  1. What's the TWR on this. Should it be able to reach LKO with 4,500dV?
  2. Obviously you do care, seeing as you brought it up in the first place.
  3. I've never tried to do an SSTO so that'll be fun Which plane should I convert to SSTO? EDIT: It's not fun. I tried and failed. The plane is too heavy to be an SSTO, and it's just too heavy overall
  4. By the way, Asstechnology isn't actually patented, so feel free to use it in your aircraft if you please
  5. We at BartyBum's Suborbital & Orbital Aircraft Repository are proud to present our first large batch of suborbital aircraft have ever uploaded to the Spacecraft Exchange. We've been avid lurking engineers since 0.18.2 and have thoroughly enjoyed our time so far on the forums. Without further ado, here we go: <<<Click on images to download>>> Rustee6 Our engineers found this aircraft in Bill's mansion. He still hasn't noticed it's disappeared... This plane flies "like a champ" according to the engineers, although their recent tinkering has brought about some minor problems to the landing sequence, in particular what they like to call 'gradual influx of sudden x-axis oscillation', so please try to land on the slow side and take off as soon as you can. Disclaimer: BBSOAR warranty void if aircraft take off attempt lasts longer than 7 seconds. Charger Space Taxi The BBSOAR's sudden feat with the Charger Space Taxi before any attempts at stack launchers was triggered by Wernher von Kerman's sudden passion for reusable orbiters. He hasn't yet disclosed why this sudden passion emerged in the first place, but engineers and customers are assured that it is in NO WAY linked to sexual desires, despite rumours likely started by Dildo Kerman. The Charger Space Taxi comes with an optional launch vehicle adapter mounted on the rear to make it even easier now to strap your launch vehicles! Featured: Our engineers exploited the universe's laws of physics still in development and have thus allowed the aircraft to return to zero degree banking by itself upon releasing SAS. Disclaimer: The Charger Space Taxi comes with a launch vehicle, but only with the VAB version. Without adapter With adapter VAB version with adapter and Kardus MLV Clicking this one's pictures will not link to a download. If you do not wish to fly using the Kardus MLV you are most certainly permitted to remove it and build your own launcher. Keep in mind the CoM, CoL and CoT. Download KFA2000 Eagle Originally inspired by the Solar system's Eurofighter EFA2000 Typhoon fighter, our engineers have rolled out Jeb's their all new KFA2000 Eagle. Pleasing aesthetics and stability are promised with this product, and unlike the Rustee6, the Eagle does not experience a wobbly take off. However, due to the fact that not all of our aircraft pods have windows, pilots may or may not be flying blindly. Disclaimer: BBSOAR warranty void if flown using IVA X2 Cyclone Our engineers had to dig up this baby, and boy, was it worth the bribe. The X2 is the first aircraft of the X-series large aircraft, the 'X' implying the lack of useful functions. The X2 is the first aircraft which utilizes three engines as opposed to one or two. We could have used the TurboJet Engine as the tail mounted engine, but the engineers protested against this idea as the Basic Jet Engine "sounded cooler" and "gave a funny overall flying sound". Disclaimer: BBSOAR warranty void if any attempts at replacing engines with other engines are made. X3 Hurricane We swear, we did not anticipate this aircraft to have such a nice butt, although Wernher von Kerman seriously likes it, so I guess we will stick with it. We have proudly patented our all new Asstechnology and use it on a regular basis as of now. She flies amazingly and also gives a "funny overall flying sound". She is our pride and our joy. We assure you that her massive rear end is not as a result of overfeeding. Disclaimer: BBSOAR warranty void if fed junk food and not exercised on regular basis X4 Typhoon Well, this bad boy handles as if it were flying in a typhoon. We kid, it has superb manoeuvrability and still looks beautiful, a quality all our products promise. We thrive off your happiness. Asstechnology has been slightly updated with this X-series aircraft, now giving a more slender and appealing look. Disclaimer: BBSOAR warranty void if attempts at flying in typhoons are made. We at BartyBum's Suborbital & Orbital Aircraft Repository sincerely hope that you are pleased with your products and intend to release more in the future. We may or may not have a stab at rockets. EDIT 1: Added Charger Space Taxi VAB version w Kardus launcher
  6. Oh my god... Dude, chuck that into the open source construction techniques thread, it's amazing!
  7. Basically, Dan is asking you when you'll release the ISS and OPSEK
  8. Are you planning to do the Constellation program? EDIT: Also, what's the part count on the Ares V?
  9. Guys, he didn't say that he'd release it on the 6th - he only said that he's able to resume work on the 6th... "Also, to be clear, there is NO ETA as of this moment, however I can return to working on the project by 6th December at the earliest." - page 112
  10. Behind the inflatable habitation module, where the detachable fuel tank and the bridge are located
  11. The most difficult things about this ship will be that you'll need to lift parts 5m in diameter in Ares V rockets, primarily the 12-count rear fuel tank. Also, the frame lattice I cannot imagine anyone making successfully...
  12. Which, if I may add, looks amazing. However, it'd be super difficult to pull this one off, seeing as the ship is GIANT.
  13. Alternatively, you could form a 12-polygon star by using 4 polygons on each axis which form an 8-point star. This would yield a cloud which while it isn't purely volumetric, eliminates the ugly effect of clouds which constantly face you.
  14. I have an idea that could solve the problem of the camera-facing clouds when you get too close. As you approach, the cloud gets more transparent until it disappears right before you pass it. Also, as you approach the cloud, it stops rotating/focusing on the camera.
  15. Could you upload the download links to something other than a page which requires me to sign up? EDIT: Never mind
  16. I'm currently a bit busy to try your Ares I, but for how long does your core booster burn?
  17. Someone dealt with the TWR issue by clipping Skipper engines for the core stage. His looked really good too. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55395-Ares-I-Delta-IV-Heavy-and-Orion-MPCV?highlight=Ares
