  1. I like most of the idea's the OP posted. To me KSP career mode as it is now is very grindy and boring to be honest, which is most likely the result of me playing the game for quite some time before any off these features were added. Adding my own restrictions and heavily mod the game makes it still playable. I do realise that the game is still in development, being in an alpha state with small updates added every now and then. Perhaps that's where the core of the problem lies, since a lot of players have been playing the game for long enough to make any of these "small" additions to the game, like Science, Funds and Contracts are just not compelling and/or challenging enough. I see this as a Early Access Syndrome. Being able to play a game while it is still in development seems like a great opportunity, but you will basically finish all relevant content before the game is actually finished. So are we looking into "fixing" the game for its current player base or for future new players?

  3. I have been using this capsule for a while now and I am still in love. This picture says it all. Might as well be me in Jeb's seat, I am just as happy. Still hoping on more command pods with IVA's like this.
  4. I would like to see some real use for satellites a.k.a stock remotetech. Better IVA's
  5. I would love to see an option to create a procedural system, with as a constant that Kerbin has at least one moon ( being Mun ). At the start of a new game ( if a procedural system is created ) All other planets still need to be discovered. A decent rework of the stock parts, the current ones lack imagination and the science parts are even worse. Mystery Goo experiment is the same as the radial RCS tank...... seriously! Even though there are a couple of great mods available, in my opinion they belong in the stock game: RemoteTech FAR Kerbalengineer Fairings And more...... It may seem that I have too much to complain about the stock game, but look at it in a positive way. KSP is a great concept with huge potential.
  6. Mods are great and most likely if the game couldn't be modded, most of us would have stopped playing KSP a long time ago, well at least I would have. Problem though is that mods need to be updated whenever the core game gets an update and since mods are made by the community, there is no one obligated to keep mods up to date. I always loved the Remote Tech mod and in my opinion, the stock game needs a mechanic like this, rather then a multiplayer mode ( I am just not a big fan of multiplayer ) Sadly Remote Tech needs some serious updating. Im glad that there is a sandbox mode, because the current career mode is just very bland and tedious. Also the stock science parts make your ships look like crap.
  7. I just recently discovered this mod and like the previous poster, I just cry when after an amazing mission with the ALCOR lander, my kerbals need to return home in a much lesser capsule. The IVA is truly amazing and SQUAD should be ashamed of their own IVA models
  8. The amount of save file editing is ridiculous. It has been almost a year since the OP posted this solution, meaning it is taken Squad at least that long to fix this bug. I know bug fixing can be hell, but in this case there is quite some feedback and even this post is clearly showing what and where the problem is. Fix this Squad....
  9. Just because you like to experience the game your way, doesn't mean it should not be optional for others. Squad is so keen on having KSP as an educational tool, but the game lacks tools to truly understand on whats going on. If it wasn't clear already, I say Yes!
  10. Even though there are a lot of options by using mods, there are a few things I would like being developed and thus supported by Squad. Basic robotic parts More variation in science parts ( The current parts are way too generic ) Better fitting cockpit/fuselage parts ( The current ones doesn't seem to fit nicely ) ( space planes ) Although people consider Mechjeb cheating ( which is complete BS, considering KSP is a singe player game ) I would like a Squad part that does provide with that additional info like Dv or simply Apoapsis or periapsis. Cargo bays or modules that fit in-line with the rest of the vessel to tug away RCS cannisters, batteries, antennae or science parts.
  11. completly agree on this. KSP is a great game, but it lacks so much. Wish Squad would focus on things like this instead of MP.. Hopefully this great mod will be working again soon.

  15. First of all, if your creations are too wobbly to be launched into space, perhaps redesign or multiple launches is a better option. I would love stock fairings though, which would improve overall aerodynamics.

I am writing a new mission packs and i was just have a few questions about value's For example if wanted specify a landing spot with minLatitude / maxLatitude If the game tells me a certain flag is at 0 15' 44" N and 44 37' 43" W How should i enter that in a LandingGoal? Also ResourceGoal kind of confuses me. Numeric value 720 will show up as 720.000.

  20. If you say you had enough electric charge, my first guess would be that you somehow turned of the reaction wheels. There is basically nothing else in the game that could cause something like that ( apart from rare bugs )
  21. MJ can be useful as a teacher though, it's seems using MJ before helped you. The autopilot of MJ is a major game spoiler, but the additional information it provides ( which should had made it into the game already ) are not spoiling in any way. Although kerbal engineer can provide some of the same data, MJ is more complete.
