  1. I have a contract pack request. I just installed kerbal galaxy mod. I would like contracts to go to the star systems and/or the planets in this mod. There is five extra stars in this mod. It would be awesome to get paid to visit them.
  2. Nightingale I have a pack request, Can you creat a pack for resupply missions? I'm thinking start it with a build a station in LKO to hold x amount of kerbals. Then have a contract show up say every half Kerbin year to resupply it with TAC life support. Then maybe a mun station with an annual resupply. Then minmus and so on and so on through the solar system. This would be so awesome
  3. I used FAR for a while. Its not hard to understand really. You dont need to worry about all the graphs and windows. I use NEAR now but only because there is a compatibility issue with dang it. Its awesome when u tip your shuttle over a bit and then just sit back and watch it slowly tip as it rises doing a beautiful realistic gravity turn with almost no effert. I do have to play with the main engine throttle a bit but not wasd input at all. Then if you add deadly reentry to the mix you have a concoction for some really fun moments. I hope the aero update is NEAR. I think it should be stock and I bet a lot of people would love it if they just didn't know they were using it.
  4. Well since there are already other packs out there with all bodies I'm just going to keep what I got. Ty for the pack. It gave me all the knowledge I needed to do what I wanted. I have a scan contract for all 16 bodies in a nice progression chain. I do want to know what exactly is a dll file? I noticed in the cc mod there is one for both remote tech and scansat. Does it need these files to have a pack work with it? How do I read it? How do I make one? I have so many questions. I think for my next step in making a pack I will try to make contracts to build a stock space station. Seems everybody loves to build one why not make some money while doing it.
  5. Nightingale, I got your mod today with the two contract packs. So I looked and saw that the entire Jool system is missing from the SCANsat pack. This simply will not do for me. So I made them by copying a file then editing it for each of the Jool system bodies and I also included Gilly. It just ain't complete without every body in the game. So, I don't know about all the copyright crap and I admit I copied the original authors work, I even left his name in the created by line. But I want to share them. How can we do this? I say we because I just made em to give to you to distribute. I want nothing for them especially the trouble of all the stupid copyright laws. PM me if you would like to have the files. You can change the names of the ones I made to your name for all I care then distribute them anyway you see fit. Thanks for a kick ass mod!
  6. This Is awesome. I actually was scared off by the short description of this mod. The word syntax frightened me. But after reading on the remote tech pack and then finding the sacansat pack its a gotta have mod. I see from reading your all working on duration contracts. Cant wait for tac life support pack. Wink wink! Also an idea, you can make contracts that include stock station parts. So it requires you to build a station using certain parts at a certain altitude for a certain duration making building stock stations an actual paying thing instead of waste of money for something everyone wants. I use station science but I really rather not. I try to stay away from parts packs for ram. Plus getting science is easy it funds that I struggle with. Great work nightingale! KEEP THE PACKS COMING PLEASE!
  7. I have having problems with realtime reflection on parts causing a crash. If I turn off realtime reflaction I can load onto launch pad these parts but if it is on vessels will not load. Does not help to cover them with fairings. Can I turn off part reflection and keep visor realtime reflection? I deleted the MM_Reflections.cfg file and fixed my issue. Parts no longer reflect but visor does. - - - Updated - - - Delete the MM_Reflections.cfg file from TR mod folder. This will get u just what u want. I wanted the same thing n it works for me. Hope it helps.
  8. How do I delete stock parts? I use procedural fairings so tge stock one r never used. Also some stock probe cores could go at least one I never use. There are four small solar panels. I could delet two. Many parts I can think of. I'm gojng home and do this. Do I need to do anything like remove the mod manager cache as well to get rid of things there? I would like some details on how to do this please without causing a problem later on.
  9. Oops! I stand corrected. Now can u make the parts look more stock? I downloaded it anyway! At least it makes stations have a purpose and gives science.
  10. I have an issue. I don't wan to have to open an account on git hub to report it so I'm posting here. Sorry It keeps saying I need a spare to perform a repair. I take one from pod and it still says this. After a few attempts it starts to say jeb took 0 spares from pod. I have the option to deposit spares back in the pod so he has parts. I'm using version 0.5.2.3 Dang it! mod bug.: http://youtu.be/YTa3PlFhIpM I deleted everything then installed just what's needed fro dangit. Worked fine. Added visuals and near. It still works. Slowly reinstalling all my mods till it breaks again. Will update asap. Its back. Mission controller 2 has caused this issue to return. Ok. I removed mc2 and mm cache. Reinstalled all mods. Your mod works perfectly again. Sorry for the premature posting. I guess the issue is with that mods repair contracts. Its sad because I use remote tech and really wanted to make money for my coms network. Oh well sacrifices must be made and you staying. Love the mod hope you can use this to maybe fix the compatibility issue. Ty!
  11. First thing first. This mod rocks. Ty shaw! The real reflections are so cool. I have a question. When the game loads does ot load both stock skybox and replacment? If so does this use more ram? If that is so how can I just go into the stock files and replace ot permanently to save ram. Every little bit helps! I have one suit, helmet jetpack, and skybox I want to use. I will still use ur mod for reflections and visor.
  12. I for one like the idea here but, I rather the resources be something realistic. I also rather the parts look more stock. I tried it out but removed it. I would try it again if update changes parts n I could change names of resources to something more real.

  14. VISOR REFLECTION QUESTION! I know visor reflection is a "fake" reflection. I figured out how to make my custom skybow the visor reflection but, of course it shows every where. Even in daylight on Kerbin. Is there a way to set multiple reflections and have them change depending on kerbals location? I would like to set it to reflect skybox if on planet without atmosphere or in space. Reflect clouds if on Kerbin or laythe. Reflect purple clouds on eve (same as kerbin justed color change). Dust storms on duna. I saw in the configure file that iva suits equal true on kerbin to make em spawn on kerbin in them. So I thought this idea may be possible. I'm not a coder person so explain it to me like a four year old if it possible and how to do it. Ty!!

  16. FAR/NEAR, Procedural Fairings, TAC life support, Remote Tech, KER, KAS, KCT. These are some i feel should be in stock, listed by priority.
  17. The visor reflection is set to reflect stars. It does not actually reflect what's in front of it. Its a "fake" reflection. I too have this problem and want to solve it by trying to find out how to set the reflection to diffrent ones depending on my kerbals location.
  18. Hey green skull Wanted to say how much I appreciate your work. I wanted a dark suit with dayglow green before I even knew you existed. Low and behold I found your work. I downloaded the MEGApack. I used ur suits but slightly modified them to loose the actual skulls. I just didn't want skulls on my suits. I had a problem with your default config though, all my fault because I don't know programming. I used the stock TR config file to resolve the issue of spawning on Kerbin with a helmet. It sucks because it automatically shows the reflection even if your not in Space. I used your Purple Haze skybox which is awesome btw. I then took those images and renamed and resized them to be the visor reflections. It looks great. Is there a way to set visor reflections to reflect one thing if on planets with clouds like kerbin and another if in space? I resolved the issue by making them spawn on kerbin without helmets but would love to make them have a different reflection if on certain planets. EDIT: I would like to make visor show clouds if on kerbin or laythe and duststorms if on duna and purple clouds if on eve to match each planets actual enviroment. Tgen the skybox scene on all the other planets and moons.
  19. This version DOES work with 0.90 Beta. I just installed clouds on Kerbin, Eve, Jool, and Laythe. I have sandstorms on Duna. I added auroras to all of these planets also. I removed city lights without any problems. I also added texture replacer and have visor reflections, alternate space suits and, removed helmets in breathable environments. If you are having problems with this mod you have installed it wrong. BETA is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

  21. Ok. I will disable them until I get ready to use em. Also this helps a lot. I always thought they broke just a bit too fast. Everything else is great though!

  23. First I want to say thank you for this mod. I really like it. It makes KSP a lot more I teresting. I do have one issue. I feel that RCS thrusters break to quick. I mean before I get to Mun without even using them they are broken. How can I change this? I would still like em to break but just not as fast. I thank you for any help on what settings to change or how to change the cfg.file for them.
