  1. I'll post some pics up in a tad if you'd like to see
  2. Make them 64% the actual size they should be. Speaking of which, I'm designing a Delta IV booster. I'll post pics later
  3. I was actually thinking about something like this for KSP. I'll be following this thread
  4. Ahem... must we leave out some good Australian ones?
  5. That... is such an unfathomably beautiful phrase. Anyways, back on topic - I like your idea. I would implement different difficulty modes as you alternatively suggested in the beginning, removing the "terminate" button on normal difficulty and higher, and removing the "revert mission" button on hard difficulty.
  6. Let's say that I have 8 panels in the one symmetry group. Currently if I want to place a part on the panels, I can only either pick to place one or eight. What I suggest is that we be able to add any number of parts to the panels, as long as the number is a factor of eight or whatever the parent symmetry group is. Example: I have attached 6 boosters to my core stage. I only want three of them to have fins. The parent symmetry group is 6. I want the option to be able to add three, that is, one fin every second booster.
  7. Dude... Calm down. It's only been two days. Perhaps he's cooking up something else or busy right now.
  8. Looking great it's a shame KSP doesn't have white panels. EDIT: Although, the fairings should be taller
  9. Yet their complaining completely disregards the fact that Helldiver and ZRM have greater priorities now, which has been mentioned. In my eyes, that's just plain rude.
  10. Would you like to team up with me to make a rocket building company? I can have a go at Russian stuff, like the R7 or something
  11. My guess is that they are quite CPU intensive, but with the welding mod you could easily achieve a lag free station
  12. Looking beautiful. However, the boosters should be the same length as the Ares I core.
  13. I just tried out the Ares I, and I must say, although it's just a tiny bit wobbly, it's very enjoyable to fly. Same goes for the Orion MPCV.
  14. Uh oh, someone's already made an Ares V... Meh, keep going
  15. Actually, I could probably help you out there. The main problem with recreation of SpaceX rockets is that the 1.25m rockets just don't have enough thrust for the job, if I remember correctly.
  16. I'm absolutely wild with ideas on this whole recent NASA rocketry. Would you be willing to take a look into Project Constellation eventually once you've got all this stuff out of the way and complete, or some SpaceX stuff?
  17. Woooo! Looks great so far I'm definitely keeping an eye on this thread. EDIT: I'm taking a stab and saying that you plan to use the Ares I core stage for the Boosters on the Ares V, right?
  18. Fwoah, that looks like a real pain to make. Also, why not do the Ares V as well instead of the SLS, seeing as you've already made the Ares I? Finally, last point: The core stage on the Ares I is still a little bit too short. I recommend another stripy tank just for good measure EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT: I just noticed the last picture in the album. All is well! EDIT 2: Also, you should post some pictures of it to /r/kerbalspaceprogram EDIT 3: In case you don't know, that's a link to the Reddit KSP page
  19. Just compared it to the real thing, and I think you should extend the core stage by another one of those stripy tanks. Currently the injection stage is the same length as the core stage. IRL, the core stage is just a little bit longer than the injection stage. Other than that, it's perfect
  20. That is the best stock Ares I I've seen yet! Good job
  21. The Spaceport link may or may not be faulty. The download gets interrupted when it's at about 30% then becomes corrupt.
