  1. I'll be honest, I agree with the distaste towards the barrel design. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the wide rim at the ends of the tanks. I think a re-model wouldn't be an unreasonable idea from an art style aspect
  2. Oh my god, I totally forgot about this. It's amazing!
  3. Looking awesome man! However, I feel that you could have also made a nose/tail cone to match the adapters. Other than that, it's perfect
  4. "I don't want it because I won't be able to run it" - a number of people Then how about a simple checkbox that toggles it in the settings so that those who do want it can use it and those who can't don't have to?
  5. Why won't the RPM work for me? It says that there's some sort of initialization error and that I have to check the config.
  6. Porkjet, would you be able to put up the latest SpaceplanePlus link on the first page of this thread and on the release thread? Just so we can easily grab the latest version without sifting through pages upon pages and so that we be assured we're downloading the latest release.
  7. Some problems if I may (great work on this orbiter nonetheless, It's amazing ) -- It handles somewhat like a brick -- The ASAS is weird in that it sometimes won't hold a position
  8. I'm making a system based on current capabilities of the game engine which the devs are using (with exception to Uletis), so I don't yet want to add asteroids. In regards to the names, currently none of the names, as far as I know, (apart from Eve) are in common English.
  9. I had an idea for a larger but more desolate system than Kerbol system. Star: Hyperion Slightly larger than Kerbol, roughly 120% its mass, bluish tinge Planet 1: Aeion Hot atmospheric desert, brown & tan, few craters -Radius: 400km -SMA: 6500000km -Eccentricity: 0.14 -Inclination: 5° -Satellites: 2 --Bor --- Rocky desert, dusty, ~size of Pol, SMA ~10000km, ecc 0.1, inc 3°, grey & brown --Carp --- Rocky desert, dusty, 50% size of Pol, SMA ~35000km, ecc 0.2, inc 10°, grey Planet 2: Ranley Temperate atmospheric oceania, blue, no surface features -Radius:890km -SMA: 21500000km -Eccentricity: 0.04 -Inclination: 0.3° -Satellites: 3 --Tellyk --- Temperate selena, lightly cratered, ~size of Mun, SMA ~15000km, ecc 0.05, inc 4°, tan & orange --Merl --- Temperate selena, mountainous, cracked + craters, ~size of Bop, SMA ~21000km, ecc 0.1, inc 3.2°, brown & grey --Sine --- Temperate atmospheric terra, thick atmosphere, mostly flat, ~size of Duna, SMA ~40000km, ecc 0.12, inc 12°, orange & yellow & brown + reddish ocean Planet 3: Uletis Cold gas giant, red, three large storms, thin ring system -Radius: 7900km -SMA: 75400000km -Eccentricity: 0.07 -Inclination: 1.6° -Ring system thickness/SMA: 600km (begin) & 750km (end) -Satellites: 4 --Caldera --- Warm volcanic terra, average atmosphere (like Kerbin), lightly cratered & somewhat mountainous + multiple lakes, ~size of Laythe, SMA ~65000km, ecc 0.01, inc 0.2°, brown & tan + blue lakes --Arren --- Cold ice world, thin atmosphere, streaked & cratered & somewhat mountainous, ~size of Duna, SMA ~97000km, ecc 0.05, inc 0.6°, white & brown & dark grey --Selene --- Cold desert, very thin atmosphere, cratered & dusty & medium mountain ranges + small ice caps, ~size of Duna, SMA ~159000km, ecc 0.11, inc 5°, orange & tan & brown & white --Riley --- Cold selena, heavily cratered, ~size of Dres, SMA ~213000km, ecc 0.3, inc 25°, dark grey Planet 4: Garimene Frozen ice giant, thick atmosphere, blue-green, no visible surface features -Radius: 3300km -SMA: 127700000km -Eccentricity: 0.23 -Inclination: 15° -Satellites: 1 --Cythone --- Frozen ice world, thin atmosphere, smeared with dirt and ice, ~size of Eeloo, SMA ~59000km, ecc 0.5, inc 30°, dark grey & brown and white
  10. Wait, so you're no longer using that custom IVA panel?
  11. Using your inflatable hab module and the centrifuge I made an awesome two-piece Duna transfer vehicle!
  12. That thing is awesome. I've always wanted to do a fly-by mission, but I worry about the orbital maneuvering involved.
  13. That thing is shockingly fast. Very impressed with your work
  14. That's hardly the biggest concern in a case like this. Think about the 2.5k radius physics bubble that sits around your ship. The problem you'll still get is that the probes' parachutes won't deploy and you'll still lose them.
  15. I'm almost certain that we've had this thread before.
  16. "Union Pacific", not the other way around.
  17. Woah. Most stock ISS replicas are not very well made, but this one is absolutely amazing. How's the part count on this beast?
  18. The first main problem with making the X3 an SSTO is that it has no tanks with oxidizer. I could empty some of the tanks though, seeing as the thing has enough fuel to circumnavigate Kerbin possibly twice, and clip in some LFO tanks. The second main problem is that it's too tail heavy, but that could probably be fixed with tweaking the fuel count too.
  19. Give that the R.A.P.I.E.R engines are a new technology IRL in development AFAIK, I'm disappointed that they're not significantly better ISP and TWR-wise. I mean, is new tech not supposed to be much better than older tech?
  20. Oh man, that comet looks sick. Do you plan on making the tail more uneven and more blurry?
