how are you doing with that? i tried it a few months ago and got stuck with an error during the Apollo missions, but had no time to fix it. It was one of the reasons why i initially tried to run all three of the historic packs, to see if i could fix it, and maybe try to make an extremely basic "kerballed" pack, using idea's from each of the packs, and making basic missions to space, moons and eventually all the planets. It wouldn't be based on real missions, but it would be a crewed mission pack.

question, if i install this mod, and use it on my crafts, and share it, would it be considered a stock ksp craft file, and use the decouple shrouds that are normally in game? so, if i made a craft with this, I could share it with a freind that uses stock (with dlc), but no mods or would they have to install the mod?

Hi @Bartt , I have a few questions, first the simple stuff: do you have the latest contract configurator installed and module manager? it looks like you may not have contract configurator installed. What other contract packs do you have? if you have Contract Pack : historical Progression or Contract Pack : historic Missions, they are currently in-compatible (they don't work with this contract pack). If you have Kerbalism installed, it dose not work with contract configuator. Finally, if that dose not work out, can you post a screenshot of your gamedata folder, and contract packs folder and post your log which is in the main folder and is named ksp.log (you may need to post it in pastebin and share it as a link).

Ok, i figured out the problem, after digging through the logs i found that a few names of agents were the same names as the other historical packs, after deleting those packs, the contract pack came up!

For me, what got me into the game was watching Lore play it before he joined blizzard as their Pr person. He was having so much fun! So i got the demo, and within an hour or so, i bought the game with my remaining money i had. I have played thousands of hours and with hundreds of mods, but to this day, i still enjoy the latest version, with few to no mods that involve parts. What got me hooked the most, was the lego like building of my spaceships! If i changed an engine, or something small, the ship would go further or become cheaper to make. As other people have said, if you like spreadsheets, this is the game for you! if you like throwing things together and watching it explode, this is for you. If on the other hand you want content, like a story that you don't have to create, this is not for you. You are the creator, the destroyer and you get to decide what you want to do.

Hi, I hate to say this, but using the latest contract configurator and Version 0.5.5, the contracts do not load. I am using 1.4.3 and the dlc.

I'm a bit tired, so I may not be seeing the files, but do you have them on kerbalx? If not, I would love to use your launchers on my save-file!- 37 replies

Thanks for replying Frylovespi! 1. That makes sense! 2. Wow, that's amazing! 3. Sorry, I had figured the 635 contracts was from 1942-present, no need to add those over historic missions! More historic missions are better! 4. Thanks, that's amazing! 5. That was more of a long term suggestion, i don't know why, but i've never tried K.R.A.S.H! I think its because I always feel like my first version is the one that will work, but I like to build my rockets based on the contract, and spend much more time designing "for the missions", then the actual missions themselves. Also, if I lose a spacecraft, I want to "feel the pain", not a few dollars. Would you say that RSS/RP-0 is the way you intended the mod to be? Or is that just how you play?

I'm so happy and thankful that you have updated and worked on Whitecat106's Historic Missions contract pack! I use it every career save! Having said that, I have a few questions/suggestions.... 1. Why dose stock have fewer missions then RSS? 2. I am semi confused, dose this mod go to 1967, or to modern times? 3. Will this have future missions (AKA trips to Mars (duna) and the Moon (Mun) that are envisioned from Nasa, ESA ect...?) 4. Can you up the time period between missions? I've had a few times where I had to wait 20+ days to get a new contract, which is fine, but I mostly use non stock ksp missions, so I have only a few contracts. 5. talking about missions, can you up the contract time periods from 70 or so days, to 100 or so days, because sometimes I build multiple versions of my spacecraft using KCT(kerbal construction Time)? Please note I haven't tried this mod yet, I am waiting for 1.4.3 because I have been having problems with 1.4.1. If you don't like my suggestions, that's fine, that's all they are! I can't wait to try this, THANKS!!!!!

unfortunately, it is still happening it took me almost 2 hours to get soyuz 4 to work, and then soyuz 5 needed soyuz 4! if you put both in one contract, it would work a lot better! I ended up cheat completing. Also although it said i completed 4, i never got a verification with how much I earned from finishing it. ( which was ONLY 1k)........ Also The first contracts totaled many $$, I could usually make 20-50 thousand per contract. So far in the soyuz and Gemini, the TOTAL amount is 30-31.5 thousand for each contract! I can barely make a 2 person Gemini for less then 45k! Luckily I use stage recovery, so on average I only lose about 2k. All I can say, is that I am lucky that I have millions of $$ saved and Sentinel contracts which give outrageous amounts! Otherwise my program would be in the hole.

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
betony1 replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It may be a problem with Malkuths Mission controller 2 or Dmagics stuff (Contract reward modifier, orbital science-though i took that out due to already having too much science), but it only happens when I update your product. I have updated the other 2 with no problems and no need to do an f12 re-set. I kind of figured it was your product since it only happened when updating contract configurator. but, having said that, one time I remember I had to get minerals(or ore, whatever it is called) and the last part, which was just getting it around kerbin. Before the update I had built it, sent it out, got the ore and updated the contract configuator, then sent it back to kerbin, everything was accepted other then getting the ore itself. But that was probably a non contract configurator contract (probably ksp stock) Good to know! Thanks again for all your help!- 5,206 replies

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
betony1 replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I usually have to cancel contracts, that I am mid way through when i update contract configurator! If i do not, it seems like the contracts were not always saying that they were finished, after I had completed them. So almost every update since 1.0 I have canceled the contracts through the f12 menu that I was currently doing. Which usually means a few contracts I have to restart fully (since they have the line that the ship cannot have already been built). Those are the things that annoy me. Since 1.0 until the last update (which i have been too busy to install) the problems kept on happening. I wish i had the screenshots, but unfortunately I keep on forgetting to do it. Strangely enough, updating various packs (including your anomaly surveyor) seem to have little to no problems and i do not need to re set at all, which seems extreamly strange to me.- 5,206 replies

[1.10.1+] Contract Configurator [v1.30.5] [2020-10-05]
betony1 replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Nightingale, I love your mod so far. unfortunately, I keep on stopping the game every time you update! Unfortunately, it seems like you are updating every other day! I was wondering are you going after each problem as it arises? or are you adding in daily as new idea's come to mind? I ask because I feel like if you did a weekly, or every other week update, I would enjoy your mod more(and not have to re-set the contracts as much!)!! As I stated, i love your mod, it is the best contract mod I have used so far! It has made my career mode fun and exciting (and finally worthwhile to me). I don't want you to stop, just have bigger and less often updates! P.S. this is only a mild criticism, I mean no harm, and sorry if it comes through the wrong way (I can't write well due to a health reason- which also is why the constant updates drive me nuts, so i'm not fully sure if this sounds rude)- 5,206 replies

[0.22] Extraplanetary Launchpads Legacy Thread
betony1 replied to skykooler's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I have scanned and used version 3.0 with the fixes, the augur did not work, I then put in version 3.1.....or so i thought, then i noticed that it was a bit above the ground. Once I put the augur into the ground, it worked flawlessly. Unlike Kethane, the augur needs to start in the ground!! I searched through and could have sworn i read most of the comments, and nobody described how it worked! I spent hours trying to play with it, and swearing it fell off as soon as it hit the ground...I was wrong! *****Tip***** put the Augur INTO the ground!
