  1. So we're supposed to be using NoMoreGrind with RP-0? If that's the case could you please write that somewhere in the OP? I had no idea until O Nerd said something here.
  2. Do I need to unprune stuff from RO_Global_tanks/fairings.prnl to see all the available parts for RP-0? Are non-procedural tanks/fairings intended to be used for RP-0?
  3. I've installed the latest version of RP-0 through CKAN and it has renamed all of the procedural parts as Non-RP0 including fuel tanks, structural elements, batteries, decouplers, heat shields, and SRBs.
  4. Would dropping this over the top of Remote Tech break something like realism overhaul?
  5. TACLS, FASA, and Universal Storage TAC will cause the installation to fail if they are ticked as you progress through the install steps. Unticking those allows the installation to continue. Note that FASA can be installed manually from the forum thread.
  6. This was mentioned once last month: Sputnik 1 has SAS, while Sputnik 2 lacks it.
  7. Any way to get around a non-functioning Treeloader download link to play with this?
  8. Unable to use this since spaceport is now Curse and there's no copy of treeloader on Curse.
  9. Is there anywhere to get this now that spaceport is gone? No copy on Curse.
  10. And then just as I was going to sleep last night, I remembered Jool has an atmosphere for aerobraking. Screw you Laythe. Minmus has a SOI of 122km. You have to hit it dead on pretty much. Because it has such a low gravity it is easy to change your vector though once you are actually in the SOI.
  11. Running this with vertical tech tree. Landing on Minmus is tough at low tech. I'm now planning an experimental trip to aerobrake around laythe to try to land on Minmus.
  12. I am admittedly not great at the math part of this game. Suggestions for how to figure out Phase Angles for getting around this cool new system?
  13. Just a quick bug/typo report: Random Missions Package Flyby of Minmus refers to body: KMinmus. Just needs to be changed to Minmus.
  14. MCE has started doing weird things with my costs. Now when trying to launch a rocket with a cost of 22561 (no kerbals, just a probe) it's taking out 67263, and if I hit rewind it gives me back 16815. I have no idea how these numbers are related, but I know the previous version wasn't doing this. Edit: Does MCE play nice with procedural fairings? Does the cost of the fairings change with their size?
  15. I've found a strange occurrence while using both Engineer and Ferram. Opening the Surface Display during flight causes the flight engineer window to freak out and stop displaying any information (just becomes a long grey vertical box). This didn't occur until I installed FAR, but I don't know which mod has an issue.
  16. Cashen: In the settings file, change the line to Debug = True. This will enable the debug menu in game which will give you the option to refill the deposit.
  17. Is there some way to change the ratios for recovering vehicles on kerbin? Like most space agencies, I design my non-spaceplane vehicles to utilize water landings, so I would like to change my space agency to not take a 35% hit on recovering vehicles.
  18. I never used this mod before 0.21.1 can someone briefly explain how the old version with DBrickShaw/Oinker fixes would be better than RT2? RT2 seems to function correctly with respect to 1) requiring a signal pathway, 2) input delay (though this is a bit wonky sometimes). The flight computer is a bit odd at times and. Giving it a command to hold prograde for instance requires manually turning, but the computer will only allow change toward the vector your asked for, and once it reaches that vector it prevents you from turning away.
  19. I like visual indicators of stuff, but I think this could be improved by reducing the mass of this part. It currently weighs 10kg, which is a large percentage compared to the size of small probes.
  20. Is there a way to reset deposit data for a planet/moon or to somehow change the current locations of deposits?
  21. I started playing with MC a few days ago and I've noticed that I never get any optional goal payouts when I complete missions. This has been true with CSP, COS, and KIS mission packs. The "Total Mission Payout" field at the bottom of the mission window always shows the same number as the main mission reward (usually displayed at the top of the briefing), and never actually sums the payouts from completing optional goals. Is this an issue with MC or with the mission packs? Edit: I now realize that optional goal payouts are done immediately, rather than when a mission is marked 'finished'.
