skills matter anymore and I fell that quicksave removes even that from the challenge. Thank you. I've played Orbiter for a long time before.

Hello, I've started writing things on this forum and I though it would be nice to also say hello, so here I am. I've played KSP for about 3 weeks, if I remember right. I've got to every planet and moon, but now I've got a little bored of the orbital mechanics part of the game, so most of the time I just build crazy stuff. Can't wait to try this tomorrow (I'm at work right now ). But your rules allow for some very ... unconventional designs. I suggest you to change them to allow only runway takeoffs and landings, without any separation and without any damage to the aircraft being allowed ... in case you want something more serious. (since your plane looks kinda ... serious) If you like crazy stuff, that's fine too, I already have some ideas and I'll enjoy it more than using a ... conventional design.

Thank you for your appreciation. It was only my second attempt (first one was to get an idea about the distances/burn times), I didn't wanted to make it unfun for the potential competition. So I hope more people will try this and eventually even beat my times, so I have a reason to do it a few more times.
